Avoid at all costs

My experience with this dealership was deeply disturbing.

After purchasing a van from them, I later discovered that a tracking device had been installed in the vehicle without my knowledge or consent. The dealership also held copies of my personal identification and my home address.

Months later, the van was taken from outside my home overnight without any visible forced entry. Given the prior installation of a tracker and their access to my personal details, I am extremely concerned about the role this may have played in the vehicle being taken.
This has resulted in serious financial loss and distress. I urge others to think very carefully before dealing with this company and to ensure independent checks are carried out on any vehicle purchased.
Based on my experience, I would not use this business again and would advise others to avoid using this business

Shameless thieves to be avoided at all costs

We hired a truck from Nationwide Hire and signed a devise on its return to confirm there was no damage, or at least no more damage than we had recorded with them on delivery!
Now two months after the return of the vehicle they claim there was damage and have taken our full excess £2400 ! When asked what the damage was they have ignored us. They sent pictures as ‘evidence’ however the pictures do not show any damage. They also claim that we the customers were not present on the return of the vehicle, this is just a complete lie as we were there waiting for their guy and checked the condition of the truck with him.
They are a bunch of shameless thieves who should be avoided at all costs!

No-show, poor response, no compensation - avoid.

This company is trading as nationwidehireuk.co.uk
I booked a van for £298.75 (for 24 hours) to move my daughter’s furniture out of her flat.
The van didn't turn up and the person I called sounded a bit confused / surprised about my call and said they would get back to me.
After several follow-up calls from me, I was told the van would be with me three hours late, while I waited with my daughter’s furniture sitting in her flat’s car park.
When I complained, my emails were ignored till I said I would escalate to senior management and then I received what looked like a copy pasted response with no offer of compensation.
No-show, poor response, no compensation - avoid.
