My favourite coach tour company. They're always reliable and the coach driver puts up their personal phone number in case you need it if anything goes wrong so I always feel reassured. Good prices and enjoyable day trips, my partner and I have been to 3 this year and have put money aside for more next year.

First experience with Bovy Tours
9/9/25 booked City Europe & Adinkerke trip with Tim Driver. I have booked this trip and paid for it , says will give me a call two days before the trip but no call and confirmation . Call on Monday (8/9 )to the company nobody answered and left messages didn’t get back to the customer . Online show coach pickup time is not updated , luckily I call my friend she told me pickup time at 6:45 am at the Mechanical Elephant.
Very disappointed 9:00 get in to ferry 12:00 arrived at port Boulogne de Calais 13:00 at XL Tobacco Adinkerke nothing to get in here , 14:00 arrived City Europe shopping centre is big shopping mall but get back in coach at 16:00 .Shopping only for 2 hours!!! What do you think ??? 17:00 arrived to the port get in ferry at 18:00 . What Adinkerke & city Europe trip is this ???

Delightful day out to the Music Hall yesterday. Comfortable coach, pleasant helpful driver. Amazing views of London's docklands en route. Three course tasty lunch piping hot. Vincent Hayes incredible venue in Docklands live up to expectations. Hopefully Bovy's will be going there again next year.

This was an excellent day trip, a little more time at the site would have enabled you to see all that was no offer. A very helpful driver added to the enjoyment of the day.

Useless company. The driver was late arriving after the panto in London. Usual excuses. Se t off for home at midnight. Then the idiot driver stops in a lay-by because of his tachometer time. Why he didn’t stop at Medway so people could use the loos and get a hot drink !!!!!! USELESS BLOODY DRIVER. Eventually GOT HOME @ 04.30. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. IDIOTS.

Terrible company- trip to London to the panto- over an hour and a half late picking us up after the show - stood in cold and rain and then stopped 10 minutes from home for a 45 minute break ! 1.44 in the morning! The toilet is blocked on the bus and where we have stopped there is no toilet facilities! Never again !

The coach was clean and comfortable and the drivers (there were 2) were friendly, professional and drove well. However, the coach was late for the first pick up, resulting in then being even later for the 2nd pick up which meant we missed the ferry and had to change ferry course, this resulted in us only having 3 hours in Bruges which was not the plan, and nowhere near enough time! It took just over 7 hours to get to Bruges, we spent more time sat on the coach than we did anywhere else! Such a shame, so based on this experience, I would not recommend this service.

Allington Castle Trip was well attended for very good reasons. Included delightful River Cruise & Guided Tour of Castle grounds plus limited access inside of Castle. Highly informative and amusing Guided Tour with historical details that you very likely have never come across in a book. Highly memorable . Sturdy pair of shoes recommended on the walk about.

I understand that there can be unforseen circumstances but please, if a trip has to be cancelled, it would be common courtesy to let your customers know and not leave them standing at the pick up points.

Ramsgate Active Retirement group have just had a very pleasant day trip to Rochester Christmas Market.
Driver was extremely careful and professional to avoid a road closure due to an accident. Giving us a smooth and pleasant journey via some very difficult roads.

We had trip booked to Brugges also.
So disappointed as by the time we got to Christmas market we was told we had 1 hour half. It took half an hour to walk to them so left us with half an hour to look around. Waste of money to be honest.

Sadly been to Brugges today apparently there was a driver short so our time in Brugges was 1.5 hrs this consisted of a 15 min walk there and back to the smaller market we walk fast so an hour visit such a shame as this trip should have been cancelled as it was not what was advertised hopefully the chap who organised it can offer compensation for a wasted journey a day spent travelling even the border force felt sorry for us perhaps bovy tours should be careful who hires their vehicles out with Bovy tours number plates etc as it’s bringing their company into disrepute

Awful company, given 1.5hr in Bruges, the driver blames Bovy, Bovy blame the driver for privately hiring the coach. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had a trip booked recently with Bovy Tours, Ramsgate, to go to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Arrived at the pick up point to be told we wasn't on the list, resulting in a very upset and disappointed family. We was told a full refund would be made but just 24 hours later our booking was strangely crossed out. They're excuse was that someone phoned and cancelled due to a death in the family, therefore refund was out of the question. A devious excuse to pass the blame for incompetence. I have received just one comment from this company saying that they tried to solve the situation but I wouldn't listen. If I was offered a resolution and a refund, I would've listened, I'm not going to lose money on purpose.. They also state that they've discussed this issue with a newspaper, shame they haven't contacted myself 🤔
It's just excuse after excuse in an attempt to cover someone's mistake.
Be careful if using this company, very quick to take your money but no good at delivering. 😡😡
Update: Since this review, the company has emailed myself admitting a miscommunication and asked me to remove all reviews before giving a refund first. Quote "following which we will issue £100 direct to your nominated bank account for the 4 tickets for Winter Wonderland" ( Maybe blackmail??) Even though the refund offer is conditional, they still insist that they are not devious or unscrupulous 🤔. This seems more like a payment to hide their error more than being a decent and honest attempt at giving a genuine refund. I'd rather stick to my principles and let them keep the money as it's so important to them..

Went on a day trip to Bruges , beautiful place on what we saw of it as we only had 2 hours there due to missing the ferry going over apparently because French staff were on strike , on the way back we missed the ferry because the driver got the time difference wrong , got home at 1.45am in the morning ☹ , very disappointing 😞.

I recently went with Bovy to the Cotswolds. It was an excellent trip with a very competent driver and considerate person, Tim. He went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable, keeping us well informed and altering the plans slightly when needed. The hotel was modern and comfortable but the evening meal on several days was not as good as expected.
This is the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5.

Fantastic service. Great coaches and professional staff. Highly recommended
