The only criticism I ever hear of Box…

The only criticism I ever hear of Box is that you can not move the destination folder. For many professionals, including me, this is a MASSIVE problem, and also an inexplicably stupid one. All I can say is thank God for Dropbox and the other cloud services, who provide more intelligent solutions.

Box is quick to cheat you, will not recifty

Box offers a $15 monthly business plan that meets the needs of storage for my photography back-up however, when you purchase a year, they triple the cost as they require 3 licenses. So why don't they start the pricing at the minimum? Savvy way to cheat consumers. Then a few days later, when the invoice arrives, they do not allow you to cancel and they personal 1-license plan has not nearly enough storage. Unethical company. Out to grab your money but have no interest in providing service or doing the right thing by their customers. There are too many other, honest options out there to spend your money with Box.

Purposefully dishonest site design…

Purposefully dishonest site design makes it very difficult to see how much of your trial is up. Then no notification before taking out your money. I did a £4 a month trial (which would be charged annually) but was charged £144 for "3 seats". Fraudsters, avoid like the plague and use DropBox instead.

APPARENT SPAM FEEDER -- DON'T GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR ADDRESS!

Not only is their service total crap; THEY APPEAR TO BE SPAMMER FEEDS!!! Moreover, it's likely they sell the email addresses of anyone that is "invited," since they now have that address, too. So if someone "invited" you, let them know to stop dooming their friends to spam! Box.com is like a virus -- at least stop it locally if you can.

I wrote them four or five times for written confirmation that they would not sell my information, and they responded three of those times without committing to not selling my information (and ignored the fourth request so far).

Need Help? That's what the page says; then blank screen below. Rubbish support on trying to actually upgrade and pay more. Gave up and moving on elsewhere.

I can't believe how this company still…

I can't believe how this company still operating with the worst support I have ever experience in my entire IT carrier and I have been in IT over 25 Years. Their payment system doesn't work so I can't log in and no one available to take the call so you have to email via their community support, and to do that you need to log in. I think this US company should have stayed in the US only as they don't have any operation hours for UK customers. Can't talk to anyone and No billing support until the US is open for business which is around 2 PM UK time. The Phone number on the invoice gives you 4 option, 1 for the support that tells you to log in a ticket on their website, 2 for billing they are close, 3 for sales tells you they are experiencing a huge number of call and you should leave a message, and 4 for UK reception that tells you to leave a voice mail. then you are back to sending a support ticket which you can't log in to submit a ticket.

Can't I give them a zero?

Can't I give them a zero? When I tried to cancel my cancel-any-time subscription, customer service bounced me from one person to another until I finally heard from someone who told me I couldn't do it myself but would need my "account admin" (me) to do it. I can't say they're unresponsive, because they're bending over backwards to demonstrate how incompetent they are. When the charge shows up on my AmEx card I'll simply dispute it, but I want to make sure nobody else gets involved with this inefficient and nightmarish outfit.

Horrible support if any

The product Box drive/sync usually works Ok but the support is horrible. They do not work during the weekend, the support is only via chats (no emails or phone) and they are clueless. Stay away!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, sneaky pricing, and the uploads I scheduled from DocuSign never finished before they charged me $900. The burden of proof is now on me to get what I paid for. I do not recommend using this product. Since I've requested a refund, my case has gone through 5 different reps and they all ask for different things and bury their responses in other emails.

Product support is basically non existent

Beyond frustrated. The account rep said I had to open a ticket to fix my problem so I did, then the support rep walked me through what to do, and did not give me all the information about the transfer and how long it would take and we are now going on hour 4 with no files transferred, the organization cannot work on anything and no one at box seems to care. They caused the issue and then took no responsibility and are completely unwilling to help fix the issue.

I dread Box documents

I hate this system, strong words, but it is beyond painful. Uploads not too bad, slow, but it works. However, as a company we receive multiple documents uploaded by contractors into different folders/sub folders daily. Sometimes 100s. It is IMPOSSIBLE to download just those uploaded that day. Yes you can go into every folder, select multiple, download, but why not just have an option to download those documents uploaded today, or since dd/mm/yy. Even documents uploaded days before often show as new which then means you have to compare 100s of poxy documents to what you have already, painfully, downloaded. And downloads are SO SLOW. Using other systems which are so much friendlier. I dread Box documents. This should be illegal on the basis of being responsible for poor mental health.

Ronmary Saniel was no help at all all.

No live support. No live support. poor integration. Ronmary Saniel was no help at all all. Tried to downgrade to due to COVID-19, and was not able to talk to anyone—only emails by Ronmary Saniel who sent the same email over and over—you can cancel after you Pay for the next month.

RIP off

I signed up to view and send documents a customer sent me who uses box. I was unable to use box for the purpose I had intended. I tried to cancel during the free trial period. They make canceling IMPOSSIBLE. I eventually received a response that I had a free personal account. Well, today they changed my card $180. You can not speak to anyone. Stay away from Box

Their customer service is HORRIBLE!

Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! I've waited almost a week for someone to call me to walk me through how to fix an uploading issue i'm having. Someone called me initially and just had me uninstall and reinstall box drive. That didn't fix the issue so he said he was sending my case to a team of speacialist and someone will reach out to me. They sent an email to ask some questions and I responded to their request. Almost a week and still nothing.

subfolder files not in folder upload

tried to upload folders through the folder upload tool. works for Folders and files in the initial folder but not files in sub folders. Decided not to carry on my subscription but forgot to cancel it in time from the trial due to no further use but failed to get back initial subscription cost due to fairly stringent customer service
