Sounds good... but need more info

Sounds good, but don't like having to give credit card details before having any contact with my Hubster. Would like more info before committing i.e. need more explanation on "splits" (referred to in the T & Cs). I need full and clear explanations before committing.

Our FAQ also gives a bit more info into "What is a Split?"
An example of a Split, "Let's share a box of apples", you can see the total number required to get 'over the line' for the whole membership in the Hub to purchase. The threshold is 12 apples for the whole Hub so not that many.

I’m hoping for more reviews on legitimacy of service before releasing my credit card details!

Not sure if it is real. Need to register credit card on first contact. No idea who what why. So feels strange. Please have ability to make contact with hub before joining. I’m spoiled maybe that I have several options locally. Would like to reach out to members before joining!

When you're comfortable, find a Hub and join it and the Hubster will give you a call to answer any questions.
Your point about entering card details is understandable and we'll work with our IT team to review the sign-up process. Having said that: you can feel absolutely safe in the knowledge that card details are not stored in our database and are held securely by a government-approved payment provider (Eway).
