Avoid using this company

I'm not one to write reviews, but my advice would be to avoid using this store, for the following reasons:
- the website flooring quantities are deceiving, so their prices appear comparably better, however they actually charge by square meter rather than box. Granted their website states that, however it can be easily misread, and I ended up having to place two orders, and there prices were no better than competitors.
- due to having to place a second order, I was under pressure to get the product in time for our contractor, so I asked to collect, as delivery would take too long. BPM supplies arranged for me to collect from their supplier, which was a 3.5 hour round trip only to find the communication between BPM and their supplier broke down and the order was already in transit to BPM supplies.
- After contacting BPM supplies multiple times it took them 2 days to track down the order, and they offered no help in getting the order to me, even though I asked them multiple times to deliver and after sending me on a useless trip at my own cost to collect, and we still had to collect from BPM supplies factory

Would leave less than 1 star but it not…

Would leave less than 1 star but it not possible.
Sent a courier to pick up 3 doors and 2 of them were damaged.Cost me €100 and still have no goods.No one in management will take or return my call and there is no offer to compensate me for the mess.
Stay as far away as possible from this company

Terrible experience so far

Always late with delivery! Always damaged parts coming in! Can easily send you wrong part or after you`ll make an order and pay, say that they don`t have it in stock! Terrible experience so far

Misleading Product Quantity & Poor Customer Service – Avoid!

I ordered SPC vinyl flooring from BPM Supplies, but the delivery was 2 square meters short due to incorrect box quantity information on their website. When I contacted the Dublin branch, the representative (Evan) claimed that boxes "usually contain more than stated" and that they "round down by 0.8m" in their calculations. This misleading practice means customers may unknowingly receive less than paid for—unacceptable for a professional business.

To make matters worse, two boxes arrived damaged in transit. Despite providing photo evidence showing the flooring’s locking mechanisms were broken (rendering them unusable), Evan dismissed it as "just the outside boxes" and ignored further requests for replacement. BPM Supplies has refused to compensate for the shortage or replace the damaged goods.

After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring issue. Buyers beware: This company fails to take responsibility for errors, provides inconsistent information, and ignores valid complaints. I hope they improve their service, but until then, I strongly advise caution when dealing with them.

Absolutely the worst experience

Absolutely the worst consumer experience I've ever had.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with BPM was so incredibly frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others.

From the moment I placed my order, it was clear this company has no idea how to run a business, let alone treat its customers with basic respect. I ordered over 30 lengths of cladding and what I received was not only late, but completely wrong and some of the lengths were damaged - and when I tried to contact support, I was met with either silence or canned responses that resolved nothing.

What makes it worse is the total lack of accountability. I was bounced between different reps, each less helpful than the last, and not a single one seemed empowered or interested in actually solving the issue. After weeks of back-and-forth my only solution was to drive to Portlaoise and collect the missing lengths myself, whereupon I met the owner who called himself JP - an absolute chancer if ever I met one.

Avoid this company at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere — anywhere else — unless you enjoy being ignored, misled, and ultimately ripped off.

Bought composite decking

Bought composite decking. Extremely helpful working out boards to m2 clips colour, Very efficient lad at the store, delivery very reasonable and quick. Went to 3 other places to get quotes, BPM was far miles ahead for quality and cost.

I had a terrible experience with BPM

I had a terrible experience with BPM. I paid €530 for door handles plus €14.99 shipping., but it took 3 weeks for the order to arrive. When the door handles finally came, they weren’t suitable, so I had to return them. The company was slow to respond when I contacted them about the return, and when they finally got back to me, they charged a ridiculous 20% restocking fee. In the end, I only got €416 refunded out of the €530 I initially paid. This is an awful company to deal with- slow shipping, and excessive charges for returns. Do yourself a favour and avoid ordering from them!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Ordered online 16 door knobs sets to collect. Some of the knobs didn’t match the order, were different colours and styles but were in the correct boxes so I didn’t realise until carpenter had put up the wrong ones. When I rang back they refused to send new ones even though I live an hour away and can’t drive at minute due to health issues which I explained. Point blank refused to deliver even though I did not make any mistake they did. The attitude was awful also, just couldn’t have cared less. I have to pay someone to drive 2 hours for me now and also my carpenter to remove the knobs and refit the new ones. Very unfair when they could just have been courteous after they made a mistake and had them delivered and I would have paid the carpenter.

Extremely Dissatisfied with Product and Customer Service

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with BPM Supplies. My partner and I were in the process of renovating our house and decided to purchase Stone Grey SPC Flooring from BPM Supplies for a total of 50 square meters. We were excited about this flooring after seeing the sample and the images on their website. However, our excitement turned into frustration and disappointment.

Upon laying the flooring, we were shocked to find extreme colour and shade variances among the boards. The actual product looked nothing like the sample we received or what was showcased on the website. This was a complete mismatch and not at all what we had expected. We immediately contacted BPM Supplies and attached photos of the problem for their review.

The customer service experience started with a glimmer of hope, as we received a response from David at BPM Supplies. However, that glimmer quickly faded as we went back and forth with David via email. Despite providing clear evidence of the issue, it seemed that BPM Supplies was more interested in passing the blame than finding a solution. The supplier's claim that the extreme colour variations were part of the design was baffling and certainly not what we had signed up for.

Our disappointment was further exacerbated when the proposed solution was to swap out only the darker boards, leaving us with a flooring that still did not match our expectations. We pushed for a proper resolution, as we had contractors on site and could not afford further delays. After several rounds of emails and phone calls, we were told that the manager was on holiday and could not address the issue until Monday.

The back-and-forth communication continued, with David at BPM Supplies seemingly reluctant to acknowledge the severity of the problem. Eventually, we decided to sort the boards ourselves and requested a full replacement of the order with boards that matched the intended purchase. Even after this request, we were met with resistance, and it took multiple emails and three trips to their premises in Portlaoise to finally arrange for the replacement.

The whole ordeal left a sour taste in our mouths. The lack of urgency, accountability, and proper customer service demonstrated by BPM Supplies was truly disappointing. As a result, our renovation project faced unnecessary delays, and we were left feeling frustrated and unheard.

During my last visit to Portlaoise to collect the remaining floorboards, the owner of the business confronted us. Unfortunately, rather than focusing on fulfilling the resolution as we had previously agreed, he seemed more interested in exacerbating the situation. It appeared he was reluctant to acknowledge the discrepancy between the product I purchased and the product I received. Instead, his primary concern seemed to be centered around potential financial losses stemming from this situation.

I strongly caution anyone considering BPM Supplies for their flooring needs to think twice. Our experience highlights the importance of not only the quality of the product but also the responsiveness and willingness of the company to stand behind their promises. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend BPM Supplies and would advise others to explore alternative options.

Screwed up an order

Screwed up an order, I told them the minute I noticed, they said they'd fix it, said it 2 more times to them they said it was fixed, order arrived wrong after a month of waiting and nothing they can do

If I could give Anthony eleven out of…

If I could give Anthony eleven out of ten I would. From start to finish it was a great experience. Having visited similar stores I would recommend starting with BPM. Anthony gave great advice on doors, handles and hinges and held them for four weeks for me until my carpenter was available. I returned extra hinges that I thought I might need and I was refunded no problem. Take a bow Anthony and BPM. Joe.

Shocking Service

Received a damaged door from this company and they point blank refused to replace it. It was delivered a week before the carpenter arrived to fit it and their excuse was that the complaint should have been made less than 48 hours after delivery. Buyer beware if you are not using product immediately.

Order 5392 was processed correctly on…

Order 5392 was processed correctly on time, so I trusted them and placed a larger order 5781. This took 21 days for delivery and the order was wrong. Apparently I should pay "my carpenter to cut the item to the size or ordered" Or "wait another week or so for the right" thing to arrive. Very poor. I needed the right stuff i ordered, on time, a week ago.
