Measure very carefully, the 36-40" is more like 26-30" so size up two sizes.

I bought the MetaGrip Thumb Brace at the recommendation of my Occupational Therapist, to provide support and reduce the pain of arthritis in my thumb joint.
Positives:
Lightweight, easy to use, somewhat discreet (i.e., not bulky or obnoxiously bright colors).
It immediately reduced the pain of my arthritic thumb. It didn’t completely resolve it, but I feel better when I wear it.
Negatives:
Durability. The straps are simple, but the Hook and Loop fasteners (usually referred to be the brand name Velcro©) have lost their effectiveness--their ability to stay attached is becoming increasingly compromised, rendering the brace ineffective. I have only owned it approximately 4 months, which is an unacceptable length of time for such a device. Your website even says “This highly durable thumb brace for women and men with arthritis creates a custom fit that is comfortable and designed to stabilize your joint,” which has not been my experience at all.

Value. At this price point ($114.99), and the durability statement on the website, I do not think this is a good value for my money. I would expect this to last at least two years, being worn every day and washed in cold water on the gentle cycle (as recommended on your website).

The service is whatever. In the age of Amazon and PayPal it’s suboptimal. But the brace really helps the specific problem of the SLAC wrist, and yet it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything. I can’t stand anything on my wrists including wristwatches, but I wear this all day and forget it’s on. It doesn’t eliminate the pain or disability but it does meaningfully improve it.

Great product, exactly what the doctor ordered. Seems to be helping and easy to even sleep with.

The brace is extremely supportive, and helps with my lumbar pain, especially with promoting pelvic stability and relieving some stress off L5. The metal bars can be easily customized to fit the curvature of my spine. The brace is well worth the price: it provides stability without severely restricting movement. I love it!

I have been wearing a Push Metagrip Brace on my right thumb since June and I am so pleased with how it has helped manage my pain! I finally ordered one for my left hand a few weeks ago and am so glad that I did! I have recommended them to multiple friends!
