Pretty woman moment

My husband and i visited New milton Bradbeers perfume section.The shop assisstant said Hello to us ,continued to do what she was doing and never offered any assistance to us .A minute after us a very wealthy looking elderly couple came into the shop. The shop assistant(young girl) jumped and went to serve them immediately.We were speaking foreign language and probably did not look promising customers ,that can afford to buy perfume.All we were looking for, was advice and guidance which one to buy. Sorry but i was forced to spend my money elsewhere!!!
We were very dissapointed from the service!!!
You should treat all your costumers equally!!!!

Delay after delay and no communication

I've now had 3 delays to my furniture, currently running at two months late.
No urgency or communication from the team unless I chase them.
I'll give them one more week and then I'm cancelling.

The shop has great furniture but the aftersales really let's them down. Don't recommend and won't be going back.

Excellent makeovers with Lauren (YSL)

We booked a mother and daughter makeover session at short notice and Lauren (of YSL) couldn't have made the experience more fun, enjoyable and informative, especially for us non-makeup wearers! She was very kind with a wonderful sense of humour and we came away feeling great and more confident about what make-up to use in the future. Thank you Lauren.

So impressed with the team here

So impressed with the team here. Took my 3 year old for her haircut, who has previously found haircuts a challenge. All staff were welcoming and gave just the right level of attention to my daughter. I really appreciate the set up in a slightly quieter section of the salon and a booster seat provided. Stacey who cut her hair was superb, making my daughter feel at ease, providing a special gown to turn her into a ballerina and a sticker/option for sweets at the end! Will definitely be back and highly recommend this salon to others.

On my arrival

On my arrival, I stopped at the Clinique section intending to purchase a nail varnish and explore additional makeup products. The sales assistant was occupied with texting on her phone, so I said I would return later. The nail varnish was put aside for me.
At the end of my visit, during which I received outstanding assistance from other staff members, I returned to the beauty counter to pay for my purchase and had hoped to explore the make-up however didn't bother. Unfortunately, the same assistant was once again unhelpful. When I attempted to pay in cash—using coins amounting to £18—she hesitated and insisted they were not legal tender, directing me to a bank to have them exchanged. The banker assistant confirmed there was no issue with the currency.
I found this experience disappointing, particularly given the contrast with the professionalism by other store employees. While I appreciate the service provided by the majority of your staff, this incident has deterred me from making future purchases at the beauty counter.
I wanted to share my feedback in the hope that it contributes to the continued improvement of customer service standards within your store. I now know from other comments on this site, I should have looked for a manager however I was on my out, going to the bank, somewhat in shock as I was sure pound coins should have been accepted.

Calm and professional customer experience with great corporate social responsiblity, may be a bit pricey but has a furniture price promise

I recently decided to scrap our 2-seater sofa as it had become very uncomfortable, so my wife suggested that we look to see what Bradbeers furniture shop in Hedge End had available. It's high quality top brands so expensive (for us), but also has some good clearance items.

We have been in the store before, most recently our son bought 2 reclining armchairs at an amazing clearance price. We also recently were choosing a new rug, but on that occasion ended up buying elsewhere.

This time, however, we found ourselves looking at top end electric recliners from Celebrity.

The store has a real air of calmness about it - it's not exactly busy. What particularly I like about Bradbeers Hedge End is the gentle friendliness of the staff. In this case the salesperson (G.) patiently allowed us to experience the product and explained the features and options (there are a lot of choices).

A product of this type is very much a considered purchase and one where you have to make the right choices, so the no pressure sales style is extremely helpful. G. was really lovely.

We haven't made a purchase decision yet
so will be coming back as we have to investigate the options, but the staff at this branch and particularly G. are a credit to the company.

We like the ethos of the company particularly the Corporate Social Responsibility through the Smith Bradbeer Trust and direct initiatives like Global Sanctuary Foundation and a local cancer support charity.

There's a lot to like about Bradbeers, the commitment to excellence in customer service and its ethos, but they aren't necessarily the most competitive on price.

I look on it in the same way as Fairtrade - you may pay a price premium, but you are investing your custom in a socially positive way.

Update: The reply from Bradbeers is really helpful. Now that I know there is a furniture price promise, I don't see price as an impediment to placing an order - this is really good news, thank you.

Missed sale

This is the 2nd time I have been to Bradbeers in Salisbury in the last month. I went to the Estée Lauder counter, and the assistant was over at the Chanel counter talking for around 5 minutes in the end I gave up and left the store.

I went back to the store today as I needed to get a bottle of Youth Dew, for my Nana I couldn’t find the Estée Lauder, assistant when I walked round I found her yet again talking to the Assistant in the Chanel Counter.

I went and had a look round you’re store on the way out walked passed the Estée Lauder counter and the assistant was still at the Chanel counter

In the end I left your store in Salisbury and went to a competitor, if your Estée Lauder assistant spent less time talking with the other counters you wouldn’t have lost a sale.

Best ever customer service

Consistently Disrespectful Service and Unprofessional Staff – Will Never Return

I am beyond disappointed with the experience I’ve consistently had at this store. Every time I visit, my mother is followed by staff for no apparent reason. This behavior is unacceptable and blatantly disrespectful. It creates a hostile and uncomfortable environment, making us feel as though we’re being profiled for simply shopping.

To make matters worse, the staff are consistently rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. There is absolutely no effort to create a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s clear that customer service is not a priority at this establishment. Despite my professionalism and politeness during my visits, I am treated with the same dismissive and unpleasant attitude each time.

As someone who works with high-profile clients, I hold businesses to a high standard, and this store has failed to meet even the most basic expectations of respect and courtesy. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, respect, and decency displayed here.

I will no longer be shopping at this store, nor will I recommend it to anyone. In fact, I strongly urge others to avoid this establishment altogether. Businesses like this do not deserve loyal customers, and until significant improvements are made, I see no reason to return.

A lovely department store let down by the toilets.

A lovely department store, let down only by its toilets! I visited for the first time in November and remember being impressed by the ladies toilets, but today was a different matter. The floors did not look like they had been cleaned in a very long time and the soap dispensers were all empty. What has happened? Apart from this the store, restaurant and staff were all very pleasant.

I was refused a refund on a product…

I was refused a refund on a product which was not suitable. The original product had been paid for in cash and I provided the receipt but they said I could only have a credit note. Didn’t find staff very helpful when I looked to exchange item for something else either. Won’t be going there again even though I live local to Salisbury.

Wonderful experience.

We’ve just had the most wonderful experience at Bradbeers Salisbury at the ladies fashion department. Our 16 year old daughter was looking for a dress and she could not have been feeling more special. What lovely staff you have there. Congratulations for being such a fabulous superstore!

From the first contact, initial survey, packing up and unloading the two Richards never stopped. They could have not been more helpful. I have no hesitation to recommend Bradbeers as the removal company of choice.

Beauty Studio of Bradbeers

I recently used Beauty Studio of Bradbeers and had a very disappointing experience. I was given a an end of day pedicure which felt rushed. My cutical was cut and bled. My toes were painted and I was asked to wait in the reception area whilst they dried whilst everyone paid their bills and could see me. It was really embarrassing.
