Braeburn Home Care.
Braeburn Home Care have been supporting my aunt to continue independent living in her own home for approximately 6 months. The support she receives and enjoys is invaluable. Jess and Tiff provide my aunt with the practicalities of keeping her home clean and caring for her elderly cat, but equally important are the times they sit with her and chat, have a drink with her and watch a bit of TV they talk about and share a giggle with her. During a recent companion visit the lights were flickering. My aunt was quite anxious as she didn't know if it was just her home or something else. Jess took it upon herself see if my aunt's neighbour knew anything, but he wasn't in. Jess then arranged with her team leader to stay for another hour to provide reassurance to my aunt, rather than just leave her on her own worried. This, for me, is going over and above what might expected. When my aunt's neighbour returned home he advised Jess that contractors had started work in the area, causing the problems with the electrics. He also texted me to say how good Jess is.
