Moving away from my support network to start a new job in Hampshire on my own, Emma and John were the best landlords I could have asked for. I felt so welcomed into the house from the day I moved in - everything was in immaculate condition and it was in an ideal location. Emma and John take care to ensure everybody in the house is a good fit, and my housemates and I got on well from day 1 and socialised lots! Emma and John are supportive, attentive and proactive about any issues you might have, and I always felt extremely safe and like I was in good hands. Living at 29 LDR quickly felt like a home to me - I moved out due to a change of circumstances but wouldn't hesitate to go with Braecroft Properties again if I moved back to Hampshire. Thank you for an excellent 6 months :)

Arrived in the UK Feb 2023 and Braecroft Company within a week managed to offer me a room in one of their houses. They are very selective in who they are letting the rooms. I lived with working professionals in my house which gave me the opportunity to socialise as I was not local. Perfect conditions in the houses , fully equipped , safe and clean. The services have been ideal. Would definitely recommend Braecroft company, and if my path leads me again in Hampshire, Braecroft company , Emma and John, are the ones that I will search for accommodation. Thank you for this amazing 1 and a half year.

Emma and John have been great landlords ever since I moved into 29LDR in 2017. They have been very helpful throughout and pretty much go out of their way to make the living experience like no other. By far the best landlords I've ever had.

I had a great time living at 1 GHL for a year and a half. Emma was really helpful with sorting any problems very promptly. My housemates were very welcoming and we had some good times together. Additionally, having bills included was really great as it meant we didn’t have to worry about paying bills on top. I only left to follow my dream to New Zealand. Thanks for everything Emma.

During my time at 21 LDR Emma has been nothing but lovely and always happy to help when anything comes up. I had a couple recurring issues in my room and bathroom due to heavy rainfall we’d been having and Emma was always around as soon as possible to try and fix the issue and make me as comfortable as possible. She’s a real life super hero!

My time at GHL has been absolutely amazing. I remember Emma showing me around and saying that some of her tenants had been living in her houses for 3+ years, that sounded like an incredibly long time. Yet, here I am now moving on after four and a half years! This is down to Emma and John being such fabulous landlords. They are consistently and continuously there for their tenants. That includes maintenance checks, safety checks, advice or tips on the area and activities, as well as the thoughtful treats they leave the house on occasion.

Over my time in the house, it really became my home. I have had a number of housemates that have become real friends. Emma and John consider housemates carefully, ensuring everyone will be a good fit for the house and this had led to countless great chats, nights in and days out with housemates that I don’t believe I would have had, had I not chosen GHL.

Emma and John are admittedly the best landlords I’ve came across while living in England. They have been considerate, kind and always available when I needed them. Their accommodations are all high quality and with every comfort needed (including weekly cleaners, gardener etc).

I had an issue with the moving out date due to the coronavirus situation and they both went above and beyond to accommodate me without even an extra cost.

I would 100% recommend them as private landlords as personally I have been more than happy, grateful and thankful for my stay at 21 LDR. Have made great memories there!

Emma and John are excellent landlords who are very attentive to how they can make their houses feel so homely. They are also friendly and approachable as people. A pleasure to chat & interact with.

I was nervous about going into a house share having lived with friends previously. I needn’t have been - I have gained friends and had excellent experiences whilst living at 29 LDR.

If you are looking for a house share in the Fareham area I highly recommend and would look no further.

I originally decided to move to a house share to be closer to work and save a bit of money. I thought it would only be for a few months, but Emma and John are such fantastic landlords and the house was so nice that I didn’t want to leave! I have only left after 3 years to relocate to another city for work. I am genuinely sad to have left, as Emma and John made the experience so amazing and have really gone above and beyond, especially during harder times. I have never had landlords that even appeared in person, let alone able to chat to easily about anything and everything!

It’s the added extras that make the real difference - in addition to the quick and efficient response to when things need fixing - like tips on where to go and things to do in the local area, the extra treats that appear in the kitchen and just the security of knowing there is someone close by and just a phone call or message away for things that are simple issues to more personal ones.

GHL is a great house, with modern decor and furnishings, cleaned to a high standard and with all bills in the rent, including business broadband. And of course the thing that really helps is having amazing housemates. You can be assured that Emma and John take particular care when choosing housemates that they will fit in with the rest of the house. I have definitely made some friends for life over the last 3 years!

Thoughtful landlords, a spacious and well-equipped house, and friendly and welcoming housemates; I can highly recommend Braecroft Properties to anyone relocating to the area.

Moving to a new area (in my case, for work) can be stressful and even daunting at times. You want to make sure you pick the right place to live, specially if you intend to stay there for a while.

I had my fair share of house/flat views in the Fareham area, but none can compare to what Emma and John had to offer. Less than 24h after viewing the house I messaged Emma saying I would take the room. Almost two years later, I can say that I am very glad I did! (Now, working remotely, I'm not as restricted location-wise, and have decided to move closer to friends)

Emma and John are the most professional landlords I have ever dealt with. The house I stayed in was well-kept (they take good care of their properties), and if there were ever any issues Emma was always quick to deal with them!

If you are moving to the area, and want to know that you would be living in a great house share (in every aspect!), make sure to send Emma an email.

I moved down to Fareham 2 and a half years ago to start my dream job, little did I know that I was going to be moving into such a great house with fantastic housemates that are now friends for life. The houses are really nicely furnished and are stocked with everything you’ll need from plates to a hoover and even a place to store your bike. The location was perfect also, a stones throw from the centre of Fareham and the train station round the corner. Emma and John are great landlords and no issue/query is too small to sort out, often resolved within a matter of hours.

During the recent lockdown living in the house was a real godsend! Gamesnights, BBQs, Cocktail making and the constant board games kept us all sane
The fact that all bills are included in the monthly rent is great, no need to worry about forgetting if you’ve paid the water bill every month!

I wouldn’t have stayed for 2 and a half years if it wasn’t fantastic!

Emma and John have been fantastic landlords right from the get go. They guide you through the process to get you moved in hassle free and help in any way they can. The houses are a great standard and well equipped. If ever there was a problem, it was seen to and resolved efficiently.
Overall I have enjoyed my time with Braecroft Properties, and would highly recommend to anyone.

I moved in a year ago when I started my new job. Throughout the process the landlady, Emma, was very helpful and provided me with plenty of information for a quick and smooth transition. The whole process was very straightforward.

During my time living here, Emma and John have been great at dealing with any and all problems I have had and they have been quickly resolved. They keep in contact as well to make sure everything is ok and provide us with ongoing useful information. They have made me feel incredibly welcomed. The house itself is fantastic and to a very high standard, and the housemates are all very friendly as well.

In addition to this, they have been great during the Covid19 lockdown period, and I couldn't think of anything more they could have done. They have made this whole situation stress free and straightforward.

I would highly recommend Braecroft Properties to anyone needing a home and doesn't want the fuss of needing to deal with multiple bills, all for a very reasonable price, along with great housemates, and a great landlady and landlord.

Emma has been by far the best Landlord I have ever had. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always so thoughtful about everyone in the house.

I stayed in a Braecroft property for 6 months whilst on graduate placement on the south coast.

Having had a horrendous experience with a previous landlord I was (and suppose still am) sceptical of landlords. However Emma and John’s professionalism is commendable and they really do go the extra mile to ensure all housemates are happy and comfortable.

The house was always warm and boosting heating wasn’t an issue, Emma came round with house Christmas gifts, provided a case of beer and some moving in essentials which was a brilliant touch.

Again anxieties of not receiving a full deposit were subsided very quickly. Full deposit released on the day of moving out, no ridiculousness for taking fees for non existent cleaning (unlike most landlords). Also no reference fees for future rent.

Honestly a really positive experience and would highly recommend to anybody moving to the south coast.
