Got invited to join Branch via a link. Link took me to website that had bad coding to get app. Contacted support@branchapp expressing the issue. Got a Zendesk automated canned reply. I can not trust a company that responds to an expressed issue with a smokescreen.

Genuinely the worst thing to ever happen at my job. I’m a server and it so incredibly frustrating, stressful and inconvenient to have to turn my money in that’s already made and IN MY HAND. To wait for it to be transferred. They say “your money, your way!” But it isn’t really. If it was my money my way, I wouldn’t have to hand my money to someone else. It would be easier to access, and I wouldn’t get CHARGED to withdraw it. 8 free withdrawals per month before upcharging? What a pathetic, scamming, inconsiderate and inconvenient joke. If anything, it’s my money, THEIR way. I hate everything about Branch, I might have to find a new job because of it. And I’m not the only one who feels this way. So many other servers are upset because of this app.

My rating is really -0. It's no wonder that this financial institution has not been audited and shut down a long time ago. I have several issues against them but this most recent one is the lowest ever. I'm a senior citizen and this company Branch who is probably run by Heckle and Jeckle or Bonnie and Clyde, has gotten a hold of my account and froze my debit card and now my account without cause, call, email, or any type of advisement. When I asked them the purpose , every single one of them has declared they don't know and don't have that type of information . What they recommend to me is to sit tight and keep my eyes on the email. Now today is day 4 that I've been without access to my bank account and funds. And the best, professional but not professional, response they could conjure up is to tell me to sit tight and keep my eyes on the email. I have been reaching out to them for days, around the clock ( they have an open phone line 24/7) only for them to play the escalating game with me. The people who are assigned to be support staff are merely note takers. They don't care, they don't rush, and they do whatever it is they feel like doing. You talk to these people and they don't even know why it's been blocked and don't even know who to talk to in order to unblock it. I told them that I have prescriptions that need to be paid for and up. I also advised that some of these meds have to do with my heart and should not be skipped. You would think that they cared. Not at all ! Why would they. I wrote I wrote on the Then why do you exist as far as support staff. At this present time I am at the level that legal charges are going to be held against this fraudulent financial institution. A bunch of robbers and thieves to say the least. Whatever you do, hair don't bank with these dishonest bunch of renegades who fumble over themselves and cause major damage to the lives of those that trust them. It's not worth taking a chance and somebody should make them accountable.

Trash app...been 4 weeks and my issue is not solved..you can only talk to robots in chat and they take for ever to connect you..first they said it's my address then they said it's my name they changed the name and it still has issues..if it wasn't for my employer I would not be using this app period

Only one star because a negative star isn't an option. Week 1 card compromised funds frozen. Why would any company use this as a means to pay people

The customer support is horrible they dismiss many issues until you get fed up with trying to fix them, the phone number is an automated message system and to reach a real person it takes forever.

This is the worst bank I’ve ever HAD to use. I’m 57 years old and have been banking ever since I was 16. My employer made us get this account in order for us to have our paychecks deposited. To be able to get our funds we had to order this absurd Branch card. We could transfer the funds to our own financial institutions, which would take 3-5 business days transfer the funds or instantly to another debit card, but with crazy transfer fees. Needless to say I have resigned from the company I work for because of this bank and I will be closing this account once my final paycheck hits. My company pays on Wednesdays and I can’t understand why our deposits post in the evenings, usually between 4-5 pm est. That’s absurd, especially when it’s an official payday. The main reason for this post and review is due to a transaction I made on Thursday, January 2, 2025, that is still pending. I visited the Galleria Palms in Florida and the hotel charged me for my room, it was a one night stay, with one transaction and then made a separate transaction for a $100 authorization hold. The funds were held in case of incidentals and room damages. I’ve never had this happen where the transaction is STILL pending as of January 12, 2025, the date of this review. All other pending charges used on my Capital One debit and my USAA debit cleared within 3-4 days. I did a chat with a representative and he said it could take up to 15 days for a transaction to clear. My question is WHYYYYY? Like I said, I will NEVER use this bank again until the day I die! If I get a job offer that makes employees use this bank, I will decline the offer. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a so called bank. This can’t be a real bank. I’m an Army veteran and have traveled the world, I’ve never seen nor experienced anything like this.

Scammer digital wallet stolen money from users
I was work spark
Now branch take my money and app not working
Branch gets 1 star because that's the lowest allowed. Worst financial institution on the planet. 3 times they locked my card without telling me why. Then the process for them to verify you takes forever. The 1st time this happened, it was locked for 4 days. The only source of income banking I had. Literally ended up homeless over this. Stay away from this so called bank. They're scammers ....PERIOD

This is the worst company every, my IC job decided this was what was best for the contractors (of course no one asked us contractors what we think about this farce of a company)
There's no real Customer Service (all you get is a very terrible FAQ/Help web page and a chat bot that knows nothing, not even the business that they conduct (at least train your bot!) That maybe why it takes them over a week to respond to all the bad complaints.
They charge a lot to do an instant transfer, I get it your terrible company have to make money but must you take so much? to transfer $400 it cost over $20! apparently the company I contract for is getting a good deal on this cost (yeah sure). I feel companies like this are just working hand in hand with bigger businesses to help fleece the people just trying to get by.
Then they boast getting paid 2 days early than regular banks but to put this money in a regular bank by their free/no fee way (ACH) takes 3 to 5 business days so you're not getting paid earlier, you just don't know when you're getting paid unless you pay for it.

First off they have no phone number in Toronto to call. They have a link to leave an audio message to no avail. All I want is some info on a chair I would like to buy. How can you possibly deal with a company with no phone number, let alone after sale service like warranty. Caveat Emptor
