They are not user-friendly and they don't really care about the people who use them. I had used Branch years ago for a different position forgot all about it, start a new position tried to sign up the branch card it wouldn't let me. So then I tried to sign it up on the one I had before it still won't let me. And they won't give me any time. As to when they'll be able to fix it so if the company can't pay me they won't let me work there and I wouldn't want to work there without getting paid anyway so branch is preventing me from working at a job I accepted branch is causing me issues with paying my bills because of their policies I would rethink ever using any job that uses branch cuz if you switch you won't be able to change it it's one and done you get one time to use a branch card and after that you're screwed they suck
Branch is the type of bank that uses predatory fees to make their money. The most absurd are the ATM fees. The ATM itself charges a fee. These days its usually $3. THEN Branch will also charge a $2 fee. That means I am paying $5 per ATM use. Even with in-network ATMs, after 8 withdrawals per month, they charge a $2 fee per withdrawal. This is predatory and should never be a thing. Not to mention that in quite a number of locations, even finding a "free" ATM can be difficult. Lets also not forget the obvious that most people who use an ATM for cash need it soon or for a specific purpose and likely do not have the time or ability needed to drive extra distance to find an ATM that's "free".

The app used to be okay, but now it is difficult if not impossible to transfer funds for free. It 'double checks' whether you want your money instantly, then keeps hanging up and going into a loop that asks again if you are sure you don't want your money instantly. Instant transfer for a fee works flawlessly. Hmm... coincidence? They already keep your money and invest it for free for several days. An interest-free loan from the you, the user! Greedy and manipulative.
Edit: I had to delete and reinstall the app, then re-authorize my bank account (same one I was using before). All told it took several extra days but is now working okay. Added one more star.

They're really unresponsive and take that to their advantage I had illegal,fraudulent transactions coming out of my account they would not stop it or help me in any way. they damaged it further .they not only gave the money from my account after telling them it was fraudulent they then damaged my debit card,delaying further my ability to be shed of this bank!horrible customer service. Bad banking practices.unresponsive and make matters even worse for customer.3 years and now in two short months they damage me for NO REASON.I do not recommend.

I signed up for an Uber Pro card with branch bank. When creating a new account with Branch, it failed to connect to my Uber account. Now Uber can’t see my branch account or my card so I can’t use it with Uber. Uber says Branch has to fix it. Branch says it’s an Uber problem and now nobody will help me or even reply to my emails for almost TWO WEEKS

Your agent was fine but the way Branch handles specific situations is not and should be reprimanded immediately. After I had my money taken from my account I was told there was nothing you could do because that money was always there and was never taken out. The charge was for hotel incidentals. I confirmed with the hotel that they cleared the money to be returned into my account and even tho I saw, with my own two eyes, that it was immediately subtracted from my account, it never was redeposited like it should have been. I know for a fact that my money never went back into my account. This is frustrating because I had another incidental charge for another night on a different card with a different institution and I received the incidentals back onto that card and didn’t have any issues! Since it’s a pending charge that they claim had “cleared” it’s not on my account statement so there’s no trace of this occurring. Why did I have no issues with my Chime card and only had issues with Branch? It’s appalling that branch would steal money from their customers, cover it up, and then not offer anything in return for compensation for the absolute headache this has been.

This is horrible I was forced to get branch because of Tippy.I can't even withdraw my money from Tippy to Branch.Because Branch codes will not send me a code to get into my Branch account.I talked to customer service about it a couple of them.No one can help.Its annoying cause I can't get to my money in my family and I really need it.We are hungry can't eat cause I can't get to my money.so sad.

Awful! Was led to this app because I signed up to be a courier with a company. I have had nothing but issues with this app cant pass a certain point in it. Literately wasted my time. Customer service was ok but its been so discouraging that i canceled the whole process to be a courier for the other company because of this junk.They insist with this BS. From what I read from other reviews looks like there are a lot issues with Branch so I moved on from them and the courier company that uses it. Just awful!

How are they still in business. I came to Trust pilot to see if anyone was experiencing the same issues as me. I see there are so many and they have poor reviews. I have been cleared for work and unfortunately my employer uses Branchapp to process work payments. Over 1 month now I have not been able to work because every step of the way Branchapp fails at the one job they have. They cant verify my drivers license, honestly was going to list all the issue I have dealing with this company but there are too many. I finally got to onboard on there terrible app and for the last 12 days they are still reviewing my info. The app regularly freezes and they don't know how to fix it and give conflicting information. They are not a bank, but trusted with our money. I’m a single mother and this is my only form of income.
Card was charged leaving me with only 50 dollars left. Transaction shows as pending so I can’t dispute but the funds are gone. Customer service can’t help but wants my last 4 my birthday and they can’t verify my account any other way. I think this is a scam. I am now out money for an unknown time. I have to wait ten days for a new card. This is the one of the worst cards I’ve ever had. I certainly hope the companies I work for change soon.
I’m uncertain if there’s legal course here but I’ll be sure to find out.

They have to be some sort of scam, I recently started working somewhere where I have to use Branch but they have someone using my information fraudulently therefore my paycheck has been going into “my account” that I never opened it’s been a month and I still haven’t got my paychecks and they still can’t help me this is ridiculous and they should not be in business, I will be seeking legal advise. Oh an customer service horrible they don’t even have managers their whole business model just sounds like a scam.

Amazingly terrible customer service. Over 12 business days to change an email address and it’s still not done. No one at customer support can actually help or do anything. Everything done through email and even when you ask to speak with someone other than a person that answers the phone after being on hold for 45 minutes they can not even do that because they are in a call center somewhere. This app is terrible and was forced to get it. Do not use branch if you have a choice. Update. It is now another 7 days later and still no contact from branch on resolving the issue. The reply they sent is more of the same. This is a horribly run app that claims to be a banking app. I have never seen such terrible customer service let alone from what is supposed to be a “financial institution” their words not mine.

I originally got the app due to the job that I had. I was a delivery driver and the only way to get paid, at the time, was this online account.I honestly didn't mind it at the beginning, but noticed a few things in the past few months or so. When you have an issue or problem, the automated system sends an email,as most apps do. However, it doesn't seem to get resolved in a timely manner. I only use it now, for the option of the savings that they started about a year ago or so. Other than that, I don't like to use it as much as I used to. I have an account with a bank that actually has an office and you can go speak with an actual person.
