Stay far away from this company. Their mistakes become your problem , costing you money. They make no attempt to help fix issues they caused, just get the run around from their staff, every conversation is like its the first time .
Bread Financial may be the worse ever
Since Bread Financial acquired Comenity, it has been a train wreck. New fees, minimum interest on zero balances, accounts closing with no way to pay the bill, etc.
I am closing out my accounts, but even that's a hassle. Because, somehow, the customer service reps for a credit card company don't know what a payoff amount is!!! And their way of dealing with questions they don't know is to just hang up. Since it happened to me yesterday and today, I assume someone is training them to respond in that way.

Horrible Alphaeon credit card! Dismal customer service.
In this day of automatic payments, Alphaeon could not process my payments two months in a row. The disclosure says that it might take up to 2 months to arrange an automatic payment. Well, my grocery store uses ACH instantaneously. Breadfinancial seems to make its money from late fees that they initiate (whether or not the consumer has paid!). Would not recommend this company.

Stay away! Terrible customer service. Once they have your money there are so many rules and fees to try to get get it back out, the little bit of extra interest is not worth the headache.

Bread Financial refuses to use the Medicare debit card provided by my insurer. They cannot provide any rationale for this policy. If you have Medicare Advantage, avoid Bread Financial; you will not be able to use your hearing aid benefit if you buy HAs from Jabra.
Lexus Pursuit Signature CC
This company manages the Lexus Pursuit Signature Visa Card. FORGET IT! They are the ABSOLUTE WORST. The customer service is beyond incompetent, rude and just plain checked out. Brand new card that I can't get to register. 11 phone calls, transferred twice to the "IT" department...they don't have one. AND no one cares. They get a negative one million from me.

Unclear Reward System and Poor Customer Service
I just had a horrible experience with Breadcashback Amex Credit Card. I had $220 reward, which I used to pay my balance. I paid the rest of my balance so I thought I was set. Turned out, two days after my due date they sent me notification that I had a late payment. I called the customer service and learned that my reward didn't automatically paid my balance, it would be credited the next month after I redeemed to my balance. And the worse part, I got charged $30 for the late fee even though that was not my fault and I paid my balance right away. I was mad, and told the customer service to close my account. Then I realized that the customer service mentioned I lost my reward for closing my account. I asked her to delay the closing, but she said it already closed and I got nothing. The customer service was human, but she served just like a machine; serving a customer with no consideration. I feel like this credit card just tricked me, made me pay a late fee and got away from giving me my reward. Breadfinancial cannot be trusted, especially with their poor customer service.

I do not recommend the Bread Cashback Amex Rewards Card and I have ceased making any further transactions with the card. They sound great with 2% cashback rewards but the company is a joke. I had to call to get my rewards sent to my bank account. They don't offer online redemption for direct deposit or check issuance. I spoke to 3 people for a month and every time I was told to wait a little longer when the site says it should take no more than 10 business days. The last person I spoke to informed me that the previous 2 people never requested my rewards, even after I gave them sensitive information such as my bank account number. I'm beyond frustrated. In a world with a plethora of credit cards, why choose one like Bread Cashback Amex which doesn't properly train employees or value their customers when you can use a credit card company that does?

Terrible company got hacked with Google play call company to report the hack and a Jamilah implied that I was using card to make fraudulence purchase and she insistent about the fact that I was making the charges. This is a person being paid to handle issues, and when I called to get that taken care of. So instead, I paid $200.00 just to get the card cancelled. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE!!

Had this Gamestop credit card for years by comentity bank then was bought or switched to out by bread financial either was way was making dispute on a $100 item never recieved nor showed any confirmation of pay only $100 charge gamestop them selves said call right away get refund so I called and woman was hard to understand with accent says nothing she can do for me and would not transfer me to supervisor or someone could help after asking 3 times she hung up me!! Lost a customer who spent 1000s with 3 credit cards through them
I have a Famous Footwear, Ulta and CARE credit card who are partnered with bread financial which used to be comentity bank. I submitted a payment through the online website (Famous Footwears bread financial website) and it went through for my bank account but they also tried to charge my other card on my account saved information for the same amount as an autopay when I DO NOT HAVE AUTOPAY. I spoke to someone on the phone who said that they would not refund the $30 return check charge for the automatic payment that tried to pull out of my other account even though they admitted I didn't have automatic payments and that they didn't know how this could have happened. On all three of my bread Financial accounts once you submit a payment you cannot make another payment until that one clears, you can only edit the payment amount or the card/bank you are paying from. I told the person named Michael who was the higher up of the original person I spoke with, that exact information about how the payments work and he said he doesn't know what happened it might have been a glitch in the system or something went wrong but they cannot refund the $30 return check charge. He said the only thing that he could do is open up a dispute and I don't get to submit any information or screenshots with that dispute only whatever he typed and I guarantee it's going to get declined. I'm canceling all of my cards with them, do not waste your time ever since bread Financial took over comenity Bank it's been awful customer service!!! Over $30 on a fraudulent charge because I did not have auto pay set up, the payment for both the one that went through and the one that kept being attempted on my other card were both submitted at the same exact time and date which is literally impossible unless it was a "glitch" on their end. Convenient glitch.. bullshit.

Still no resolution to a problem costing me over $2,000.00
I made a purchase one month ago using Bread Financial offered by Nikon USA. It has been the worse experience I have ever had using credit for a purchase. Several emails and phone calls with Nikon customer support and Bread Financial customer support has resulted in the entire order now being cancelled or returned. But Bread Financial believes I still owe almost $600.00 and the downpayment of $1,523.02 they took from my checking account a month ago still has not refunded! A MONTH AGO and I don't know how to get these people to listen to me and refund my money. I do not recommend using the business. Their customer service is worthless.
