My great experience with BreakintoTech…

I’m 26 from Gloucestershire looking to move to London into a tech sales role.
I felt stuck in banking and wanted to transition into a career that could generate me and an organisation a lot more revenue.
I joined Break Into Tech because I needed a clear roadmap, structured support, and guidance from people who had already done it.
Within 3 months of joining the program, I landed my first role as a SDR with a great organisation in central London. My offer was around £57k OTE. The program helped me build confidence, improve my CV/ LinkedIn and interview skills, and ultimately reach the potential I knew I had.
Thank you to Bilal and the team for helping me through this transition. I could not recommend the course more!

I’m 22 and recently landed a role in tech sales after completing the Break Into Tech Accelerator.

I’m 22 and recently landed a role in tech sales after completing the Break Into Tech Accelerator.

Before joining, I was a final year university student studying business, with no direct experience in tech sales. Rather than spending months figuring out the application process on my own, I decided to invest in myself and join BIT to fast track my progress.

The programme helped me build a strong CV and LinkedIn profile, and gave me a clearer structure for approaching applications and interviews. It also pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and take the process more seriously.

After 2 months of consistent effort, I secured a role with a Manchester-based tech company (26k base, 37k uncapped OTE + equity).

During my time in the programme, I could see that it has continued to evolve. The level of support and structure now being offered today appears significantly stronger than what I experienced initially, which is great to see. Breaking into tech takes real effort, but I have confidence the programme will continue improving for students who are willing to stay consistent, work hard and take accountability.

Overall, the team are great and I would recommend this to anyone serious about fast tracking their career in tech sales !!

From Engineering to Tech Sales in a Few Months

I’m in my early 20s and come from an engineering background, but I didn’t have any real experience in tech sales. I knew I wanted to move into a more commercial role with better earning potential, but I had no clear idea how to break into the industry.

Before joining Break Into Tech, I was applying for roles but not getting much success. I wasn’t confident in how to position myself, especially coming from a non-sales background, and I didn’t really understand what companies were looking for in BDR candidates.

I decided to join because I needed structure, guidance, and a clear path into tech sales. After joining the programme, things became a lot more focused. With their help, I was able to land a BDR role within a few months with a £25k base and £34k OTE.

The most valuable parts for me were the CV and LinkedIn support, interview preparation, and understanding how to actually sell myself despite not having direct experience. The accountability and community also helped a lot in staying consistent throughout the process.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Break Into Tech to anyone looking to transition into tech sales, especially if you’re coming from a different background like engineering and don’t know where to start. It gives you a clear roadmap and the support to actually get results.

Progress with structure

I joined Break Into Tech with a couple of years of sales experience across both B2C and some B2B, but was struggling to break into a proper tech sales role. I knew I had the ability, but wasn’t positioning myself in the right way.

The program really helped tighten everything up, from my CV and LinkedIn to how I approached interviews and spoke about my experience. The biggest difference was understanding how to actually sell myself and structure answers in a way that hiring managers in tech expect.

After months of applying and staying consistent, I was able to land an BDR role at an AI company, which was exactly the outcome I was aiming for.

I’d recommend it to anyone serious about getting into tech sales, but like anything, you have to put the work in and stay persistent.

BIT helped me tie a varied career into a marketable narrative.

Hi all, name is Hassan and I’m 25 and like most other recent grads, I’ve spent the last year and a half searching for a job like far too many other people.

I thought I’d done everything right, gone to top unis (LSE anthropology and law, UCL immersive storytelling) with good grades and then trying to make it in the tech space as a developer. Unfortunately, there’s just not a lot happening on the technical development side for people trying to break in. I went to every networking event I could find, invested capital into networking communities too, applied to countless jobs and typed the words coffee chat more times than I care to admit and just nothing happened, even with me getting an internship with the NHS in building them a clinical training programme with VR and AI 🤷‍♂️

I had the right skills on paper, technical and academic, but something was still misssing. This was where joining BIT was transformative. Suggested to me by one of my networking communities, I suddenly signed up for tech sales, something I had a bit of experience of sure but had never considered the actual selling part as a viable career on it’s own before.

When I joined I was still skeptical about the course as well as the industry, but seeing how much knowledge I had access to was a game changer. Everything is categorised in modules, a dummy’s guide even as it was all explained so comprehensively and well. I learnt how to ATS optimise my LinkedIn and CV to start getting interviews, how to actually prepare for the job already (to ace the interviews) as well as a clear breakdown of every stage of interview and likely questions asked and how to prepare. Not to even mention the supportive gcs and regular calls to get questions answered and my material reviewed.

It took me 3-4 weeks to get maybe 15 interviews total including in person ones and assessment days and I’ve now accepted an offer to start at Babri Legal as an SDR. While the salary is a little lower than average at £30 K + OTE, BIT taught me to take a chance on myself and have the humility and insight to recognise that for my long term future, securing a role where the environment for my ramp period (becoming an SDR/BDR from scratch) is excellent, supportive and the product is actually interesting (legal and AI is my background) is the right step as I can convert this into double the salary with this stronger foundation by getting another role in just 9-12 months! This mindset and the faith Bilal,Lara and Maha had me in is perhaps the greatest gift I got from this programme.

I’m someone super reluctant to pay for anything (as George costanza said, why would I pay when if I apply myself, maybe I can get it for free) but this is one of those training programmes I have no regrets over and I owe my current and future career too. Take the leap, especially if you’re also a young grad who needs to get in the door somewhere, you won’t regret it.

BIT programme & landing a fintech role

Age: 28. I come from a background of 7 years in commercial finance roles and 7 years in retail part-time roles during my studies. I have a degree in accounting & finance.

I joined the Break Into Tech programme end of Dec 25 when I wanted to intentionally invest in a programme to prepare me to apply for tech sales roles & initially had no idea where to begin. However the structure and knowledge of this programme helped me to land a role within 3 months of joining the programme. I spent 1 month going through the programme properly and networking. The following 2 months after that I landed 30 interviews in 8 weeks and I couldn’t have done that without the programme.

I have now landed a role as an SDR at a rapidly growing fintech London hybrid based role. £65K OTE starting + equity.

The programme helped me on how to optimise my LinkedIn & CV. What was most important was learning how to position my finance and retail experience in a way to relate to a role within fintech sales. The community itself was amazing, everyone was willing to network with you and guide/support you. I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone thinking of a career change/pivot, coming from a non-traditional background or a fresh graduate learning how to land a role. There are life long teachings you will keep using going forwards.

Worth the investment!

I’m 24 and currently work in higher education, with no prior sales experience and a non-tech background (law and social anthropology).
I joined the BIT program at the end of January to get structured guidance on breaking into tech sales, and by the end of March, I had landed my first role with a £38k OTE. The process took around 2 months of learning, applying, and interviewing.
The biggest value for me was developing a clear understanding of the SDR role and being able to demonstrate that in interviews. The community was especially useful for preparing for group interviews and cold call role plays.
Overall, this program is ideal for anyone without industry connections who wants a fast, structured path into their first tech sales role.

Best ROI you will ever spend in your life.

Highly recommend to anyone who is ready to invest in themselves and transition into tech sales. The programme modules, coaching and community support are all 10/10. In less than 2 months `I've secured a top paying SDR role! On top of that, I've learnt practical skills on interviewing - how to perform well in them and how to actually get them (which is not an easy code to crack on your own in this job market).

Landed a role in 2.5 weeks!!!

I’m a 34 year old female marketing professional. Hit a glass ceiling in my career and was seeking change. Had been applying to marketing roles for months and was getting hit with rejections left, right and centre. Enrolled into BiT and landed my first BDR role at Flatpay within 2.5 weeks! A £40k OTE starting salary with clear (and fast) progression! I would have never landed this role without the coaching, CV/linkedin optimisation, encouraging community and incredible course structure. Cannot recommend it enough!

Worth every penny.

Im 24 and come from a hospitality/sales background (also did a law degree) both fields felt very unfulfilling and I wanted a much more scalable career. Found the course through tiktok (had my doubts at first) but after seeing the fantastic success stories, reviews and what the course had to offer, I couldn’t resist! It took me roughly 6 months to land a role (simply because I had other commitments). The guidance and support provided is fantastic from people (Bilal and Lara) who GENUINELY care and will support you. I found the CV help provided by my mentor Uzma particularly helpful and general LinkedIn advice. The interview and negotiation guidance given my Bilal was extremely helpful too and it’s because of him, I was able to land a role with a salary I was happy with. The course helped me greatly with interview confidence and objection handling which are two aspects I personally struggled with before. I 100% recommend this course to everyone regardless of your background and experience. Take that leap and join!

Break Into Tech Truly Works ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At 23 years old, I made the decision to leave the insurance industry and pursue a career in tech — even though I had no prior experience and no degree. Break Into Tech helped make that transition possible.

Before joining, I felt stuck and unsure how to position myself for a tech role. I didn’t understand the tech landscape, I lacked confidence, and I needed real guidance on how to make such a big shift in my career. That’s why BIT immediately stood out to me.

I dove into the program, and during that time I was able to completely transform my approach — from improving my interview skills to building my personal brand and expanding my network. BIT’s support, structure, and accountability made all the difference.

After about 5 months, I landed an SDR position with a med-tech company, earning a $50k base salary with an $85k OTE. This opportunity genuinely changed the trajectory of my career.

Break Into Tech helped me with interview prep, confidence-building, networking strategies, and understanding how to present myself professionally. The community and mentorship were invaluable.

I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone who’s serious about breaking into tech but feels overwhelmed, unprepared, or unsure where to start. If you’re willing to put in the work, BIT will guide you every step of the way.

23 year old from 26k to 44k in Manchester

I am 23 years old from Manchester working in a b2c environment for break virgin media . Manchester roles are hard to come by , the ones that are require at least some b2b experience and the others look at recent grads , I was in a very tough position but bilal helped me to tell my story better , position my inexperience as strength and learn how to push past those objections of no experience, the thing I loved the most about break into tech is the community , you learn a lot from people who are t trying and failing , the best methods of outreach are shared by students who have success with them , you feel inspired by individuals who push past failure and it really motivates you to, the offer I landed was a 44k OTE package in a leading Hr and Payroll provider , I was in a blessed position to have two offers and bilal helped me pick the best one using his expertise and negotiate salary , I’d recommend break into tech if you have the hunger and desire to land a role but no direction or no clue how to articulate your story .

From retail to fintech – Break Into Tech genuinely works

I’m 32 years old, and before joining Break Into Tech I had no formal background in tech or sales. I was working in retail/customer-facing roles and, while I do have a degree, it wasn’t related to tech. I knew I wanted more long-term growth and stability, but I had no clear route into the tech industry.

I joined the Break Into Tech Accelerator because I was stuck. I was applying for roles but lacked structure, confidence, and a proper strategy. I didn’t know how to position myself, what companies were really looking for, or how to stand out in interviews — and doing it alone wasn’t working.

After around 6 months, I landed a Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Flatpay, a fast-growing fintech company. The role comes with a £45,000 OTE with uncapped commission, which felt like a huge step up from my previous roles. Seeing what others in the company have achieved (one new starter made £93,000 in their first year) really showed me the potential of this career path.

Break Into Tech supported me in all the areas that mattered:

*CV and LinkedIn optimisation that actually got recruiter responses

*Interview prep and mock interviews that built real confidence

*Mindset coaching and accountability, which kept me consistent

*A supportive community that made the process feel achievable rather than overwhelming

I would 100% recommend Break Into Tech to anyone looking to change careers or break into tech sales — especially if you’re coming from a non-traditional background or feel like you’ve left it too late. This program gave me the structure, belief, and tools to make it happen.

Helped me land my first role in tech sales

I’m 29 and I’ve just landed my first official role in tech sales.

My background before Break Into Tech:
Before joining, I was working in marketing and channel partnerships. I didn’t come from a traditional sales background and I’d never owned a quota before, but I had experience speaking to customers, partners, and internal teams. I have a degree, but I really struggled to position my experience in a way that made sense for tech sales roles.

Why I joined Break Into Tech:
I knew I wanted to move into tech sales, but I was getting stuck. I wasn’t sure if my CV was strong enough, how to talk about my experience in interviews, or what recruiters were actually looking for. I also felt like I needed structure and some accountability instead of just applying blindly and hoping for the best.

My results:
It took me around 2 months to land a role.
I’ve accepted an Enterprise SDR role at a B2B SaaS company, fully remote.
The role comes with a £38k+ base plus commission, with progression after ramp.

How Break Into Tech helped me:
What helped me most was:
• Improving my CV and LinkedIn positioning
• Learning how to communicate my experience properly in interviews
• Interview prep and confidence
• Getting more comfortable with sales conversations and cold calling
• Being part of a community where people were going through the same thing

More than anything, it helped me learn from each interview instead of feeling discouraged, and to stay consistent even when things didn’t work out straight away.

Final thoughts:
I’d recommend Break Into Tech to anyone who’s serious about breaking into tech sales but feels stuck or unsure where to start. You still have to put the work in yourself, but the structure and guidance definitely helped me get there.

Fantastic Results in Record Speeds

Hey everyone! I'm 25, with two degrees in healthcare/science under my belt. Thought I'd share my journey into tech sales, because if I can make the switch, so can you! 🚀

Before Break Into Tech:
No sales or tech experience whatsoever. I was grinding through my Master's, working weekends, and staring down a bleak job market thanks to NHS funding cuts. Zero hope for stable roles in healthcare despite my quals. 😩

Why I Joined Break Into Tech:
I craved stability and a career that'd let me move out, build my life, and actually progress. BIT promised a clear path into tech sales, no more uncertainty!

My Results:
Landed a killer role at a company Leeds in exactly 1 month (could've been faster if I wasn't juggling my Master's placement + weekend job).
Salary: £27k post-probitation, with £55k+ OTE uncapped so whatever you put in you'll get out!

How Break Into Tech Made It Happen:

CV overhaul that got me noticed fast.

How BIT porgram changed my whole life!

I’m 27, and before joining Break Into Tech I had no sales or tech experience at all. My background was a mix of project management work during my time at Bloomberg and then moving into in-house recruitment. I also came from a series of short-term contract roles, even though I did have a degree in Business Management.

But despite all of that, I still felt lost. I knew I wanted to break into tech, but I had no idea where to start or what the right path looked like. I needed guidance, structure, and most importantly—real feedback. That’s exactly what the program gave me. The support, motivation, and the amazing community made all the difference.

What surprised me most was how fast everything changed. Within just two weeks of joining the program, I landed a SaaS SDR role with a £45,000 base salary + £20,000 OTE.

Break Into Tech helped me with literally everything—CV rewriting, interview preparation, building confidence, mindset, personal branding, and the accountability I really needed. But the biggest game-changer for me was the quality of feedback. It was honest, actionable, and pushed me to genuinely improve.

I would 100% recommend this program. It’s worth every penny. If you feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed about getting into tech, this is for you. And my biggest message to anyone considering this: never give up—because the right support can completely change your career.

Breaking into a Saas company with no prior experience

After 4 years of customer facing sales in a retail sales role I have managed to break into tech, landing a tech sales job at a Saas company at 23 years old with no prior B2B experience. I was interested in breaking into tech sales but had no idea how until I came across the BreakIntoTech program which helped me in a multitude of ways from optimising my CV and LinkedIn as well as how to tackle interviews. After nearly 4 months of persistence, I landed a role that had a competitive salary and commission structure that exceeded my previous role and with a clear progression path for the future. My best advice for anyone who is looking into breaking into tech sales is to stay persistent as I did and you will land a role you are happy with.

It's a highly rewarding career which I would suggest to anyone, and especially through this program.

I started with no prior knowledge of how I would make it even to land an interview, slowly I started interviewing multiple times a week and thanks to the prep provided by the program, I was able to succeed eventually.
