Complete Scam

I purchased a $5 book. Later I was charged with $25 for a “bundle” and $39.99 for a VIP membership that I did not sign up for. Shaquanta was unhelpful in getting me a refund. Complete scam.

Expect unauthorized chargers!

After charging me $4.99 for my book purchase I never got a confirmation email with the amount on it. I later get an email showing that an additional $39.99 had been drafted from my account. Following that an additional $25 was drafted unexpectedly from my account. I contacted their “customer service” through email and they claimed that I subscribed to a VIP subscription by checking a box during checkout. This was false. The agent Shaquanta, who I’m sure isn’t a real person, said that she will cancel my subscription, but could not refund my money. A subscription that I never signed up for. I returned to the site and began checking out another item to see if such a subscription sign up box ever popped up. It did not. This is a scam website! They are counting on you not noticing all the additional draft they take from your account. Do not ever shop here!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, or it will literally cost you. I purchased a $5 book and then was charged $39.99 for a membership I didn’t not opt into. Their business practices are misleading and not integral. They don’t assume responsibility and I’m sharing to help prevent others from becoming victims of poor business practices and SCAM. They refused to give a FULL refund. Also, on their webpage, they have a Trustpilot image with 5k reviews but no actual link to leave a review or access to those reviews. Lastly, the membership they charge for has no policy or info about it. There is no section with all the perks, additional resources associated with such membership…because it DOES NOT exist!! I had to create this Trustpilot because it did not exist. I have taken screenshots of the chat conversations and the website and will be reporting to authorities and all social media platforms to warn other consumers.
