Added to their database with no permission to do so
Received the following cold-email today without ever interacting with their site or service, nor wanting to.
"You're receiving this email as we believe you at your website, are a business actively looking to establish affiliate relationships, content or b2b partnerships with brands. Our platform, Breezy, helps brands search for and connect with potential partners like yourself.
We found your business and this contact email address using publicly available records combined with third-party providers. We have included you in our database of content publishers and brands so that we can share your contact information with interested brands. They will only contact you to discuss potential content and affiliate partnership."
I do NOT think this is OK. My business is not interested in B2B partnerships and has never even hinted at the idea that it is. I think this is extremely scummy and I shouldn't have to OPT OUT of this stupid service. It should be entirely opt-in.
