No one ever delivered my order
I had a very standard request to deliver a couch about 500m within Rotterdam city center. No courier was matched with me to pick it up on the original day scheduled, so I rescheduled 2 days later. No one was matched that day either. This service is totally unreliable and is a complete waste of time. It is also more expensive than local couriers. For 150 euro, I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

Last-minute cancellation
One hour before the pickup time Brenger emailed that the time slot had been "adjusted", but when I called them they admitted the courier had cancelled altogether. Brenger's customer service response was very much along the lines of "yes, that can happen, how unfortunate". Unreliable service.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I booked Brenger to transport a cabinet from Dordrecht to Amsterdam and provided the correct measurements, required additional services, and even repeated the details in the courier notes. I paid almost €100.
Brenger’s system apparently automatically changed the measurements, resulting in a vehicle arriving that was too small for the cabinet. Customer service then blamed me for not noticing that their system had changed the dimensions and refused a refund because the driver had already travelled to the pickup location.
The seller understandably didn’t want to wait another four hours for a second attempt and cancelled the sale.
Result: I lost the cabinet I had purchased and almost €100 because Brenger sent the wrong vehicle based on measurements their own system changed.
Extremely disappointing customer service. I will not use Brenger again.

After reviewing your transport, we can see that the item was booked with the dimensions 128 × 50 × 42 cm, while at pickup it turned out to measure approximately 220 × 94 × 50 cm. Unfortunately, this came as a surprise to the courier. As they were already carrying other transports, there was not enough space left in the van to transport the cabinet safely.
We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially as it meant you missed out on purchasing the cabinet.
We have cancelled the transport and a 25% refund has already been processed in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Cancelled transport a few hours prior to…
Cancelled transport a few hours prior to pick up. Then, they blamed us for cancelling — claiming it was either the sender or the recipient who cancelled in an incognito window and they couldn’t do anything.
Quite unethical and unreliable. Stay wary of the positive reviews here.
This was my first and last experience with them. Given it happens on the first experience itself, that makes 100% of the cases with bad experience.

Booked, Paid, Abandoned (Twice)
I booked and paid days in advance for a small move from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. My courier called morning-of to confirm. He then canceled the move with 10 minutes left til pickup. I contacted Brenger and they tried to get me someone else - another courier took the job, and then did not cancel but also never showed up. The only reason it's not 1 star is that the customer service reps were very nice and apologetic, offering a refund, but they couldn't force the couriers to do their jobs. I ended up injuring myself moving my things on my own.
