They brick are from the same pack and some are even upto 4 mm difference in height and size absolute rubbish

Bought 330 paving slabs from Brett as we wanted to make sure that they were all the same colour. What a nightmare!! Firstly they sent the wrong colour. We ordered charcoal and they sent buff. Then they sent us the 5 pallets ordered but it took them a week to exchange them. The builder laid the first three pallets then noticed that the next two were a completely different colour. They sent a rep who agreed they were different and she would put in a report. After a lot of arguing they agreed to track down another two pallets the same as the ones already used by which time we noticed that they were different colours too. There were no batch numbers on the slabs. They sent a replacement which took weeks so was left with a half completed patio for weeks. They finally sent another two pallets again, they had no batch numbers. They have since been laid and they too have dried up a completely different colour too. Our patio is a mess. It has five different colours. Please don’t buy products from this company and save yourself a lot of hassle, money and disappointment at the outcome. They are always blaming everybody but themselves and are always lying to get out if their mistakes. Will not be using their products again EVER!

I purchased a small amount of concrete from there Newhaven branch to extend a driveway only to receive a product that wasn’t fit for purpose. The builder who tried to lay the concrete said it was the worst concrete he had ever seen in 50 years of laying concrete. The member of staff that came to inspect blamed the builder for not laying, tamping and rubbing up in less than 1 hour because that’s all the time you have before there concrete sets hard. The concrete has also a large stain in it, but they won’t do anything about it. A rubbish product and rubbish customer service, I will never use this company again.

We’ve had a driveway paved with Brett silver blocks and there’s about 1/4 of them are very dark in colour
There’s about four others in my area with the same problem, Brett have inspected it and sent out a generic reply blaming the installers not mixing the pallets properly,
There is definitely something going on with quality
Our local supplier has stopped dealing with Brett having had numerous complaints about dark blocks being sent out mixed with good ones
It’s a shame I cant post pictures to show you how bad it is, we had 9 or 10 pallets and my drive is awful , I told the Brett inspector I’m happy to leave the boarder in place and just change the blocks to make things easier but they are denying anything is wrong
There’s also trouble with blocks going rusty due to metal getting into the aggregate after it’s been dredged,
Probably why they’ve shut down the plant and moved miles away to a better location
No other driveway I’ve seen looks like my one
Bitterly disappointed

A delivery of 70 slabs had a mixture of different colour and different textures - they should all have been the same slabs my complaint is being ignored
