What can we say!! Fabulous service from kay especially as we only planned about a month in advance! Every question answered in a timely manner despite being extremely busy with other weddings! Kay, you are a star!! We can't thank you enough for your patience and help in what can be a stressful time for brides, but you made it so easy for us so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our day was amazing, our fabulous photographer Marian who hopefully had fun with some of the photos we wanted!! Everything was just perfect. Lovely meal at Little Bay - be warned the starters are huge!! The table was laid beautifully and the food gorgeous. Our wedding was exactly as we wanted and that meant the world to us.

Kay was on the ball right away and explained everything concisely, giving different package offers. She kept in touch through the whole process. Very helpful and told us everything we needed to do and bring. Nothing was too much of a problem for her.

I was undecided if i should use a wedding planner, it seemed an easy thing to do myself, however i am so pieased that i did. Due to several problems over delayed flights meant that there was a real risk of missing the legal aspects/ appointments prior to the wedding. Being able to contact Kay (the wedding planner) who quickly stepped in and re organised all these appointments at short notice so that the wedding could still take place as originally planned. Without this intervention the wedding would have been cancelled, not only loosing money but causing real heartbreak. I cannot thank Kay and Bride Gibraltar enough.

Absolutely spectacular service. Due to work, my husband and I had a finite amount of time to schedule a wedding, and Kay was stupendous. She took care of everything, answered our questions, was super helpful and available. It was such an incredibly experience all thanks to Kay!

I first contacted Kay back in May to start arranging our wedding for December, and we have been so pleased with the service we received.
Kay was so helpful, knowledgeable and always replied to my emails swiftly. And got everything booked for us so quickly!
We received the wedding schedule around a week before the wedding, which was perfect. Everything was clearly laid out, meaning we were able to attend the relevant appointments the day before the ceremony to finalise all the paperwork, which was all very stress free and easy.
Kay arranged two witnesses for us at the Registry Office, both wonderful people who made us feel at ease and kindly took photos and videos for us as we chose not to have a professional photographer.
Overall, we highly recommend Kay and Bride Gibraltar, we really have had a relaxing wedding with no stress. Thank you so much.

after wedding our reception was a couple mins walk away from boat but don't let this put any one off the staff the food and whole experience was wonderful 'little Bay restaurant ' we went there on our last night again and was just the same no just for our reception amazing thank you ALL so much

We first contacted Kay back in 2020 after visiting Gibraltar to case out potential wedding venues. We had fallen in love with the Sunborn and after recommendations and reading reviews we reached out to Kay. Fast forward 2 years and we've just celebrated one week of being happily married.

Kay was absolutely brilliant, despite us being 2 years ahead Kay allowed us to book on the prices advertised at the time. There was a lot of changes over the 2 years as Covid continued to change lives and travel arrangements, all of which Kay handled with ease and communicated clearly throughout.

We pre-paid for 25 guests but actually had 44 guests who booked (far more than we thought would actually attend), another challenge for Kay as all suppliers had to be contacted about a dramatic increase in numbers attending. Kay handled this brilliantly & took all the pressure off us so we could focus on our guests.

Towards the last few weeks of planning the wedding we wanted to make some changes to what we initially booked including wedding cake, food on the day & changes to our drinks package. Kay managed all these brilliantly despite the short notice.

About 2 weeks before we flew out Kay sent a very detailed itinerary which has all the details in we needed, which made us far more relaxed as we had everything we needed in one place. On arrival at the Sunborn we had a room upgrade, cupcakes and other treats left in our room all courtesy of Kay which was absolutely wonderful!

Kay gave us very clear instructions on the various meetings we had to attend to obtain our license to marry. Funnily enough two couples ahead of us in the queue at the Registry office has their wedding planner physically with them (Kay wasn't with us) yet both couples got rejected for incorrect paperwork with their wedding planner stood at the side of them. Clearly, a testament to Kay that ours went through very plain sailing without a single glitch, our Registrar even came to meet us and say hello so we had met her before the big day!!

The day itself went even better than either of us could have hoped!! It was perfect from start to finish, unbeknown to us Kay was still in the background checking in with the Yacht throughout the day to ensure everything was going as planned, which we greatly appreciated, and I think shows how much she really does care.

Overall, Kay was fantastic & it was a pleasure to have her plan our wedding. I think as with all businesses there will always be some negative reviews & I think we all know there are some people out there that no matter what you do they will simply never be satisfied. However, for us we would recommend Kay to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

Had a terrible experience with Kay at Bride Gibraltar. Almost destroyed all the fun of the wedding as I was a nervous wreck. Was told hair and makeup lady needed full deposit in advance for bride or could not do a rehearsal so when we were disappointed with the makeup we lost our deposit. After paying deposits we chased for months to see examples of photographer and video work. Just before the wedding when we saw these they were so abysmal we had to pay more for a decent photographer and lost our video deposit when we changed videographer. We wanted to discuss flowers but were not allowed to have direct contact with the florist then on the day our top table arrangement did not arrive. Nor could we reach Kay at all by phone on the day. This company may be fine if you just want to turn up on the day but not if you want any involvement in preplanning or vetting suppliers. Would never recommend.

I have just read the reoly to this which is full of lies . All bills were paid comoletely on time . The original photographer and videographer examples were so terrible they were funny. The florist was wonderful but she herself confirmed Kay did not pass on the order for the too table which we paid for . And Kay was definitely ignoring my calls on the day . It was my daughters wedding , I had the right to demand high standards and do not apologise . Any implication that I'm a difficult customer is quite ridiculous and Kay I think your response shows you for what you really are, dishonest and manipulative.

Do not recommend. Booked and paid in full in September 21 for wedding June 22. Less than 2 weeks to wedding, still no schedule. Became suspicious Bride Gibraltar was a scam and emailed registry office myself. Confirmation a slot was reserved but they had had no further contact from Kay. With just over a week to wedding date eventually received schedule. Appointment with commissioner of oaths listed in schedule for 8.15am. We arrived as scheduled to discover Kay neglected to arrange this with him. Very nice gentlemen agreed to see us and he completed all necessary paperwork. Proceeded to registry office only to find Kay@Bride Gibraltar had not paid. We had paid in full September 2021. Had to then make contact with Bride Gibraltar while holding everyone else in queue up. Kay paid it over phone and blamed Registrar Office! Other wedding planners waiting in the registry office commented this was not the first time Kay from Bride Gibraltar failed to pay. Useless service that would have been better doing ourselves or researching better. Used wedding planner to reduce stress however she made what should have been a stress free day very stressful indeed. I would not recommend at all. Would urge people to research as there were several other wedding planners at the registrar office with their clients who obviously provided a good service. Bride Gibraltar are not based in Gibraltar but are a company based in Ilford, England. She initially wanted us to book flights and hotels with her can only say we are so glad we chose to do this ourselves as no trust in her competence at all.

Bride Gibraltar was one of three wedding planners I contacted to arrange a registry office ceremony. We needed the wedding to take place at the end of May and only had about 6 weeks to make everything happen. Kay was the only planner who could get us the date we wanted when we had heard from the other planners it wasn't available. From the start, Kay was an incredibly responsive communicator. I felt very confident leaving her to tend to all the details for our special day. Any time I had a question or checked in to see how things were proceeding, Kay was timely, courteous and professional. She truly made this a stress-free experience for us. Her recommendations were second to none. We stayed at the Sunborn Yacht Hotel in Ocean Village and had the most lovely VIP dinner at Little Bay Restaurant to celebrate our marriage. Venerina did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and was fabulous to work with. She was also our photographer and even drove us to the registry office for the ceremony! Our witnesses were timely and very fun. We really can't say enough about our experience with Kay and Bride Gibraltar, just fantastic from start to finish. Sent money for a wedding in good faith. When a date was available they requested a further £120 for no reason. Requested a refund told me it was sent and completed yet I have still not received anything. Gave me excuses offered pointless courtesy calls and told me how they survived lockdown even though i found out the company is dissolved. Kay and her company are not to be trusted. Avoid this dishonest untrustworthy company. I will post full email transcript if there is any doubt to what I am saying. I have no reason to lie about anything. They have since flagged my review as they do not have a leg to stand on. Why not counter my claims? I have no reason to lie and will provide all proof to trust pilot when requested. I honestly would not have posted this if they had done what they said they would do. Nothing I have said is in any way untrue and I have the full email thread to prove it and I am willing to submit to trust pilot and post on review. Look up the company, it is dissolved but still using email address in same name but requesting transfer to different company name. Massive red flag. Why are you even trading using the name of a company you dissolved a yr ago? ***UPDATE*** Money was returned yesterday 03/05/2022 less a £50 admin fee which only a cowboy outfit would take. Also refund only given after you were named and shamed by myself on trust pilot. I shouldn't have had to to that to get my money back. Thankfully sites like trust pilot exist. You and your legal team can do what they want. I'm not a liar. You are dishonest. Your company Bride Gibraltar is dissolved as anyone can see for themselves with a quick search on companies house website. Regarding wedding dates, we had discussed a date and you emailed saying that the registry office would hold until mid day on a certain day. That date passed and I did not send funds as my mother had a stroke. So are you saying that if I had sent it you would have kept it and asked me to pay again? Wow!!!! Anyway I then sent money to you and you said we would discuss dates going forward. Then you had nothing available going forward apart from one date and I had to pay £120 extra as it was "out of hours". I've never in my life known 2pm on a week day to be classed as out of hrs. Please kindly explain why that fee was added considering you are just a middle man and the cost of the wedding is the same. I checked myself with the registry office. You were simply taking advantage of a situation knowing I had already transferred money to you and there was not much I could do. Then I started doing some research and found that bride gibraltar was infact a dissolved company and alarm bells started ringing. So from my point if view I had done a bank transfer to an account for "ace trip" but the company you had been corresponding with and advertising with, bride gibraltar was infact dissolved and didn't exist. Any customer would be alarmed. Further digging and I found reviews where you do not like to return people's money and try your best not to. In some cases you have taken 6 months. You then had the audacity to claim you didn't even have to return my money and I was basically lucky that you were as I had changed the date yet at no point prior did you say I was liable for any costs but simply that the date would not be held past a certain time if funds were not received. You are a desperate small time company clearly displayed by your conduct and actions, it's embarrassing you try and portray yourselves like some Forbes 500 company yet you take a £50 admin fee out of my money. The reason I stopped contacting you regarding refund is because you said over a week ago that it was in my account but it was not so I was dealing with my bank and their fraud team. It's comical because when I did try to contact "Kay" to discuss details for the wedding and dates before I asked for refund not once did I actually manage to get through to anyone, never at her desk or always on another call. It also looks very dodgy that you use the name Bride Gibraltar which is a dissolved as a company while asking for money to be transferred to ace trip. It's pathetic the way you try to block every review I post like you have again but this will get posted because you are liars, I am honest and trust pilot are a reputable company. All you can do is flag every update so they get taken down for a few days. Pathetic. it's comical, your pathetic threats from your "legal team". Do you really think I care? You've been watching too many legal dramas on Netflix. It's actually embarrassing. You don't have a legal "team", just one of you on a computer. So you can call the police, have a crisis meeting with your so called "legal team", do what you want I really couldn't care less. Also remember I have a complete email thread to back up everything I have said. Why don't you challenge me to post it?????????

After contacting Kay at Bride Gibaltar it really was plain sailing. Kay organised everything from legal requirements, accommodation and parking to catering, all flowers, photos/video, music and hospitality requirements. The venue, Sunborn Yacht Hotel was superb. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything as Kay had covered all angels. We had a wonderful, stress free, wedding all thanks to Kay at Bride Gibraltar, we highly recommend their excellent services

We would highly recommend Kay to organise your wedding in Gibraltar! Kay is highly professional, helpful and nothing is too much bother! We had the best time and our wedding day was made particularly memorable with Venerina who did my hair and make-up (an amazing lady!) and she also did the photography! Kay did an amazing job with all arrangements and organising the whole wedding, including the last minute addition of flowers, hair , make up and photography. Had a fun time with the mini photoshoot post ceremony. Communication was great , would highly recommend.

Kay at Bride Gibraltar was absolutely amazing. We had a couple small hiccups in our trip (life does happen!) - she was so punctual and quick to get back to us and sort it all for us! We loved Gibraltar and are so happy to be married:) Thank you again Kay!

Kay was very helpful and efficient in organising everything for us, including the translation of my fiancé’s birth certificate. It was a lovely little ceremony and everything went smoothly thanks to her preparations - I would certainly recommend her!
