Bright On Photography is run by Dr Eva Kalpadaki who offers inspiring photography coaching and mentoring in Brighton and Hove and beyond, in-person and online. Eva is a highly knowledgeable, patient and friendly photography coach who cares for your learning and your success. Creativity and freedom of expression through the medium of photography are at the core of Eva's coaching. She is qualified to PhD and PGCE level, but on top of her academic qualifications she is also an accredited Life Coach, which equips her with extra tools to guide you in your journey towards discovering your creative potential. With 13 years of teaching experience, she delivers photography courses and workshops in small groups or privately in 1-1 coaching and mentoring sessions or programmes. Also, with significant experience in exhibiting fine art photography, Eva’s favourite coaching aspect is to support her clients in bringing their work to the public through creative practice development. This of course includes University all-levels study support, not only in developing a creative photography project but also in understanding photography theory and dissertation writing.

Excellent Course
I highly recommend Bright On Photography, Eva’s classes were really important in giving me the confidence to develop my skills. I came to her with some knowledge of composition but little technical know how and I have now done two of her very enjoyable courses. She is an empathetic and generous teacher. What I find particularly impressive is that she is able to make accessible the technical aspects of photography through creative artistic tasks for people at different levels in a group. Her courses are very well organised and it’s clear she is an expert in her field. Her feedback on my work was always easy to understand, helped me improve and I still consider things she said to me when I make images now.
