Great for the most part

There were a couple unexpected moments at closing with regard to numbers that were cleared up but other than that, the experience was smooth.

informative and trustworth

Our agent, Janet Farmer, was super helpful (always willing to answer questions over the phone and over email), knew what she was talking about, and seemed genuinely concerned with getting us the best possible loan. Great experience!

Good Experience - Have already recommended

Jay went above and beyond to make this loan work. My only frustration in the process was with underwriting. I have worked on many loans for myself and for real estate clients and have rarely had such pickiness with underwriting.

Excellent Support from Robbie!

From the very start, Robbie was very helpful and made sure we were communicated with throughout the each phase. Never did I have to track him down or stress over details. We always felt like our business was valued. Lucky to have created a new partnership with Robbie and BrightPath!

Tom Coyle at BrightPath Mortgage

I recently completed a refi on my personal and investment property with Tom Coyle. Because of his extensive knowledge in finance and real estate he was able to give me options and advise me of what is available to me as a self employed borrower. I received great customer service and a quick closing. Thanks Tom!

Will do business with Brightpath again

We had a long delay in our home purchase, with closing delayed several times because of a seller title issue. Janet at Brightpath was helpful, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. She walked us through each step of the process with us, maintained open communication, and the loan was closed with no unwanted surprises. We would highly recommend Brightpath and would gladly be repeat customers.

Brightpath just delivered

As a first time homeowner, I had so many questions about the whole "buying a house" process experience, and since I was being transferred from one state to another, finding the right lender and the right house was not an easy task. I did my research, I selected a few lenders and compared their Worksheet fess and Brightpath was by far the best, I worked with John Palmer, who was a great listener and had soooo much patience due to all the redundant question I had (again first time home buyer); he always assured me that I was in good hands. He always called to follow up on the process, he was always available even on weekend (I used to email him with questions on Saturday hoping he would respond by Monday, but he responded right away), He walked me through the closing cost, the escrows. and the underwriting. . He always gave me a peace of mind knowing that my closing cost date was never delayed and closed on our house and the same date that was agreed on day 1. He is highly recommendable.

Refinance

Bright Path was very persistent in getting our loan closed. There were numerous problems with the Underwriter agreeing to the Appraisal. Additional comps were needed along with a second appraisal. The process took 75 days. In the past, we were able to close with Bright Path in 30 days. Kevin and Renee kept us informed all along the way. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Great to work with with easy communication

Terry was outstanding to work with and a great communicator. I even called him with hypotheticals a couple of months later and he took the time to explain things to me. Will definitely use again

Bad Experience with Loan Officer

It may not be fair to tar Brightpath with he same brush as my loan officer but I only have him as a reference. I had 2 properties to refi and I primarily wanted to do property B. Loan officer worked on property A and after that was done came back and said that we could not do property B. He was rude and condescending in the process. I am closing the loan on property B with another company.

Efficient and responsive at start, but less so after we committed to them.

They were great while we were shopping. After we dropped the other companies they were less responsive. Pretty much handled in the length of time they said. The actual closing paperwork had several errors. They immediately sold the loan, and we were not notified. It took several calls to confirm the situation and get details. In the process we ended up making 2 loan payments in the first month so as not to run the risk of recording a late payment.

Couldn't be more happy!

I have used Yaz for my home buying process and he was professional, timely, thorough. I couldn't have been much happier. Yaz, was a great person to work with. Thank you guys for everything and all the hard work you put in to get my loan approved and closed. When I am ready to purchase again I will be calling Yaz.
