The guys at Britannia were very helpful in dismantling and shipping some small to medium sized items won at auction. Kept us well informed along the way, were very quick, and very reasonably priced for doing so.

Delighted to be the first to leave a review. I recently won a fairly expensive item on their site but, on arrival, discovered it had some damage which had not been picked up and therefore not been mentioned in the item description or in the conversations I had prior to placing my bids. I immediately contacted the company explaining what had happened. I fully expected to be fobbed off with the item "being sold as is" (even though it was not described as such) or something similar but was pleasantly surprised by them, without any hesitation, taking full responsibility for the inadvertent error and promising to put matters right by ensuring I was not left out of pocket. I was offered a full refund or, depending on the cost of repair, a contribution towards the repair.

After establishing through an independent third party specialist that it was unlikely to be economical to repair the item, I shared the report with Britannia and ultimately opted for a full refund. They were as good as their word and I received a full refund including the additional postage costs I incurred to get a repair quote and to send the item back to them.

I dealt with Amy and Steve - both were a pleasure to deal with both prior to and after my purchase. Indeed, it was due to how well they responded to my initial enquiries that I ultimately decided to give Britannia Auctions a try and I’m glad I did.
