The Accounting Programme turned out to…

The Accounting Programme turned out to be one of the best choices I’ve made. The training was easy to follow and really helped me brush up on software skills, but the highlight was definitely the work experience. Shadowing a chartered accountant gave me proper insight into what the role is actually like day to day. I got to see client accounts being managed, VAT returns being prepared, and how deadlines are handled in a real practice. It felt like a genuine step into the industry rather than just another course. By the end of the programme I felt much more confident, and it’s already helped me in applications and interviews. I’d recommend it to anyone serious about starting a career in accounting.

I joined the HR Programme at British Learning Centre with little experience and came out feeling confident and job-ready. The shadowing gave me real exposure to CV screening, onboarding, and handling staff queries, things you’d never fully grasp from theory alone. The practical support was amazing and, thanks to the experience I gained, I’ve now secured a job in Manchester.

I did the HR Programme with British Learning Centre and it’s honestly been such a positive step for me. The training was straightforward to follow, but what I really valued was the chance to actually gain experience working alongside an HR professional. During the placement I was able to sit in on real HR tasks like reviewing CVs, shortlisting candidates, and even helping with onboarding documents. At first I thought I’d just be observing, but I was given the opportunity to get hands-on which really built my confidence. The HR manager I shadowed was very supportive and took the time to explain why things are done a certain way, which made everything click. Before this programme, HR felt a bit abstract to me, but now I feel like I properly understand how the role works in practice. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to build real HR experience, not just classroom learning.

Just Another FRAUD !

What a SCAM !
I had a call from this company introducing me to their accountancy training (2 weeks) plus 3 months work placement, since I completed AAT level3 course 2 months ago.
I really liked the concept and was told at the end that there is a £500 upfront DEPOSIT upon acceptance following a job interview and OTHER TUITION FEES , which I don't have to worry about because the rest if fully funded. (was even told the 500 is refundable, but I was prepared for that not to be the case for some unknown reason)
I was booked in for an telephone interview for the next day during this call, and received all the details by email within minutes. BUT the 'Tuition Fees' were on very different terms comparing to what I was just told.

So, I quickly sent a confirmation email of our verbal FEE agreement (at 1pm) but received no reply. Their request was to pay a £1995 fee. Even though there was a possibility to pay in instalments, a company having to cheat and lie on the finance is concerning and made me question their credibility, including their own site's reviews.

Before the initial interview, I researched their website and found 4 FREE courses listed, which included this Accounting Course just offered. By this point I hoped there was some truth in any of that.

The INTERVIEWER introduced himself as a manager in a high position without a name and had a terrible belittling attitude towards me. Had no intention and interest in interviewing, instead asked if I read the info pack and if I can afford their prices. I politely said that it is something I would like to clarify as I was given contradicting information on this matter.

After my explanation he laughed arrogantly and said no one ever could have said that to me, and when I pointed out that even their website states the course is free he pretended not to hear and told me to contact them again when I can afford this. His demeanour quickly became hostile and aggressively argumentative.
Hey People!..look into Apprenticeships which offer salary, work experience and 1 step higher lever of your existing education 'all in one' ;)
