Customer service is rude and doesn’t actually resolve any issues. Paid £16.99! For special delivery which came after 2 days. When I asked for a refund for delivery they refused, when enquiring about sending the item back for that to be refunded they never responded. Plus the garm itself was too small, ordered age 13 for my 9 year old and it still didn’t fit. Sizes are all wrong.

Avoid doing business with this company! Terrible customer service. You think ordering online is a simple process? Think again. Mouthy cow!

Ordered the 'MTP PCS Cadet Starter Kit - Grade 1' bundle hoping the boots wouldn't be too beat up. Package arrived a few days later but not with the Haix HL Combat Boots that I ordered. You might think I would be disappointed but you would be wrong, I was delighted as I was sent a pair of Haix Cold and Wet Weather Boots--an item I actually really wanted, which is priced higher, and is apparently out of stock. Even better, they were basically brand new; no creases, maybe two marks that don't even qualify as scratches, and soles that look untouched.
As for the rest of the gear, fantastic again! There are no guarantees on what you'll get, but I got everything I wanted bar one velcro blanking patch. The smock has a wire hood; the trousers are temperate, and everything is in the best condition with no names or numbers written anywhere. Superb bundle!

Wore it all for the first time at an Airsoft game last Sunday (03/12/23), running around the snowy woods, in 0°C temperatures and felt great - was warm, dry, and very comfortable. (Side note: I won a £300 SVD rifle at the game--pure luck!)

Ordered the PCS-MTP uniform deal Grade 1 (jacket/shirt/trousers) for my son who has recently joined the Air Cadets. I cannot recommend British Military Surplus and these items in particular enough. All three items are in mint condition, I’d say ‘as new’. My son will be recommending you to his mates at cadets as I don’t think they will find a better deal for the quality of product.
Being an ex-squaddie from the ‘80s I have to admit to am element of envy at what is now standard issue. No need to buy lots of gucci kit to supplement what was issued.
Well done British Military Surplus, we’ll be ordering from you again.

I wanted to buy royal navy jumper, the large one is persistently out of stock on the website. But I was able to buy one !
I also wanted an XL jumper, but there is no click box on the website to do it. Someone needs to update the website.
I phoned in but was just referred back to the website. Not very helpful at all.

I had been looking for a goretex jacket for dog walking and found this RAF jacket.It was in stock unlike many other surplus stores.it was delivered promptly and upon arrival the jacket is like new. It is very well made (as u would expect) and very practical.The pockets are very sizable.I couldn't have chosen a better waterproof jacket.excellent value and excellent service.

I had ordered 2 pairs of Haix high boots one size 7 the other 13, I hadn't heard from company for week, when made contact to say struggling to get size 13 Haix and was I OK to wait for another day or 2, in meantime I recieved the Size 7s, they were in mint condition hardly worn looking like broken in on a carpet. A day or 2 later recieved further call informing me unable to source haix size 13 but had a pair altbergs size 13. These arrived 2 days later, they were also in mint condition.
During my conversations with staff, brilliant to deal with, will now use more, great work keep it up.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered - it might have saved me from a truly appalling experience.

Got sent size 10 wide.
When I emailed them I got told I should have specified what I wanted in notes.
And there's me thinking I ordered a size 10 standard.

Just had to write a review on how positive my experience was with this website. I ordered the 100l bergen backpack with the two side pouches on Sunday night. Received a dispatch note yesterday morning and Royal Mail delivered my parcel this morning.

Quick, easy, painless. The Grade 1 backpack is still in terrific condition, has been well looked after and well stored.

The price of this backpack was extremely competitive when looking at other sites. I will definitely be using this site again.

Bought a pair of Haix size 10 high liability were supposed to be grade 1 were in my opinion supergrade . Hade to return them as they far too big got a pair of s9 instead. Absolutely amazing condition can’t say how impressed I was

Do not buy from here. I returned my order within their 7 days returned policy, yet they claim they did not receive my return. Luckily I had a tracking number and was able to get proof of delivery. Despite several emails to them, It has been over 6 weeks and I have yet to receive my refund. I had paid via paypal, so I was able to raise a claim with them, though still waiting for a refund. They do not answer the phone or emails. They might be cheap but you get what you pay for.

Avoid, so far it's been a terrible experience. Trading Standards will be notified. Order was placed 7th September 2023, checked order status 11th September 2023 and was told our items will be sent later that day and to expect delivery by 13th September. Confirmation of dispatch sent with incorrect tracking information shortly after conversation. Have sent emails as we still haven't received our order requesting help on 19th September and a complaint on 21st September with no replies and no response to phone calls. It was clearly a mistake to order from this company, my son really needed the boots for his ACF and he's dissapointed and recommending his fellow cadets not to use them also.

I recently ordered two items from this company in England, and I must unfortunately say that my experience has been very troublesome. The package was delivered to the wrong address, resulting a lot of frustration on my part.

Communication with the company’s customer service has also been subpar. I expected a quick and smooth resolution to this issue, but instead, I encountered long response times and a lack of commitment to resolving the situation.

It’s regrettable that I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I hope they can improve their delivery process and customer service to avoid similar problems in the future.

In summary, I’ve had an unsatisfactory experience with the company due to the incorrect delivery and inadequate customer service. I hope they take steps to enhance their service.

Shockingly bad customer service, order placed and confirmed payment then no communication for weeks. After numerous emails I received nothing back apart from, “was this order processed?” So asking me a question. Do not order from these guys as they will not follow up. Point to note, my order has still not arrived!

After waiting a week I emailed to chase up the missing order that was supposedly sent via royal mail 48hr courier.
I was given a royal mail tracking number, however the tracking status said the package hadnt been recieved by royal mail. I passed this information back on via email, only to be ignored.
I waited a further week, checking daily to see if the order was recieved by royal mail before loosing patience and asking for proof of postage.
This wasn't provided, and instead I was reassured by Sammie the package should have been sent and she would get back to me the next day.
This of course didn't happen, so I requested a refund. Sammie rang me up to inform me the package had actually never been sent due to stock issues and offered to send other items.
I again had to ask for a refund.
Poor customer service and clearly don't update the website often enough.
Unprofessional communications from Sammie, can't seem to construct a professional email.
Won't bother with these lot again and I'll be sure to encourage others to avoid them also.

I ordered three items of British Military surplus equipment. My order arrived very quickly. Two of the three items were brilliant & in excellent condition despite being sold as Grade 1, so used/issued. One unfortunately had a strap cut off, so not as described.

I sent a photo pointing out the problem & received a reply within 24 hours promising a replacement would be sent out immediately. A Royal Mail tracking number arrived within minutes of that. That was on a Friday. The replacement arrived the next Monday & was in absolutely mint condition.

This is what great customer service looks like.

As a small business myself, I fully understand that things do go wrong. The mark of an outstanding business is, if they do so, fixing the problem quickly.

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with if there are any queries. Had item missing from first order, never replied to any communication. 2nd order was a disaster, sent 2 waterproof jackets instead of jacket & trousers, my son goes to camp tomorrow! Never get a reply to emails and never answer the phone - shocking. Would rather pay over the odds on eBay than chance anything of these again.
