Shell Energy Broadband - awful provider

I have submitted a review (twice) on broadband.co.uk and it has not been shown.
Shell Energy Broadband have left me without broadband for 15 days now.
I advised them that I am terminally ill, and therefore vulnerable, but I don't meet their criteria.
I had no broadband last month (for four days) due to a faulty router and I was still charged the full monthly amount for the service. When I contacted them to query this, they ofered me a refund of £3.68. I politely declined their paltry offer.

Vodafone Notice Period - awkward and inflexible

Wanted to give notice to Vodafone. Contract says 30 days but advisor says it must exactly 30 days, not 1 day sooner and not 1 day later. I tried to give notice on 6 December to take effect 17 December and contract ends 16 January. You cannot do that. The company cannot diarise forward although they are getting more than 30 days notice but a minimum of 30 days. Vodafone are obtuse for the sake of it and hope you will forget/miss the 30 days and new contract rolls over. Avoid this company like the plague. If I could have rated 0 stars, I would have - one star is far too generous

Bt smart hub 2 where to start

Bt smart hub 2 where to start. The worst hub ever! It will only work if u sit no more than 2ft away. It will not connect to any extenders in my house. Apparently BT does not like extenders!. It won't switch between 2ghz and 5 ghz frequency.

When I raised this with BT that it only works in 1 room I was told spend another £20 a month on the halo guaranteed WiFi or put up with it!

So I have left BT Never Again!!!!

Shocking hub and shocking customer service!
Having to wait for new Sky hub which may not arrive before Xmas so no WiFi over Xmas 😭

An invaluable tool for any broadband user

A complex site though easy enough to navigate. The built in speed test is accessible and very informative.
Helped me a lot when my broadband slowed right down without reason.
All broadband users would benefit from making use of this site
Thoroughly recommended!!

I thought this was a comparison site

I thought this was a comparison site, totally not. It is a selling site and only directs you to certain companies not others as it should do if it is a genuine comparison site. Money Super Market is 100 times better and does exactly what it says on the tin. AVOID AT ALL COSTS u less you want to end up paying more for your broadband.
Very disgruntled customer.
