Climb Era scam

I got a message from Climb Era saying: "Hi, you were picked from our random name generator to be 2nd place for out giveaway.

You can have a code to hav 90.00 off our Climb Mystery Box :) Would that work for you? Climb_era Stella "

After I replied yes I got the following message "Just use: "a 3 digit code" on the Mystery box :). ALso want to let you know you can give this to one more individual so they can receive one as well! This is good for 1 day but if you need more time elt us know! When the package comes in send a photo so we can post a review".

I honestly thought they were trustworthy as they have many followers, however I looked it up and the shipping fee is very high, $23.99. I did not end up ordering after looking it up and seeing many people had received the same texts before. Their website does not look legit either: "directsports.ritll.com"

Scam giveaway

Same as everyone else, this is a scam giveaway. The mystery box arrived today in, not a box, but a small packet. Five crappy stickers and a crap quality bandana. Glad I didn't pay $80 for it!

(climb.boulders) Scam Giveaway?

Got a message from climb.boulder about some giveaway. Apparently I've won their Climb Mystery Box and all I had to pay was shipping. Was pretty psyched at first but after looking at the content of the box (comparing what is the cheapest and more expensive item), I got a bit put off that the cheapest is a Bic Lighter. Shipping to my country is about $20+ (RM100++) in my country - which is a lot.

So I decided to dig in a lil deeper and thank God I did my research... Stay vigilant guys. It's crazy how many scammers are out there :/

Giveaway scam Climb.boulders

Just got a message saying, I was one of the those you got a code for 80$ mystery box, it’s scam guys watch out. They after ask for you post on your story a picture of the package. Which they is free but you have to pay at least 20$ shipping. SCAM @climb.boulders and @climb_era. Also the giveaway are totally fake, a guy on Facebook instead of receiving the backpack promise, got a cheap bag for wish and still had to pay for shipping.

Warning for scam!

Climb.boulders on Instagram giveaway. Just received my climbing chalk worth apparently $80. Paid the $22 postage after specifically asked if it was worth it as I live in Europe and would have to pay customs. They assured me it would be fine, as they have shipment centers in the EU. The package came from China, I had to pay the tull. So now I've been scammed into paying $40 for chalk and stickers... They then blocked me when I confronted them. Total scam!

large scale scam

**i Never purchased it** I received a Instagram message from a large instagram account- @downhill_4all (60000+ followers) saying I won their mountain bike mystery box but it asked me to pay $25 for shipping and after reading online reviews of the website and realising it was a scam I messaged the account politely asking about the reviews and if I should trust the website and they blocked me straight away which seems very suspicious.
