Stay clear of this company. I had two people come out and do survey’s on my garage they both had a look around one of which was the owner of the business (Ben) and he didn’t come with a metal detector to see what was behind the wall. The two lads who later came to fit the garage door went through my gas pipe. The owner took no responsibility for this negligence at all. He in fact flew off the handle and was really rude when I tried to speak to him about this issue. He reported me to my council trying to put the blame on me. Thankfully I haven’t carried out any illegal work so I’m looking forward to speaking with the council about this. He also later decided that he wasn’t going to complete my job. After multiple calls he agreed to finish the job but later I declined as I didn’t want such a shoddy company working on my garage. He also hung up on me so I had no choice but to call the main landline and deal with the two girls Amy and Jane. Ive since gone with someone else and not only is it cheaper but it also comes with an alarm that this didn’t come with. Ive reported these guys to trading standards as the company need investigating. Going through people’s gas pipes is a big safety issue and I can’t believe he took no ownership of it what so ever. It’s a shame because this could easily have been resolved if the owner was honest and had some integrity. This is what liability insurance is for unless ofcourse he didn’t have insurance.
