Purchased imperial oud candle and smells like an old womans bathroom. REALLY dissapointed with fragrence and price. Although they did replace my candle with another scent so I am happy with service.

Most candles make a big show of it. You light them, they try far too hard, and five minutes later the room smells like a department store having a breakdown. These don’t. You light one and things just… settle. They behave themselves. No tunnelling, no sulking, no need to hover like it’s about to make a poor decision. You light it, it commits, and it sees it through without attempting arson on the furniture. A rare trait, in candles and in general.

The scents are properly judged. The Gentleman is clean and composed. Smells like things are handled. Gladiator has more weight. Not loud, just solid. Like it could take a knock and carry on. Shakespeare softens it. Quieter, more considered. The sort of scent that makes the room behave itself. They also dropped a limited run last year. Fixed numbers, no restocks. A pink variant that made people pause mid-sentence and rethink things. In the right room it could’ve ended arguments, or at least delayed them. To my surprise and disappointment, it didn’t hang around.

Pricing is sensible. Not cheap, not inflated, just… right. You light one, the room improves, and you get on with your life. No fuss, no nonsense, just a candle that does its job and leaves things better than it found them. Which is more than most people manage.

Purchased two candles, Gentlemen and castaway. The gentlemen one is very citrus, thats all you can smell, very intense but no leather or tobacco. The castaway also doesn’t give any scent that’s listed on the candle either. I was going to reach out as it states that if you’re not happy but then seen that they have to remain unburned. I left a comment on the Facebook page which has since been deleted by them so all I won’t be returning.

OK. Firstly, I was a little apprehensive about the price. I mean, there's cheaper candles, aren't there? I quickly found that Bro Candles have now set the standard for scented candles! The ambience they add to a room is extraordinary. Plus, they burn for ages! The reason I've held off writing a review was to test both small and longevity. 10/10 for both.

I had some trouble with my first order as a result of the incompetence of evri. No fault of brocandle.

I was sent a replacement via Royal Mail and gave to say I am shocked at how good these candles are.

The fragrances feel very high end, good quality and the burn is even and slow. I feel like I finally have a trustee brand after so many candle disappointments.

Will be ordering again soon now that Royal Mail is the preferred courier.

They use Evri to deliver their parcels! Mine was left on my doorstep in plain view of everyone, certainly not a ‘safe place!’ Both bro candles and Evri have washed their hands with it and gone very quiet! So I never got any candles and this company has my money! Real shame.

Great candle - great price - great fragrance - long burning time - what more could you ask for - I will be buying more - highly recommended!

I like candles but the usual range of scents are not very appealing and the candles tend to smoke after a short period of use.
That is not a problem with the Bro candles; my favourite is Morning Glory.
I light it while having a leisurely breakfast and it fills the house with a lovely citrussy coffee aroma and visitors often comment on the warm and welcoming smell.
A close second are the Shakespeare and Gentleman candles and they are used depending on my mood and the atmosphere I want to create.
One needs to try the candles to appreciate their unique scents.

I was not sure wether these candles would be any good. I now have no doubts that these candles are excellent. Within minutes of lighting my house filled with lovely fragrance that lasted.

I haven't tried the candles yet as they are Christmas gifts but smell nice unlit. However I found the packaging needs attention. The boxes are too small for the candles which causes them to distort and not seal properly. I was disappointed that one of the candle lids had smashed in its box which isn't a good look for a gift. Also I had to wait quite a long time for the delivery.

Great quick service gorgeous candle bought for my brothers birthday who loves candles and he definitely loved the the Bro also the car airfreshener.

Top notch scents, quick and well packaged postage. I'm just not a fan of the brand name, it's a bit cringe. Will be taking the labels off for my next purchase.

I'm skeptical of ordering anything that comes off social media but decided to try out The Gentleman from Bro Candle.

Unfortunately, when I finally got round to opening the box to try the candle out, the glass had shattered. So, as not to waste the candle I transferred it to another container where it burnt straight down.

I left a poor review on here as was understandably upset, but, not long after, I received a call from Bro Candle who kindly offered to send a replacement free of charge.

I only needed to open the replacement candle on the 30th October as the original candle that I managed to salvage, ended up balancing out and just kept on burning. A month later, or just under, as I had been burning about 4 to 5 hours per evening, it gave up the ghost and I unwrapped the replacement Gentleman which has been burning several hours per evening since the 30th October.

I wanted a smoky bonfire type scent.
This is nothing like that. Aftershave is the closest comparison
Not unpleasant but somewhat disappointing

Candles last twice as long as the expensive ones at the garden centre and AT LAST masculine scents. My house smells amazing.
I go on about these candles soon much to my friends they think I'm on commission! 😁

I have never tried this brand before so I bought the Gentleman candle. This is a brilliant candle with a terrific masculine smell. It’s like a smart gentleman’s club in a candle. It has lovely warm tones and burns evenly and for longer than other candles I have bought. I would definitely buy from this company again.
