Misleading advertisement online!!!😡 I wasted my time coming to the store 😡. . Advertised Michael Kors 30% off. My shoes that I bought 3 days was included . When I went to cashier for price adjustment she told me that my shoes was not on discount…I showed her the online advertisement on my phone showing the picture of my shoes.. she told me that others colors are on discount but not the black shoes that was advertised… I’m so mad😡 they should have shown the colors of the shoes on discount in the first place! Rather that putting another color that WAS NOT on discount!!!😡😡😡

The box was sitting at my doorstep while I was looking for Blackfriday deals online. I saw a store who had an other model priced 10$ lower than Browns. Decided to check their Google reviews which weren’t good. So i decided to check the reviews for browns and saw some negative ones.
I proceeded to quickly open up the package and take a look….How satisfy I was when I seen no marks/scuffs on the Nubuck. So clean.
Thanks to the team at Browns! I will definitely do business with You in the near future.
Note: I personally wouldn’t count on or even believe some of these reviews. I saw one who was nagging about Paladiums being ‘Not waterproof’. That’s Palladium’s fault not browns? Lol I’m also the type to believe some of the negative reviews are from competitors. Either way, I’m really happy with my transaction.

10/10 service and delivery. Bought some Doc Martens and they we beautfilly packaged and came super fast [2 days]. No issues or defects with the product. Overall great shoe and perfect service.
Wonderful customer service
Very happy that Browns reopened at Bloor Street W, Toronto. Angelica Pangan provided great customer service. She was very attentive and she does know the store’s inventory. Over all I had a good experience. Highly recommended location. Staff are helpful.

I was lucky to fall on Mark at Browns at Bayshore Mall yesterday. He was polite, and quickly assessed my needs. His in-depth knowldege of products offered at the store significantly shortened the time of my visit on a day that presented extremely busy. I was grateful for that.
Great customer service
The experience at the store was great. There was true work ethic in the process of purchasing a new pair of shoes. They really helped me through the process of finding the right shoe for me. In the end, they went out of their way to help find the right shoe for me and it turned out great.
I bought a pair of dress leather shoes
I bought a pair of dress leather shoes. The brand is Browns. The heel is dark brown and the sole is light beige. After wearing one week, the dark brown heel “ paint” came off exposing the light sole beige. A painted heel!! Unbelievable. Not a cheap pair of shoes. Around CDN200.

Marcus at Limeridge was very helpful. Explained the benefits and how to compare so we had a good fit. Made sure we had sizes to try and paid attention to what we wanted. Thank you!

Poor Customer Service and resolution
Another voice message from Fed Ex asking for the shipment to be picked up when they declined us picking it up as we didn't have a Govt Id with the same address. So we did go there as requested and they know that we cannot pick up and we have asked them to ship back to Brown's store but still holding on the item from July 24, 2024. Notice that their message mentions that they will hold on the item for FIVE days (screenshot below), so not sure why they are still calling me and not sending back to Brown. I called them back again today and have an automatic machine which had the option of 'sending back to the shipper' but was declined as I'm NOT the shipper.
On Brown's store side, I called on July 24th and told them that the pick up would be a problem and that I wanted to cancel the order. That was not possible on the store side, so we tried going to Fed Ex which as I anticipated didn't work (as mentioned) above. Waited 5 days (per Fed Ex notification) for the item to be sent back to Brown so that they can cancel and refund but that didn't happen. So I emailed and called back last week and was told the same thing as my first call, can't do anything will have to wait for the shipment to come back for us to cancel. I reiterated that I did go to FedEx as instructed and was declined and requested that Brown call them and ask them to ship back to the store so they can do the refund. I was told to wait for ten days, not sure why it's 10 days when Fed Ex message states 5 days ? I was told its 10 not 5, so not sure where is the disconnect. Yesterday was the 10th day and Fed Ex is calling me again today and they only have automatic machine. I feel stuck and my daughter's birthday surprise is ruined and my money is stuck with Brown and have no idea when this refund will happen. I was also told that after the refund is processed, it might take another 10 days to hit my credit card which is surprising as whenever there's a refund it's instantaneous. But at this point I don't even know what needs happen for me to even get that refund. Give me my money back please. Thank you

My husband and I were shopping in Sherway Gardens and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Claudia. She was spectacular and got him fitted for shoes and ordered online as the store did not his size. I was not planning on a purchase but she was wearing a fabulous pair of shoes and got them for me to try on and buy!! She has a delightful way about her and a wonderful energy. Many thanks Claudia….

Tried my shoes on by my door and was worried about sock lint being stuck in the shoe (white shoes, black socks) would impact returns. Contacted customer service via the chat. They were very nice and helpful. Got my return done and my refund issued fairly quickly. 10/10 customer service.

Will never be back in this store
Will never be back in this store. Third hand perspective, was sitting in the store trying on shoes when an old woman walked in with a cane looking for shoes. One of the workers was sitting on the counter, when the old lady came up to her asked her where the walking shoes were. Without looking up the girl points and says “over there somewhere.” When the lady asks for help again a few minutes later, the worker groans, rolls her eyes and goes to help and proceeds to stay on her phone while talking to this lady. I was absolutely disgusted.

I bought a pair of boots! I wore them few times and the leather ripped.Very frustrating...I think they were used already when I got them. Very expensive and not worth it! Products look beautiful some of them but for the expensive price they don't last.

If I could give them a lower score I would . Such a pretentious company and there horrible customer service and online shopping. I bought a pair of Lacoste sneakers but had to cancel an order and they haven’t refunded me for a cancellation made on December 30 2023 . They tried to claim it’s the bank fault and on there end it’s saying it’s been canceled. It is know January 12 and of course I called the bank two days ago and they told me to wait 2 more days to see if the refund was coming ? Obviously, I knew it wasn’t going to be returned or else it would have already it’s obviously browns fault making me waste time by calling them numerous times telling me it’s not there fault but no refund has been given ? Know I have to wait like another 2 weeks or more for the bank to get back to me as I had to put in a claim against browns shoes . So it seems like there to lazy to look into it further and keep giving the customer the run around . So my bank can flag my account know . Because of the fact that I had to put in a claim . And they can start harassing me also . It seems like they work together as a team ? 😂. Because of incompetence from a store that have the nerve to look down on shoppers because they way people dress to go shopping . I don’t know why I made a purchase i said I would never shop here again . I hate browns shoes . There so greedy and there products are mostly garbage and they charge so much . Just holding up my money or watch them try to rob me . I wrote this review before I got my money back ? That’s how much I hate a greedy company . I want to be compensated for holding up my money for 15 days so far plus I have to wait until the bank investigates . Oh brother the big investigation.

I bought a pair of wishbone Sally shoes and few days after its zipper broke and now they are useless to me. I asked a salesman who worked there about what I should do, he said bring it back. I took the shoes in and the girl at the store said they cannot do anything to help me. I will never buy any shoes from Browns again as this is my first time experience.I would give them zero stars.
Credit Card Charged 18 times!
They couldn't get an order to go through and kept trying.
Well.in the end my credit card was billed 18 times for a total of al.pst $1000!
It's now been days with no response or word of a refund and I've spent over 2 hours on the phone. Next step is a credit card dispute. But these take time and I needed this card as a deposit for house renos. Browns has screwed me out of that! Never again will I shop this store or recommend it at all!
