Terrible company - avoid at all costs

I was forced to rely on this awful company (known variously as Brunel / Green Tomato / Travelhire) for numerous journeys over several months due to the account I had to use.

Pre-booked rides were often terribly late (e.g. over half the rides were 20mins to 1.5 hours late), or didn't turn up at all. Drivers were often instructed to request cash, despite instructions to the contrary on my account, resulting in some unpleasant arguments and repeated, unnecessary admin for me.

Most drivers were lovely, though clearly unhappy with their employer, often explaining lateness due to the job being allocated only minutes before pickup time, regardless of their location. Other drivers however were aggressive and rude with a very poor command of English and I often wondered whether they would dare speak to a man the way some of them spoke to me.

When I complained to management I was treated with snide disrespect and nastiness by their owner / director, Johnny. They were being paid around £100 per day to get me from A to B, but treated me as if they were doing me a favour. Polite complaints were interpreted as 'unconstructive' and 'emotional' and it was made abundantly clear Johnny couldn't care less about the appalling level of service they were providing. There was even a veiled accusation implying some impropriety in my use of the account, intended perhaps to discourage further complaints about lateness.

I contacted the account holder and got my account moved to a reliable, pleasant cab company that charged far less and has never once messed me about.

Were do I start sorry to say but they are the worst company I ever worked for wake up 5.30am to get a job get nothing they give out jobs to the drivers they know you call the control room they don't pick or they block you not a very fair company you give them hours they give you nothing please stay away.

Very RUDE staff who have no patience

Very RUDE staff who have no patience, was told by Lee Cooper that he was doing us a F****** favour by letting me return the car, absolutely disgusting company.

I have instructed our business and other users to no longer use your services.

Never rent car from them as they…

Never rent car from them as they charges £400 for any scratch on the car. Their policy is to change the whole bumper for half inch scratch and pass the charge to customers whereas simple £10 paint job would do. Basically they charge customer for changing the bumper but I doubt they do it in real and keep making money from the next customer if they are not aware. Avoid it unless you want to burn money.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, the employees dont care about their job .
1. We agree on £195 a week than you rise to £220 a week
2. I didn't agree and sign the second contract for £220 and you didn't let me know in advance you will change the price .
3. The state of the car was bad , very dirty and have a nail in the tire on the collection, so I have to take it to KwikFit to change the tire. Looks like the car didn't been check before given to customer.
4.the staff told me to clean the car and send the recipient to brunel to be refunded . You never refunded that. And i given you the car back cleaned to avoid charge of £50.
5. you ignored my emails so whats the point to email you

They left me stranded.

I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere today after a booking failed to turn up. I was given a Brunel by Europecar account today as my car was off the road. The first booking turned up 30 minutes late. The second never turned up at all. I was left stranded. I called to complain and they were so rude. They were suposed to get back to me and let me know why they didn't turn up. I'm still waiting. They also knew I was disabled and did this anyway. Worst customer service from a terrible company. I was shocked by the way they responded. They couldn't care less.
