The electric plug wasn’t Lon enough to reach the outlet…so a electrcal extension card was used which I didn’t think was safe and the insaller said “he wasn’t a electicion….so I’m in the process of having a electoriion come and doing it right. I thought after spending close to $5000 and being disabled I would have compete proper installation

I have had my stair chair for a month and I love it. Rides smooth a little noisy.

We feel we made the right decision! The chair is very comfortable and sturdy. The rail is extremely strong and blends nicely with the room and stairs.
We do have a suggestion - re: the hardware that is totally exposed after installation. I did a lot of research on how to fix this unsightly, unfinished look. I tried to get help from Bruno but to no avail. I finally turned to Google and my computer. I found end caps (lug nut covers) on line, figured out mm versus inches and ordered 4 different sizes in white and light gray (very limited color choice). Purchased the closest spray paint color and sprayed them. Snapped them all on and VIOLA! What a difference! It now looks finished. Cost was about $15.00. We think Bruno should consider including this in the final installation.

The stairlift has been working properly since it was installed. It has turned out to be a real help to us in navigating the steep stairway from our main floor to the basement. It would be a great addition if there was some way to speed up the unit, because it moves extremely slowly.

Product seems very sturdy and has everything you may need for safe usage. Glad to support a fellow veteran, the whole experience from sale to installation and use by this 88 year veteran and his wife of 65 years has been a God send.

My husband meet Bruno rep one week and the stair chair was installed the next week. The stair chair was resasonably priced. The install went smooth. The installer was polite and courteous and answered all our questions. The only thing we wished we had known before hand was about where the plug-in would go for the stair chair. Thank you.

We like the Bruno Elan Stairlift product. They are both running well now. We are appreciative of the phone and on-site support from Lynn Ferguson.
We were not satisfied with the initial installations as follows:
1. The basic preowned basement stairlift did not run smoothly on the track and the track gears had to be repositioned.
2. The obstruction switch was not set properly and had to be recalibrated in order for the carriage to operate after only 2 days.
3. The carriage would not move after a week of operation because the footrest had a loose wire.
4. The new upstairs stairlift with all power features was noisy and the track had to be greased by Lynn just 2 weeks after installation.

Perfect fit in our stairway and easy to operate.

It doesn't operate quietly as they claim, making a lot of grinding noise, super slow going down stairs about 50-60 seconds for 11 steps only. You have to keep holding the button to go up and down. It is not one push button. Dissatisfied with purchase
