Thieves that pretend to be honest.

At first everything was going great. I wanted to create a little social experiment. Nothing crazy. All I did was request a loan, but I was totally honest about what I was going to do with the loan.
I put up 100% collateral. Meaning, Very little Risk for the lenders.
In the loan I said that I was going to gamble this loan at an online casino.
Not much longer the old man Casimer puts his 2 cents in and says "I would never loan to anyone that gambled".

Which doesn't make sense. Anyone who puts up the money on this loan is protected by my 100% collateral. The Collateral I used was Dogecoin and LiteCoin. Two very good currencies to use at the time.

Needless to say my loan was funded. But I decided to payback the loan the very next day.

During this time I have also invested in many other people that use this website. I had invested easily over 1k in cryptocurrency. I was active and I always paid my debts.

For some reason Casimere (the owner of the site) has my account banned. I have 24 hours to remove my cryptocurrency.

They allow me to remove everything in my wallets except my bitcoin. It had to be approved.

They also didn’t allow me to get any of the cryptocurrency that I had invested in either. They stole all of my invested bitcoin and also the bitcoin in my wallet.

This was the second time they have done this to me.

The first time I felt I had a lot to do with why I was banned. I was talking crap to stupid people on the site. So i thought ok, of course i'm going to be banned.

But I liked the website and really wanted to see if I could make some money with investing.

This time I didn’t talk crap to anyone. I was very careful not to make this mistake, and I still had gotten banned.

BTCPOP is robbing people. Not everyone, but a lot of people have gotten banned just like me and this thieves are to blame.

So far, so good

So far, so good. I don’t quite understand what everything btcpop offers, however, its faucet seems to be working well. I tried to withdraw a small amount of blackcoin after a day of collecting and the transaction went through immediately!

Awful experience

I found their website very hard to use. When I first opened the account it didn't actually tell me an account had been opened under the name I chose, it seemed to time out, so when I tried again it told me I had gotten my password wrong. I think I may have created 2 different accounts but I'm not even sure their website is so poor. I put in a few minor coins to experiment with the platform. Every time I wanted to log in and check my balance it insisted on SMSing me a number. When I tried to log in a few weeks later I used the wrong login (I think) and it told me my account was locked due to the password being wrong until some timestamp that meant nothing to me. I tried again a few times after waiting fairly long intervals and wasn't able to get in. It wouldn't let me reset my password either and wasn't displaying the error messages when I tried to log in. I wasn't even sure if I had gotten my password wrong or if I had used the correct one but the account was locked. I then spent a day in fruitless discussion with whatever passes for their customer assistance. They assured me I had some sort of key generation program or something (which I never did, I always had an SMS code sent to me) and when I tried using my passphrase (which I had written down) they claimed it didn't match. They assured me that 'their other 300k members' never had any problems with their website (I very much doubt they have that many accounts with active balances). Then they insisted I had been sent an email with my new password (I hadn't and it had told me that my account was locked) and the very rude person who was 'helping' me claimed that as I was refusing to look for this email they hadn't sent me they were going to close my accounts (I only had one) and accused me of 'trying to log in from three different countries' (no idea what they were talking about). So I have lost about $5 worth of coins and they have lost any possibility of me doing real business with them. If you want some children operating a website holding your funds then use BTCpop. The whole thing looks like a racket, all the BS about how they loan cryptocurrency to startup micro businesses sounds like utter rubbish to attract scammers hoping to 'borrow' small amounts and disappear.

BTCPOP - Bad capcha, Bad Estimation, Bad trading pairs

The staking is quite nice but they do not have any pairs beside BTC so you cannot exchange at a reasonable rate.

Their value estimation is not accurate. I have no idea how they are working it out but I cannot seem to get that value from the coins on their system.

Their faucet uses HCaptcha which is the worst captcha system ever. It always fails until it does not fail and has no accessibility options despite them saying they do. I turned it on and it just gives unreadable text.

So is your rating for hcaptcha or for btcpop?
Value comes from coingecko and if a coin is not on coingecko then from our exchange for the last traded price.

So Far, So Good

A lot of these crypto sites seem to have a way of screwing you by having vague rules deeply hidden whereby they can suddenly decide to keep all your money and there is nothing you can do about it. KYC (Know Your Customer) is one of the methods.

They suddenly spring something on you and won't let you withdraw unless you do something difficult, and if you can't, well tough, they keep your money. Two sites have done that to me.

So far I have put about 1500 dollars in and got about 1000 out, and as far as I can see the other 500 is there and I feel fairly confident I'll be able to get it when I want to.

Meantime it is sitting there as PKOIN earning interest, with a sell order for a good price, so if someone buys it, fine, and if not well that's fine too.

The site is quite easy to figure out. I have yet to try out features like lending or borrowing, and mining is there too if that's what you're interested in.

The faucet can be claimed every hour I think, or maybe even 30 minutes. It's higher paying than most faucets out there, and easy enough to do although it would be way better without the horrible hcaptcha which I am sure is a secret google project so that theirs is not the worst captcha in the world.

and a nice organized scam there are…

and a nice organized scam there are coins that are not linked to their blockchains, you can buy them with btc and then you can no longer withdraw them, be careful and again some coins have disappeared from the wallet once the price has risen, ,, I do not recommend absolutely, P.S.I'm updating the review for why btcpop gave me some explanation regarding my complaint, and in fact it's not a problem with their platform! but rather of the coin in question bitbay I apologize to the platform
