..what's promised is not what you get!..
Bad salesmanship..
I finally got through to BT..
'sorry I was too generous in my grading.
BT and I contractually agreed on a monthly rate.
A week later I received a bill twice the contract price.
I paid the the contract price but BT went ahead and discontinued services and charged me a penalty £7.50 for late payment (now withdrawn)
I then asked BT to suspend services for 2 months since I am going to be away and that I will resume payments July.. they answered N0!
BT was in breach but I must pay for their breach and services I don't need for 2 months !!!
Switching.. BT says I pay a penalty for breaching a contract! plus adverse Credit record..

Rude, unprofessional, infuriating

1 star because they at least paid for a return label after days of negotiations..

PS5 failed 3 days after delivery, not BT shops fault of course.
I needed a replacement immediately (gift for family member) so tried to resolve with them but there’s no contact number and their website wouldn’t load. Ended up buying another system from a local retailer, that’s where things went from frustrating to infuriating.

Every single reply on email was dismissive and blunt, failing to answer questions and deflecting concerns. Ridiculous return policy and completely refusing to help for 2 days despite repeated explanations, they just don’t care.
I decided that I would just keep the additional PS5 and not take their pathetic refund ‘offer’ - how bad does customer service need to be to make you want to spend £479.99 more to avoid having to deal with BT shop? So poor it’s almost funny.

I eventually got passed to a store manager who emailed a link to their terms and conditions (which didn’t load because their website doesn’t load) and was told that they would not reply to any further queries.

Do yourself a favour and buy from a human being and in person even if it costs you more, because if something goes wrong you do not want to have to deal with these clowns..

You have been warned!

Delivered to wrong address 10 miles away.

Terrbible initial experience with this retail website. £439 Xbox delivered to wrong adress 10 miles away. Emily on chat said she would open an enquiry with Parcelforce, then cut me off on chat. This is no good to me when i need the item now for a birthday present. Not shopping here again.

Avoid this company if you can

Avoid this company if you can. I ordered a very urgent item, a phone, for the following day. There was a claim that 2 deliveries were attempted, and missed delivery cards left. None of this was true. Days later I am offered to either try another one of this fake deliveries or to receive a full refund. I ask for an immediate full refund as I am still without a phone and need to buy it from somewhere else. I am told I have to wait as they will hold on to my money for 3 to 7 days. 12 days later still no sign of a refund. Customer service is inexistent and there is no accountability or solutions offered to help you out of a pickle they are responsible for.

BT Shop breaking consumer rights act

Bought new Apple product from them and unfortunately it was dead on arrival (Apple support confirmed this too later). Went online to order page and item says non-returnable???

BT Shop emailed saying I had to pay myself to return this, they are breaking consumer rights act and wonder how many other customers they fob off with this false information.

I will be reporting them to trading standard and letting my credit card do the disputing. I will not be buying again from this store.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service - not sure anyone is actually working there.

Ordered an item online for christmas, the order looked like it went through but no payment was taken. Queried this via customer service and was told the order didn't go through and the order was cancelled. That didn't bode well, so I ordered the same item from a different company. A week later the order from BTShop arrived and money was taken from my account - queried this with them again and they suggested I return it, but despite repeated calls and emails to them, I cannot get the return documentation from them to do this (they don't make it easy to do a return). It's now a few days before christmas and if I'm being cynical this seems like a dishonest tactic to make it as difficult as possible to return items during the christmas period.

My advice is to avoid, and order from somewhere reputable with a decent retuns policy!

Terrible customer service

I orderd an microsoft keypad for a christmas present which was the cheapest price by some way i had found. Placed the order and received my order confirmation which stated it would arrive in 3-5 days. When it did not arrive i called up and was first told they do not hold that product themselves and the delivery date was showing early january. I told them it was a Christmas present and the delivery date on their website did not say that. They said no money had been taken as they do not take money until an item is shipped which again the BTorder confirmation did not say. Since the price was 40% off the original. I kept my order. I received an email 2 days later saying they tried to take payment and it failed even though i had more than enough in my account. I went straight onto the website to reorder and the price had shot up! I Called up to complain and i was told i could have it delivered in 3 days now but only for the new higher price.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DODGY COMPANY!!!!

purchased a Samsung TV for my partner's Bday on the black friday sale, when we opened the box shockingly inside was a completely different and cheap looking TV! After unsuccessfully trying to call the customer service dept for 2days (which had been shut down due to them being very busy) we finally got through to someone who said this will be looked into and resolved asap.
Long story short, a very unhelpful manager called Alex contacted us to say sorry there is nothing that can be done as the supplier has said the TV was sent out and that I needed to contact my card provider to get this resolved! This has been by far the most shocking, disgusting, horrendous and appalling customer service I have ever come across in my life!!! Not to mention I am also over £500 out of pocket due to this issue, right before Xmas!!! I would also like to make people aware we were advised by the manager (Alex) that BT shop is not part of the main BT company and they are a separate entity and not associated to BT which just simply sounds extremely concerning!!
I will be taking this issue right up to CEO of BT Philip Jansen as the whole BT shop dept is not worthy to be an online company. This company is a total scam and operating like a mob with it's own set of rules, no regards to consumer laws whatsoever!!
I will also be sharing my experience all over social media and other review sites to warn others to simply stay away from this awful and dodgy company which is clearly giving BT a bad name!!!!!
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS PATHETIC COMPANY!!!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Bt shop and bt are I suspect breaking some laws re misseling as they claim they are nothing to do with each other. They lie and live off there trustpilot reviews. Maybe see an item and go elsewhere and haggle the price and let's get bt out of the market. Philip Janson run a bunch of liars robbers and bullies.

Appalling Service
After Spending most of the day being passed around by the customer services department being told quote " We don't have any record of your sale" & " We don't sell that item" even though I have the receipt on my screen and you website with the item listed!

Then cut me off.

Phoned for the third time and then got told
"Yes I can see your order but nothing to with us we are a just an agent?"

Well I know distance selling laws and you are required to replace the item as it is faulty.

Well a simple call to Natwest Card Services will resolve the matter when the sales is charged back on to my account for £527

Next time I'll stick to Argos always great customer service
