This is the first time I have used…

This is the first time I have used Bubblegum balloons and it won't be my last! execellent service they came the next day and were beautiful infact the pictures don't do them justice.

I'm so pleased that I will be using them again at the end of the month and would highly reccommend.

They don't deliver on time.

I sent it as a birthday surprise. 2 days after the birthday, the balloons were nowhere to be found. I wanted a refund, but the customer service didn't get back to me either.

Did not deliver in time

Undelivered in time due to delivery company. We were waiting at home, tracking the order; then suddenly got a message saying "We missed you". We were waiting outside next to the door. This was for a birthday today. No balloons. They said they will now deliver tomorrow, not in time. They need a more reliable delivery partner. I see countless reviews of people missing their delivery.

EDIT: They arrived a day later - was DPD's fault, not the balloon company. Great balloons. The brand was kind and nice about the issue as opposed to ignoring, so review has been bumped up.

Warning ! ⚠️

WARNING – My Child’s Birthday Was Ruined by Bubble Gum Balloons ⚠️

I ordered birthday balloons for my child’s birthday with a confirmed delivery window of 15:25–16:25 on 27.02.

They were never delivered.

No phone call.
No message.
No warning.
Nothing.

I spent the whole evening trying to contact customer service - with no success.
The following morning I was trying to explain to my child why the decorations never arrived.
The balloons were a key part of the celebration. This was my child’s birthday!
A once-a-year moment that cannot be repeated or “refunded”. No beautiful photos , no laughs and happy smiles!
Our whole family was left stressed, upset and trying to fix a situation that should never have happened.

Only later on the next day they informed me the balloons were “damaged during transportation” and the order had simply been cancelled - without informing me at all!

As an “apology”, they offered a 15% discount on a future order.
Honestly, it felt like mockery.

When a company takes money for time-critical children’s events, they take responsibility for memories- not just products.

Parents , please think carefully before trusting companies with moments that matter to your children.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how upsetting this situation was, particularly given the importance of the occasion.

Following an investigation with our courier, DPD, we confirmed that the parcel was unfortunately damaged while in transit. Regrettably, we were only made aware of this by the courier the following day, which is why we were unable to notify you sooner on the delivery date. We acknowledge that this delay in communication was frustrating and sincerely apologise for that.

As soon as we were informed, we contacted you to explain the situation and offered the option of a replacement delivery. As the balloons were time-sensitive and the event had already passed, this option was understandably declined. In light of this, we processed a full refund for the order, which has now been completed.

We appreciate how disappointing it is when plans for an important family event do not go as expected, and we regret the distress this caused. While damage in transit is outside of our direct control, we take full responsibility for resolving the matter appropriately, which is why the full refund was issued promptly once the situation was confirmed.

I was worried after reading reviews…

I was worried after reading reviews about missing numbers, but my experience was perfect! Communication was clear throughout, and the balloons arrived exactly on time. Everything was precisely as ordered—I’m so relieved and happy it went smoothly! Truly great service that I would highly recommend for any celebration.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed - ordered balloon stack for my sons first Christmas and it arrived with the personalisation completely come away from the balloon- tried contacting within office hours on 23rd December only to get automated reply saying they’re out of office until 29th! Disgusting service and ruined my babies first Christmas! Don’t buy from this company

I absolutely love Bubblegum Balloona

I absolutely love Bubblegum Balloons and use them every time I'm looking for Balloons. We have different ones out as decoration for different seasons/events. They last weeks in my experience. I had an issue with a partly deflated Balloon arriving recently, I sent an email and got a reply within 15 minutes offering to send me out a new balloon for delivery next day! Fantastic customer service in my opinion. I will be continuing to use Bubblegum Balloons 🎈

UTTERLY USELESS!!! Only 1 out of 2 balloons recevied.

I ordered the number 15 in balloons to be used for my 15th anniversary celebrations and only the number 5 balloon arrived, and, obviously, this is useless on its own, and unfortunately for me that I didn't check the reviews BEFORE my order, as it seems that this is a recurring theme with this company. People that order 2 balloons regularly complain of only receiving one of the balloons.

Following my complaint stating my legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I have been fully refunded by the company. At least that...

The parcels leave our warehouse together but at times these can get split in transit, something we are trying to work with DPD on. This is why we try and advise upon checkout to request a earlier delivery date in case of delays that may occur. This would have given us time to resolve the situation ensuring you had both balloons for the occasion.

“Perfect Balloons and Excellent Online Service!”

I ordered balloons online from Bubblegum Balloons for my mum’s birthday, and they were absolutely gorgeous! The ordering process was really easy, and the balloons arrived perfectly packaged and exactly as shown on the website. I paid almost 100.00 for an 18th…

I paid almost 100.00 for an 18th birthday balloon stack. Only the number 8 arrived the day before my daughters birthday. When I finally got through to the company they promised they could get the number 1 to me by 10am next day which would be too late as my daughter would bo doubt be running down stairs long before that. A number 8 no matter how lovely the balloon would have been very disappointing! Instead one of my own team drove to the shop to collect the number 1. Thank goodness she did....as in the box was another 8! I managed to negotiate a 50 percent discount but quite frankly given the stress, the loss of an employee having to collect for me, Im more out of pocket than the full price and I have more grey hairs too. Don't get lured in by pretty balloons at INFLATED prices. Card Factory may not be as pretty but they would have been less stressful and I would have been better off! Remember though, it's not Bubblegum Balloons fault as they kept telling me....DPD out of their control apparently. I assum DPD forced the contract on them.....

We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to receive only part of your daughter’s 18th birthday balloon stack the day before her celebration. A milestone like this deserves to be stress-free and full of joy — not last-minute collection runs and frustration.
We're especially sorry that even the replacement contained the wrong item again, which only added to your stress and inconvenience.

We are sorry our agreement to the 50% refund, along with replacing the stack within an hour of your colleague collecting is not satisfactory to you.

Although some delivery issues do fall outside of our direct control, fulfilling your order accurately in the first place is fully our responsibility — and for that, we take full accountability. We are urgently reviewing how this was handled, both on our end and in communication with our courier partners, to make sure mistakes like this are not repeated.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, I ordered a personalised balloon bunch for my triplets 18th birthday & when the box arrived there was just one single balloon. I made contact with customer service & was told that my order had been split on two deliveries? Why you would split a balloon bunch into two deliveries makes no sense. I was told I would receive the second delivery the same day. I paid a premium delivery charge to receive my delivery before midday. I never did receive the promised second delivery.

Proceed with caution

Proceed with caution. I ordered balloons for my children’s birthdays. On the first occasion we were disappointed as the personalisations we had asked for did not materialise despite many emails. The helium stars only stayed inflated for two days even though we had followed instructions. Giving the company a second chance we ordered for another child, The boxes arrived battered with one balloon completely deflated and another large one very limp. We ordered the day before the birthday and as soon as we took delivery we reported the problem by the phone. No help offered over the phone and customer services has an out of office from 3pm. Not until midday the following day did I get a response offering a replacement for just one of the balloons or half the cost as a refund. Too late for a replacement and only received a fraction of the balloon bunch’s total cost. I wouldn’t recommend as I had two birthdays ruined.
