I recently attempted to use the promotional code THANKYOU25, which offers a 25% discount. However, during checkout, the system automatically applies a lower-value "anniversary" discount (in my case, £4 off a juicer), and blocks customers from removing it to use the better THANKYOU25 code instead.

This is not only misleading but deliberately engineered to prevent customers from benefiting from the full promotion.

Despite reaching out to customer service to report this issue, and despite them acknowledging the problem, I was surprised and disappointed when they refused to refund the difference or honour the full 25% discount.

If the THANKYOU25 code is not intended to be used, or is effectively disabled by backend restrictions, then it should not be promoted on the site. Doing so is deceptive, damages trust, and gives the impression of a bait-and-switch tactic — something no reputable brand should engage in.

At the very least, customers should be able to choose which discount to apply, especially when one clearly offers a better deal. To advertise a 25% discount and then override it with a lesser value without giving users control is both unethical and poor customer service.

You need to avoid this company! Typical of the country of the owner everything is backwards! Their warranty does not work! I purchased an item less than 2 months and it broke. They want me to purchase a filter when it’s still under warranty! They will dribble you up and down with nonsense words and waste your time just to avoid sending a replacement! Your item is defectives but I’m the one that has to pay for the item which is supposed to be under warranty! Forget all the reviews they have gone down hill! If you have any issues with your item you are on your own! Stuck with a heavy object that does not work. Barely two months used a handful of times should not have broken! Be warned! All the reviews are paid for!

I ordered a digital blender from Buchymix UK, but they sent me a manual one that’s £10 cheaper instead. I’ve emailed their customer service, but no response at all. There’s no working UK contact number either. You can’t even get them on WhatsApp.

This feels very dishonest and misleading, especially since I paid the full price for a digital model. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from this company, communication is nonexistent, and it seems they ignore customer complaints.

I’ve kept all order confirmations, photos, and price differences as proof in case it’s needed.

I bought a juicer from Buchymix for 263.94 in July and was sent a malfunctioning equipment, could not reach customer service on phone to return it. Tried to reach them via email and the representative would not give me a return address.They instead sent me another part which still didn't work. Worst African brand.

The buchymix blender is one of the best blenders ever. I got the soundproof blender, it's so efficient no issues at all

I got a juicer recently and had issues with the delivery, I sent a mail to buchymix customer service and I got a quick reply. The lady helped me with my issue and I got my product. Thank you buchymix

They are frauds, I ordered since July and I am yet to receive it.

At first I was worried I would not get my package because I couldn’t track my order .. thanks to the representative who answered by the name of Erika I was able to get the correct tracking number I received my package today and am so happy that I was able to blend my beans within seconds this blender is excellent … thank you buchymix

I recently got the hand-free cold-pressed juicer, and I am so happy with its quality.
It is quick and convenient for making fresh juice in the mornings made my kids Apple juice this morning and they loved it..

I received my buchy mix blender juicer and Iam in love I was able to make myself an apple ginger mixture juice with ease !!

Bought a food processor in July and it has stopped functioning. Got in touch via their customer support and was told that they are in the process of changing their UK business partner which should be onboard the following week. It has been 2 weeks and they are not responding to my emails

I heard about this Buchimix Soundproof blender from a friend and decided to give it a try. it does what it says on the box and i am quite impressed that for the power it carries it is quite silent. Looking forward to using it more for my african dishes.

I accidentally clicked on order of a juicer through their shop and tried to cancel the order immediately, because i already have one of the juice, but the system wouldn’t allow me to. I contacted customer service several times over the course of a week with no response. About two weeks later, I finally received a reply apologising, admitting that UK customer service is currently poor, and saying they are working to improve it.

Shortly after, I received another email stating that cancellations are only accepted within 48 hours—despite the fact that I had contacted them immediately after placing the order. I even provided proof that I already owned the same juicer, but they still shipped the product and refused both a return and a refund.

To make matters worse, the juicer’s filter tore within just two weeks of use. I emailed them again to report this issue, but have received no response to date. The only reply I got was from the US team (whom I copied in), but they simply told me to contact the UK team—which I had already done repeatedly.

Overall, this company’s UK customer service does not align with UK consumer laws and falls far short of expectations, especially given the high cost of their products. I am still waiting for a resolution regarding the damaged filter as I write this review. Please think carefully before ordering.

I could give zero star if opportune to. I ordered a blender and juicer on the 29/7/2025 got delivered 3/8/2025 in the UK. Unfortunately I was send a broken juicer. I’ve been in contact with them via emails and after one week plus I was told to wait for atleast 8days that there UK team is having problems and they are transitioning to a new team waited till the 10th day zero update I sent another email and I was asked to wait till September 5. The customer service line I’ve been calling is pretty useless because all they keep saying is I’m in the USA and can’t do anything. So why have a business in the UK. I’m currently devastated and have so many questions.

I bought the buchymix juicer in March and stopped working in May, I contacted the customer care, they responded once and told me to do something, it didn’t work, I got back to them and they refused to respond. It’s really disappointing after all the hype about buchymix. I was going to buy the blender but I cancelled the plan immediately.

Good product. Ordered for 2 items but only one was delivered. Had to deal with the customer service rep in Lekki who was very rude. No response via email and IG. They need to invest in customer care as they do in marketing with influencers. Staff need to be trained on how to speak to customers
