I booked a ticket for my daughter and the name came up as me under the ticket. All her derails were there but my name. Budget said there was nothing they could do as no changes were permitted. Sucks and i am out the cash evidently.

Beware of this business BudgetAir!!! I had to undergo chemotherapy for cancer and they refused to send a refund request to SAS Air Scandinavian Airlines for 7 weeks despite a Doctor's letter. SAS kept telling me they would give refund but refused to communicate with me in writing and said they would only communicate in writing with BudgetAir. It's been a nightmare talking to BudgetAir representatuves. Avoid BudgetAir like the plague!!!!

The process was clear, simple and effective, this is my second time booking through BudgetAir. Side note: there were many bad reviews the first time but I decided to go with my instincts & booked a domestic flight anyway and there were no issues at all. Thank you!

BudgetAir is Absolutely the worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. They do not care about their customers. They act like they are reading from a script and do nothing to help you. They left me with a 1 hour layover where I have to try to get off 1 plane and onto the next in 1 hour. If you have traveled before you all know it takes 20 - 30 minutes to get off a plane and then they close the doors 30 minutes prior to takeoff on the connecting flight. So at best I might have 5 whole minutes to get to my connecting flight. All the customer service rep did was tell me that if I cancel my ticket is non-refundable and if I miss my connecting flight I will have to purchase another ticket. Makes me wonder if this short layover is done deliberately. I will NEVER use Budgetair again. NEVER EVER !!! Everyone .... do yourself a favor and book directly with the airline !!! Then they have the nerve to throw it back in your face with their reply stating THAT I BOOKED THE FLIGHT ... No kidding ... Why don't you put it in your reply that every flight EVERY FLIGHT HAS A SHORT LAYOVER ??? I don't see you telling potential customers that bit of information !!! I take responsibility for missing the short layover but in all honesty I ASSUMED MY RETURN FLIGHT WOULD BE THE SAME AS MY INBOUND FLIGHT BUT THEY ADDED AN EXTRA STOP. EVEN MORE REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THE EXTRA STOP IS DONE DELIBERATELY TO CAUSE PEOPLE TO MISS THEIR CONNECTION.

First time booking with BudgetAir and it was a 10/10 experience! I searched every site over the last 20 days, but BudgetAir had the cheapest tickets by far. Great prices and super easy to book

Sold me an unusable international ticket and never warned me about the transit visa
This was one of the worst travel-booking experiences I have ever had.
I purchased an international ticket through BudgetAir for travel from New York to Manila on Saudia. BudgetAir accepted my payment, issued the ticket, and sent me messages indicating that everything was ready for travel.
What BudgetAir did not tell me was that the itinerary required a transit visa.
I discovered the visa requirement only because I independently checked the itinerary before leaving for the airport. Had I simply relied on the information BudgetAir provided, I could have arrived in New York expecting to take my flight only to discover that I could not travel.
Even worse, the ticket was sold so close to departure that there was no realistic way for me to obtain the required transit visa in time. Once I discovered this, I had essentially no choice but to cancel the ticket.
I lost more than $600 as a result.
This is what makes the experience unacceptable to me. BudgetAir sold me an international itinerary without clearly warning me about a visa requirement that could prevent me from using the ticket at all. A travel company selling complicated international itineraries should make critical transit-document requirements extremely clear before taking a customer's money.
Trying to get help afterward was nearly useless. BudgetAir appears to have essentially no meaningful customer service beyond online chats and automated messages. The chats did not solve the problem. There was no effective human assistance available when I was facing an immediate international travel problem involving hundreds of dollars.
I was left with a ticket I could not realistically use, no practical way to obtain the required visa before departure, inadequate customer support, and a loss of more than $600.
Had I not independently investigated the visa requirements myself, the situation could have been even worse — I could have traveled all the way to New York and discovered there that I could not continue my trip.
I will never book through BudgetAir again. Saving a little money on airfare is not worth the risk of discovering at the last minute that the itinerary they sold you requires travel documents they never clearly told you about.
Book directly with the airline. I wish I had.
