Wouldn’t touch this company ever again

First window fitting one window was measured too short. Waited weeks for the nee window to be filled. The windowsill was lop sided, they came back out and sent the same two fitters which I asked them not to.
Now the old windowsill can be seen below the nee one.
I about to complain again. I wouldn’t touch this company

I always use Budget blinds and again…

I always use Budget blinds and again they came up trumps. I wanted to change the colour of one of my bedroom blinds after decorating. I was getting visitors and was running out of time. Within the week Budget blinds had been out measured up and managed to squeeze me in for fitting. I cannot recommend them enough….until the next time!

Ordered almost $12K of blinds and…

Ordered almost $12K of blinds and curtains from Budget Blinds located in Vero beach, FL.

Big mistake giving them 75% of the order up front.

The blinds were delivered either defective or incorrect. We were supposed to get black out shades for some of our rooms and did not get them.

We still have a paper shade in the master bedroom.
It's been over 4 months and we still haven't had our order fulfilled correctly.

We are hoping that this order will be fulfilled soon. If not, we will request a full refund.

It’s just a poor product

It’s just a poor product. You’ll have to lift the blinds from the bottom to open them all the way or if you want to adjust the slats you have to twist a rod. God help you if you have arthritis in your hand or wrist they told me that’s the way it Has to be these days due to

To Charles and DeAnn Strickland, owners;
After a few months and $4,586.40 later, they want to charge us for a truck roll of $75.00 to fix what they should have done right the first time!
Two of the pull channels, holding the chains, keeps rubbing against the shades and causing it to scrape the shades causing wear on them! Several of the channels are high and some low, and two of the chains are loose! One of the top roller shades clutch mounts are crocked, which I have asked before to have straighten out. We have spent several thousand dollars for their expert services and what should have been done right the first time hasn't. It will not be done because I will not pay the $75.00 for their trip charge!
Had trust and confidence with their company and even drove to their showroom in La Verna to select some products!
We paid a deposit $3,439.80 to start and at the end of our $791.59 payment, we kept getting calls every day to pay up! Hounding us to hurry and pay. Telling us they were going to charge the rest on our card!
I know I should not have to pay the trip charge for it being their mistakes!

I wouldn't go any where for my blinds. From the girls in the office to the guys who measure and fit the blinds so courteous. They look after you well; any problems with your blinds they would come out right away. First Class Budget Blinds.

Amazing service

Budget blinds came out and measured up and helped me select lovely fabric last year. Fitted them on our day of entry. Came back later and completed the house at our convenience. Had a wee problem with roller yesterday and they were fixed the same day ! Amazing quality service and highly recommend.

Excellent service from Kilmarnock branch. Gary who came to measure & quote & the fitter ( didn't get his name ) and I couldn't believe how quick he was, were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Office kept us up to date with progress an times Love the blinds. Good quality and excellent prices. Definately recommend

Blinds and curtain hardware

I ordered blinds and curtain hardware for a new residence from Budget Blinds in Westborough MA. They sent out a designer to assess my needs and place the order. The designer listened carefully to the look I wanted and then made outstanding suggestions. The blinds were installed within the expected timeframe and the installation was also outstanding. The price isn’t “budget” but the outcome is top notch.

Best Blinds Company in South Florida

This is an awesome company. I enjoyed the personalized service we received. The roller shades installed are of top notch quality , blocking out the sun as well as the heat. Also it provides privacy at night. I will refer them to all my family and friends. You cant go wrong with a company that has been around for 30 years.

I had a lovely experience with Budget…

I had a lovely experience with Budget Blinds. After getting 3 quotes and measurements from other companies we decided on the one that really measured. He took measurements to ensure all blinds were of equal length (something the other companies did not do) and once they were installed they were beautiful. I highly recommend them for shutters. They arrived a month earlier than other companies could produce and are beautiful.

I do not recommend purchasing window…

I do not recommend purchasing window treatment from Budge Blinds. I purchased 4 motorized dual banded shades in November 2020, which included a 5 year product warranty. In the spring of 2023 there was an issue with one of the shades. I repeatedly called Budget Blinds having to leave voice mail messages. Not once did a receive the courtesy of a return phone call. Terrible customer service and no follow up. Disgusted customer

I hate leaving bad reviews but Budget Blinds has been the worst company to work with. Their prices are much more expensive than Home Depot. We still went with them because we really liked the gentleman they had come out to do our quote. We ordered in January and it's almost June. It took them 4 install appointments. 1st they cancelled morning of because they didn't have all the parts. Wait 30 days. 2nd install they had the wrong doors. Wait 3 days for a manager to call. Wait almost 2 weeks. 3rd install was to install a broken shutter door so we at least had a little privacy. When we asked for some resolution the manager stated they had been more than accommodating. I was shocked! They had done nothing to get our shutters installed let alone been accommodating. We had sat home for 3 separate days for an install at that point. When I stated I hate leaving bad reviews but felt that we had no choice, she stated go ahead, that’s fine. So disappointed in their quality and lack of customer service. $2200 for shutters for one sliding glass door and this is the nightmare. All of their products are made in China and is why it takes 60-90 days for the first install and 20-30+ days for each screwed up install after. They do not offer refunds or returns. So once they have your money there is nothing you can do. You pay upfront at the very beginning to get the order going. The shutters are not even good quality but after all this we know we’re stuck.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES AND DO NOT USE BUDGET BLINDS. Terrible management, terrible customer service, and poor quality.

BELTWAY BLINDS

I'm back!!!! And still no blind installation. I was due to have my blinds installed again today for the 5th time and once again, the measurements were wrong for 3 of the windows! To my surprise, after almost 6 months of mishaps, incompetence and unprofessionalism, the installer was able to install 2 out of 5 blinds. This is now at the point of insanity. After the installer left this morning with the rest of the useless material, no one from the company had the nerve to reach out to me. Again, use this company at your own risk because I do not believe this company is legitimate, they just want your money and to waste your time.... if I could give zero stars I would!

Who controls where I spend my money?

I can only buy blinds on the east side of my home city because I live on the east side of my home city? Huh? Customers have to comply with Budget Blinds rules for franchisees? Understandably, the Franchise Contract can limit where a franchisee may advertize via mail, or conduct door-to-door soliciting. But control where I spend my money? The company thinks that they have that right?

That was my experience a few weeks ago. I walked into a BB store with a blind that needed replacing. I smiled and said, "Can I please order 2 blinds just like this?" Her response???? "What is your zip code? " Huh? Unprecidented in my 76 years.

So I went to local Home Improvement store where I usually purchase bird seed and screwdrivers, and ordered 2 blinds. They have arrived, they are lovely, they are installed, and you missed out on a $500 order.

Frosting on the cake? Now you tell me how to compose a complaint. Some control problems at your company???
