Really good quality seed at a great price. We had a small issue but this was rectified quickly with a replacement packet and an apology. I found this to be an excellent company that I'll certainly be using again.

Over email, the company confirmed they are a second website of Pretty Wild Seeds. Yet to see the quality of the seeds but the customer service is poor. When I chose to order directly and asked for a price match to their Amazon price over email immediately upon placing the order, the response was "There’s little I can do if you had all the information in front of you, and opted for the more expensive option?"

When sending my order, there was a mix up with my seeds and someone who lived locally. No issue, mistakes happen.

However, when I emailed them I was extremely concerned to receive a phone call from the company advising that they'd given my address to the other customer and advised him to come to my home to swap the seeds. Not 15 minutes later, a stranger was banging on my front door which I opted not to answer. Had I been asked if this was acceptable, I would have had less of an issue, but the lack of consent was extremely troubling.

When I addressed this with the company, I received a very unprofessional, defensive email filled with disingenuous apologies and lessons on morality such as 'Personally, I come from an area where that’s what people do, you help people' and 'it’s a shame that in 2026 trying to solve an issue can cause something like this, but it’s a sharp lesson learned'. It completely bypassed Steve at Budget seeds that this was a business/customer relationship and that giving out my personal details was a complete breach of GDPR. I truly do hope that the sharp lesson was learned.

Also I still haven't received my seeds in the post. I will not be buying from this poor excuse of a company again.

Mediocre approach to customer service. Deceptive advertising and refusal to honour legitimate refunds. Don't waste your money.

Communication with company continued. Was told that the lack of of response was caused by a technical issue. The effort to chase it up is appreciated and there is not reason not to give the benefit of doubt so rating and title adjusted accordingly. Rest of review will be left original for the sake of accuracy in showing company response to my claims and comments.

First time using this site, they had bulk quantities available which is exactly what I was looking for so thought I would give them a try.

I put in my order and took delivery in good time and everything to that point was fine. On inspection I had found a mistake was made with my order, no issue these things happen. So I contacted them on the same day on a Tuesday (so within the 48 hours they demand). It is now a Friday and I have heard nothing back, seems the 48 hour rule does not apply to themselves. An incorrect order being sent is not a big deal to me if you can contact customer service and get it sorted, but that does not seem to be the case here.

Trust pilot name does not match what I ordered with on the the seed site for reasons that have been understood for the last 20 years. How is sending an e-mail to an e-mail address that has already received no reply going to help? Surely you could look at the e-mails that were sent Tuesday to see which one mentions an incorrect order instead of trying to publicly trying to call me a liar after only doing a quick spot check based on an internet alias.

The website was easy to order from, I received my purchase very well packaged and promptly.
I bought am the Bee key cupboard as a house warming gift and I am very pleased with my purchase.
It is well made and the decoration on it is pretty

Only used a couple of times but they do seem to be a pleasant honest company, netting was a good price as were the seeds and all delivered in good time. So far the seeds I have sowed all have a good germination rate, will use again.

very few seeds germinated and grew, very disappointing. made my order in May and planted when I should and looked after as I should, have a few years experience with plants and my greenhouse, I will not use again, Budget seeds yes, but very low success rate, I will pay more for my seeds next year, with reputable well known names, think the Rhubarb is dead too, Chilli plant ok

Ordered a selection of vegetable seeds
Courgette seeds turned out to be white goose seeds (invasive weed).

Very good value and fast delivery. The packs are small enough for individual allotments or gardens with a very good variety.

Great experience with this company. I ordered seeds on Tuesday, they arrived Wednesday. All in stock and everything I ordered arrived with no issues. Great communication and really good price.

I ordered 2 plug plants but they were in soft packaging with no marking to say they were live plants. The postie squashed the package through the letter box resulting in damaged plants that were flattened and broken stem on one. I did take photos and contact budget seeds but have heard nothing from you. Also only 4 out of 10 beans have germinated. Updated 24th April. One plug plant died and the other is hanging on by a thread but has not grown any bigger than when it arrived.Complete waste of money.

Sorry to say.......
But I spent a fortune on seeds back end of last year, and not one has germinated, I thought I'd try a different supplier this year having read good reviews. I've had older seeds that have germinated along side but non of these, from Peppers tomatoes other veg, and a wide range of flowering ones, not one seedling!
A few weeds have popped up instead.
Be back to my original supplier.
Edited to say, how can it be a local problem, when other seeds from elsewhere have germinated no problem, not one seed has germinated at all.
I'm not after a refund either just thought others should know. I've been growing for donkeys years so have full knowledge as a grower.
I understand as a seller this must be infuriating to receive bad reviews, but here it is. It's not personal.

Great variety of seeds at very competitive prices. First time I have ordered and would highly recommend.

I have used budgetseeds.co.uk several times now. I am more than happy with what I have received.
It's cheap, never had a problem with the seeds and the delivery is reasonable and quick.

Easy site to use. Plenty of choice and seeds arrived quicker than I expected. I will definitely use you again.

Fast delivery. Rubbish runner beans. 2 out of 25 sprouted and they were weak. Eventually I sowed some seeds a friend had saved from last year in the same compost and all sprouted.

Seeds arrived quickly and are as good quality as I would to expect from any supplier who charges for seeds with pretty packaging. Like that they come in quantities that are useful. Love the prices. Customer services also excellent. Would like a little more varieties of certain plants but that’s me just being ambitious and enthusiastic.

Fantastic! I trust this company and have now used them several times after they were recommended to me by someone. I had been greatly disappointed by Seed Megastore, a horrendous company to deal with. They took my money and didn't send the seeds I ordered and I sent multiple emails and had to almost lodge a complaint before they finally refunded my money more than 4 weeks later.

Thankfully that awful experience resulted in discovering Budget Seeds. Ordering on the site is easy, your basket doesn't empty after a few hours so it gave me time to choose and decide what I wanted. Only minor tweak on the site I think they should do is to allow you to delete just single items if you accidentally add multiple of the same to a basket as on the phone version you have delete all of that particular multiple item, search for it again and add just one again to your basket again.

Deliver only takes a few days and the packet are packege in a bubble mailer.

I hope they will grow their range of unique or rarer varieties of veg so I can buy even more :)
