This crap couldn’t predict what is 2+2… always shows rain when there is nothing outside. In my profession I cannot rely on it which I did few times and that cost me staying home for nothing…
Now you can either pay or be have your data scraped... I thought it was illegal not to have an option to reject "personalised ads" here
It is raining like hell in this moment in Amsterdam and if i look at your ( useless) radar the weather seems dry!!!
Yesterday exactly the same. How is it possible to make so many mistakes??? Is your radar expired??????
I have deleted the app months ago but i will permanently block also the website because you guys are just a waste of time for the people.
Data is outdated, suddenly clouds start appearing from nowhere. What a joke.
Cash grab app nothing more.
Just as reliable as the goverment.
Useless app that cannot even predict closely how long a shower lasts and where it occurs. It is more often then not of by hours and miles, while it is one of the easiest things to model in metrology.
I wonder where they went wrong cause their basis consists of good meteorologists.
They aren't very accurate and fair with their forecasts and rain expectations. It wouldn't be so bad if their 14 days forecast graphs turned out wrong, but even 2-3 hour forecasts can be taken with a grain of salt. It happened to me too many times that it rained when they claimed none was expected and the other way around. I see these predictions on and off, 16mm (0.63inches) during the week but once the dates come closer it is suddenly adjusted to just 1 mm or it completely disappears. Oh golly, that's quite a difference!! Same with the temperature forecasts. 2018 was the summer of nightmares for Europeans. It was heaven to sun lovers, but it was hell to everyone else. Each day I would look at the 14 day forecasts and each time the prediction was 23 degrees (73,4°F), but again, when the dates came closer this would change on and on constantly, to 25,27,29,31,33 and finally 35 (95°F), like that horrible summer was for almost three entire months. Gee, what's the point of consulting buienradar then?? I can do that too! Imagine if I was a doctor and I would tell you the birth of your baby is gonna be a girl, five months in and it's a girl, 3 weeks -2 weeks still a girl and then 1 day before delivery, oh it's a boy, congratulations! That is how I feel about buienradar in a nutshell! You can also check for UV radiation and what not, especially during the terrifying hot summer of 2018 that was of utter importance, but I wonder for what reason. During that summer extraordinary high uv-radiation index values have been measured but it was never to be seen on buienradar, let alone to be predicted. Could you believe that a completely different website has more accurate predictions than a local one for a very tiny country? When I went on a holiday to the Scottish west-Highlands, two weeks prior to departure four consecutive days of entirely dry cloudless weather was predicted for late September, and my thoughts were like: OK, sure, for the Scottish Highlands? That cannot be right, but they were!! And several other websites are far more accurate than buienradar. When you are wrong so many times, the consequences are that you are no longer believed. I still don't understand why so many people still consult this website.
It's supposed to be the best Dutch weather forecast resource, but it seems guys have played too much with caching. Charts, radar and hourly tables are all showing different forecasts. You can even see different forecasts from two laptops standing next to each other! The Android app also often shows something different from that on the website. Still useful but very untrusted. Certainly don't use it as a single forecast source
