Having been in contact with them since January on a TV unit build (alterations to their standard design), early impressions were good. However when it finally came to actually finalising and placing my order I was suddenly told that they were not taking any more orders “due to how busy they are”.
This is a very worrying sign of a company that simply can’t cope and lack the resources to be able to extend any kind of help to their customers.
No other form of help was offered, just simply that they can’t do it.
A whole load of wasted time and effort.
Avoid!

I contacted Build Our Bed with an enquiry about bespoke sizing of one of their standard products.
It us now 4 weeks since my initial enquiry & to say that communication is poor is an understatement. Responses to emails take several days & there is no acknowledgement of anything you send. Phoning them is a total waste of time as you end up on hold having been reassured that you are 1st or 2nd in the queue only to end up on an answer machine after holding for 20+ minutes & be told that they can't answer your call! Why not just put you straight through to the machine rather than wasting your time on hold for no reason!
Based on their dire customer service I will not be placing any order with this company.

Ordered a Kensington sideboard and bookcase in walnut veneer, furniture looks stunning, delivery driver was excellent, but quality of the finish is disappointing. Probably wouldn't have bought if I had seen in person before ordering online.

Amazing company, built me a bespoke bed - exactly what I wanted.
Communication and service from everyone I spoke to was fantastic, friendly and helpful. From customer service team, to the carpenter to the very lovely man who built my bed - you are an asset to your company!

Bought the Hinkley platform bed and love it! Had a slight issue after 2 months with the headboard fixture on one side but as soon as I highlighted on email Lauren in customer service within 2 days organised to have new screws sent to my home. I’ve now fixed the bed so thanks Lauren :). Cannot rave enough about this company not only are the products lush the customer service is a cherry on top!!

The quality of the bed is amazing. Was delivered when stated and was also updated in the delivery ETA

We approached Build our Bed for a custom designed media unit based on their standard Oxford range. The service was excellent from start to finish and the furniture was built exactly to our specification. Great customer service and really happy with the finished product.

I found Build our Bed through Pinterest ads while trying to find inspiration for Japandi style bedrooms.

I was sceptical at first as there were not much information or reviews online about Build our Bed online. Nonetheless, I ordered their "Robinson Storage Bed" with some modifications, and about a month later, it was delivered through their White Glove Assembly Service.

The folks delivering, and assembling the bed were careful to ensure they did not damage the bed or the surroundings. After they had assembled the bed, they also polished it, and explained how I can look after it.

Overall, I was really pleased with how the bed turned out! Incredibly well crafted. I will likely be making another order in the near future. Thank you all!

My only feedback is that they should work on improving their customer support, and communications. I had to follow up for updates, and the delivery date kept changing. Understandably, they are a relatively new company, so some of this may just be early pain points.

Truly feel let down by this company! Not only is the quality is poor but also wasn’t sent instructions or strews to be able to put the bed together. When we did try to put it together the slot is a hole and keeps coming apart so my son’s new bed doesn’t work! When enquiring about a refund we have been told that we can’t return the item and that despite our bed not matching the pictures from the instructions there is no problem with it. Livid is an understatement

We chose a bespoke TV unit. And we asked for quite a few very specific, Lauren was exremely helpful in making sure everything was correct and It is absolute perfection. They were extremely accommodating with the date of delivery as we had building work And the delivery guys were extremely respectful of our home.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

The most fantastic purchase of a bed ever. The only bed we could find that fitted our criteria. Fantastic customer service-responded so quickly to my email asking to delay delivery due to a carpet fitting. And then when they delivered we paid for the service to have it built too and I’m so glad we did. They were on time, super friendly, went above and beyond in all ways. I cannot fault them. Everyone should buy beds from here!

Nice quality, well made and though we initially had a small issue with the wrong size slats sent, one of the team came down to Birmingham on a dedicated visit to cut them down and build the bed for us. Great customer service and really friendly carpenter who came to resolve our problem painlessly. 10/10 highly recommeded!

i ordered both a oxford unit, customised, with extra draws and f and b babouche finish, the staff helped me with my queries about sizes and finishes and also got the unit done and delivered quickly too! would recommend highly!
