I’ve found BuildPartner to be a very user-friendly platform and extremely straightforward to use. It’s clear a lot of time and thought has gone into building it, and that construction professionals have been heavily involved in the process.

The team are also always on hand - typically within a couple of hours at most - to help with any issues and get things rectified quickly.

I started off as a customer of this company many years ago (dare I say when it was in its infancy), and being so impressed with the quality and level of detail of the estimates provided, I soon became a subscriber to the software.
Creation of accurate cost plans myself was quick to learn (and now takes hours, rather than the days I would spend prior), thanks to the extremely helpful and accurate Templates, together with the extensive library of “tasks” and materials.
The support from the extremely knowledgeable staff at BuildPartner is very helpful, and they are always attentive to queries with exceptionally quick response times.
Everything within the software can be tailored to your individual needs, but that being said, often you will find you don’t need to change anything at all.
I’m super excited for the future, as I know from experience that the software is always evolving and I understand there is AI integration on the horizon, making take-off from plans even easier.
If you have any doubts, take advantage of their promotions and trials…….what have you got to lose???!!!

Build Partner is my go-to software for pricing up all my building work. It’s incredibly easy to use, fast, and super efficient. Not only does it save me hours of time, but it also produces detailed, professional quotes that clients can easily understand. It’s made my process smoother and my business look even more polished — I honestly wouldn’t use anything else.

What a great platform, we are a firm of Architects and have used it multiple times to great success, and we've met many great Contractors on here too. And a lovely bunch of people to boot.

We discovered Build Partner around 12 months ago through their social media and it’s been a game changer for our business. I run an architectural design company producing plans for 200–250 home extensions each year. Before using Build Partner, we were manually producing costings for clients, which was extremely time-consuming.

Now, thanks to the software, we can provide accurate cost estimates both at the quote stage and during the design stage, while massively reducing our admin time. Even when costing very early in the design stage—before all technical details are finalized, the software consistently keeps us within around 10% of the final costs, which is hugely reassuring for our clients.

The add-on services are also excellent. For example, Build Partner can take our initial costings, review the plans, and provide a full QS-style breakdown at a fraction of the cost of a traditional QS. We’ve already referred three external building companies to Build Partner, and each of them has saved thousands in QS fees.

The platform itself is intuitive and easy to use, and the customer support has been fantastic, whenever I’ve had a question, I’ve always received a same-day response. In under 12 months, we’ve already created more than 250 projects in the system, which shows just how valuable it has become to our workflow. At around £5 per costing, it’s incredible value for money, and I was blown away by the amount of detail the reports provide.

Overall, Build Partner has made our processes faster, more accurate, and more professional, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This is clearly a useful tool in handling the complicated nature of building works, especially projects like ours. Hugo and James are great to deal with and I would recommend making use of Build partner in your projects.

We have found BuildPartner a really useful tool to guide our initial fee proposals and test the feasibility of projects from the concept design stage through detailed design and also as a helpful reference to compare to external tender returns from builders. The interface is intuitive and the customer support has always been excellent

Within the studio we have embraced BuildPartner to help us give early stage cost advice to clients. When it is time to tender, their in-house qualified Quantity Surveyors make sure we have an accurate Schedule of Work which gets returns back within a couple of weeks. And finally, we have used the benchmarking data to verify variations made on site. A lot of great features within BuildPartner that allow us to provide better a architectural service to our clients.

Hugo and Leo have been great to address any individual issues that we have with the platform. And they have taken our feedback to make the service even better.

We find the program really helpful. Both as an initial feasibility but also in the detail costing. Unfortunately we haven't made use of the tools all the way through construction but the initial stages are so helpful in giving clients a good understanding of where they are playing and what the costs are going to be going forward.

I used BuildPartner for a recent appraisal for a property development scheme and found it incredibly useful. First of all it is quick. I sent across the plans and the appraisal came back that same day. Secondly, it’s detailed. All the costs were broken down across the different build stages so I was able to make a decision on whether to pursue the project further with a much greater level of insight than appraising on a £ per sq ft basis, which is what I do normally. Finally it’s great value. £50 for all that information is absolutely worth it for a developer given the gains you make in productivity and insight

We have used build partner and worked with Hugo and Leo for many years now. They have always been a great help to the business and nothing is ever too much trouble. Would highly recommend working with them and using the product for any contractor out there who struggles with pricing or even finding the time to price their work
