Falling apart after a year…
I’ve had my bag for just over 2 years and have been really happy with it for the most part… however, it’s marketed as being very durable and tough, but the shoulder straps are pretty fragile under a heavily loaded bag. As a coach, I put water bottles in the bag, my tablet, extra clothes, shoes, etc. and under what I consider to be a typical load for me, I noticed the strays starting to wear at the seems after about a year. I’ve had basic bags from Nike and The North Face and other brands over the years that have lasted twice as long without this kind of wear… and those bags were significantly cheaper.
I would urge everyone to really evaluate whether or not the cost is worth it based on your activity level. If you’re looking for a bag to last you many years (3-5) I’d suggest looking at other options. If you’re looking for a really cool bag and don’t care about longevity, then it’s a really great choice. If this bag had lasted me another two years without falling apart at the shoulders, I would’ve given it a 5 star review for sure.
