Great products and service

Great products, good delivery, good service. Even though something wasn't quite right with my order, they corrected it and were so pleasant to deal with. They are clear about their delivery timeframes and the bulbs and tubers I have had from them have been top quality.

Mislabeled begonia tuber

My first order arrived on time. They had great service. Great communication But ive given a one star because after waiting 4 months for the tuberous begonia to flower, its not what I ordered. They acknowledged it is not what I ordered and it was their error. There was no apology. They did refund. However I can't trust them to supply what I ordered, so i won't purchase from them again.

Absolutely outstanding service from…

Absolutely outstanding service from Bulbs Direct NZ! The communication was fantastic — friendly, clear, and prompt. Their prices are very competitive, and the quality of the products exceeded my expectations. Delivery was impressively fast, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

The best company to deal with!

Bulbs Direct are hands down my favourite gardening company to deal with. The Gravatt family and staff have never put a foot wrong, with impeccable customer service, great products at great prices, honest and prompt communication. I love that my freight even comes with a hand written note on the box - it’s their attention to detail and friendliness that puts them at the top. I have been purchasing from them for many, many years and not once have they let me down. Any queries I have had have all been resolved promptly and with grace. If you are considering purchasing their fabulous bulbs then go for it - I’ve always been very, very happy with my purchases, in fact I’m about to jump on and order some freesias ❤️

Mouldy soft bulbs

I purchased tulip and daffodil bulbs on sale. Although it was the end of the selling season I did expect the bulbs to be in good condition. Several gripes: 1. The order took over a week to be processed and couriered, then almost another week to be delivered. With end of line bulb purchases time is of the essence and I was disappointed with the delay. 2. The tulips bulbs were not of saleable quality. Most of them should have been discarded. I bought 200 bulbs and I would estimate that 100 of them were mouldy or soft. 3. I immediately emailed the retailer and sent a photo and was told that mouldy bulbs should grow fine. I was invited to return the soft/rotten ones at my cost for a partial refund.
This is the first time I have purchased from them and I will not use this retailer again. I have purchased end of line bulbs probably 20 times before (from other suppliers) and never had this problem.
