DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! MAKE SURE PEOPLE READ THIS FIRST!

*update* after emailing back and forth with this company and communicating with the rudest customer service department, I can legitimately say: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Poor quality, poor customer service! I wrote my review on Wedding Wire to give my opinion and experience. I was not asking for my for my money back but instead to justify what happened to my order. They have asked me to contact them and they will "investigate" the matter. Which I did and since then the emails back and forth saying why I did not call them to resolve this issue first and instead posting a "crappy" review about them. I couldn't believe it but they called my review crappy and accused me of making assumptions while I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. "I understand your frustration but find it equally frustrating that you wouldn't pick up the phone and call or at the minimum email us prior to posting on Wedding Wire - posting a crappy review online is typically a last resort after not getting satisfaction from a vendor - you never even gave us an opportunity to rectify the situation" "Additionally, your flowers were shipped directly from our facility in Vancouver, not Toronto. In the future instead of making assumptions you should really just pick up the phone - you may be surprised how much open and honest communication works." After this they offered me $50 credit for their store. If I had the luxury of calling of time them at that moment, I would have and complained to the fullest. I regret that I didn't call as I was busy with other preparations and also trying to get REPLACEMENTS for my dead flowers! In the end, I had no answer to what has happened even after being provoked and disturbed by their company's C.S. I demanded for a formal letter of apology from them for the lack of professionalism. So far, they have not responded and I'm not going to waste anymore time arguing with them over email.
**********************************************

I ignored those other reviews about flowers being delivered in a horrible and unusable state and I was thinking to put in a word of defense for these guys after I got my order, as I didn't think they would do business like that. However, when my order came and seeing my flowers, the last thing on my mind was to give a good review.

Since my wedding was on the 28th, as recommended, the flowers need time to hydrate and open to its fullest. So I got them delivered on the 25th. The flowers were unpacked and taken care of - stems were cut and conditioned within 2 hours after arrival. In the box, I had Roses, Alastroemerias, Freesias, Wax Flowers, Calla Lilies, and some filler greens. There were some rotten plant material in the box but I was not sure where it came from, later I figured it was from the Calla. I ordered 30 stems for Alstroemerias and they came a little wilted but after some water, they all opened nicely. The filler greens were all fine. Then the 25 lavender roses had 3 rotten bulbs which infected other roses around them. In the end, I was left with around 18 acceptable roses for use in my bridal bouquet. Then there were the white Freesia - what a nightmare. There were the most dehydrated things ever; all shriveled up. I was hoping they could be hydrated. I left them to drink for the whole day Thursday but they did not come back. So I was running to my local florists looking for freesias for my bridal bouquet. Next thing that had me were the Calla Lilies. They came with the protective plastic on the head but the flowers were already turning brown. Let them to hydrate same with the freesias, they became more brown and rotten. Therefore by Friday afternoon, I ended up throwing out both the Freesias and Callas - that was $119.60 right to the compose bin.

This overall experience has left me short on flowers to make my bridal & bridesmaids bouquets, Boutinieres & corsages, etc. panicking to find replacement flowers for my bouquet designs, and $120 worth of flowers that I couldn't use because they were dead. I can say sarcastically that this has been a wonderful experience and a challenge to my improvisation when I had millions of other wedding things that needed my attention. Now, with that said, any DIY brides-to-be out there, spend a bit more and buy flowers from the Granville Island Market or any other high quality food market. With these guys I would go as far as the greens and Alstros.

Absolutely unacceptable flowers!

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Friday June 20 for my wedding on Sunday June 22. After receiving my flowers I noticed that my cala lilies were rotten and the lavender and orange roses both had brown edges along with my father boutineers which was literally falling apart and smashed. I immediately call them only to get an answering machine where I left a message stating that if I needed to send photos then I would but needed someone to call me back to verify. Long and behold I never received a phone call so I emailed them on Monday afterwards stating that they needed to refund my money for the terrible product that I received, only to get an email back saying well you didn't give us photos within the 12 hours of delivery so oh well we can't refund your money. After bantering slightly the only thing they did was give me store credit for the cala lilies, but why the hell would I want to spend more more money and time with this poor excuse for a company! I wouldn't even waste your time with them, just spend the little extra money and go elsewhere or get cut flowers from your local farmers market or even grocery store!

HORRIBLE FLOWERS AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

SHAME ON a company that says BS on their website and screws up so royally and doesn’t take responsibility for their bad flowers. I am Jennifer’s mother in-law and I was disgusted of the product they produced to her and stress all of us out. I actually called their company and the girl that answered the phone said too bad and hung up on me. REALLY AND YOU OPERATE A COMPANY. I also asked for a manager to call me…..do you think they will……I WOULD BET NOT. No wonder you advertise saving up to 70% on flowers because they are wilted and smashed………………..

I think they owe my daughter in-law her money back since she had to go to Safeway to fix the flowers. A company with NO integrity is DISGUSTING. THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO ADVERTISE WHEN YOU CAN’T DELIVER QUALITY AND TAKE PEOPLE’S MONEY AND RUIN THEIR WEDDING…..

worst part of the wedding

Bunches direct screwed us completely. We received flowers Friday afternoon where the flowers were delivered to the doorstep and were left in the rain rather than waiting for the door to be answered. Upon delivery the flower tips, especially my brides bouquet, were browning. We tried calling and emailing to resolve the issue to no avail. We were not contacted until after the wedding Sunday! I understand that there is a policy in place to send photos in the terms and conditions but with no customer service there was no way to amend the situation. We have photos still to which they are unwilling to accept. Once we were able to speak to management they were cold and unresponsive once again. I will do my best to recommend people from staying away from this business and the risks involved when dealing with a company like this

Horrible flowers and horrible customer service

I ordered 200 flowers from Bunches Direct and followed the care instructions exactly. 100 of the flowers turned out beautifully, but the other 100 were atrocious. This proves that my care for the flowers was great and that I must have been sent a bad batch. We called Bunches Direct and the manager proceeded to yell at my husband and refused to work with us in any way. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone ever.

Wonderful flowers for an amazing wedding!

We purchased flowers for our daughters wedding in northern Minnesota, except for the boquets, boutonniers and corsages ( just in case!) I read up on the reviews of the company before placing the order. I was a little hesitant at first as I needed a lot of Hydrangeas and was not sure how they would hold up after such a long trip, but my daughter wanted a lot of flowers and Bunches Direct was 1/3 of the price of our local florist. I decided to take the chance and ordered 90 hydrangeas, roses and a variety of other flowers and greens. There was a little problem with getting my confirmation email but the people in customer service were so awesome to work with and did not give up until I received my email which they ended up having to send me from their personal email address. The flowers arrived two days before the wedding as ordered. They came via Fed Ex, packed in three boxes all wrapped together. We open the boxes and prepared the flowers as directed with the exception of placing the heads of the hydrangeas in water, then placed them in the basement until the wedding day. The flowers were amazing! Since the price was so much less we were able to have flowers all around the inside and outside of the tent! We received so many wonderful compliments on the flowers from our guests and our daughter was so pleased!!As it turns out I didn't have to worry about the flowers holding up for the event after all, as they were still beautiful for many days after the wedding! If you want the free shipping you have to order 2 weeks in advance, I missed that by a couple of days as I did not read the fine print on the shipping page, just looked at the truck on the main page, also if you want the 10%off for giving your email address do it at least 30 days before you place your order. Even with paying shipping and no discount, the price was great and the quality and freshness was amazing! I would definitely order from this company again

WOW factor

My now-wife and I compared prices and guarantees online and settled on bunchesdirect.com. After chatting with a very friendly and knowledgeable person we placed our order online. Two days before our wedding the bouquets and other flowers arrived. A bit of trimming and watering and everything was beautiful. We saved anywhere from $150-450 (local florist) on our flowers. Thank you BunchesDirect !

Great Value - Great Service

BunchesDirect.com is a great online wholesale flower company. I am a wedding planner and have used them numerous times. I can't say enough terrific things about them. They offer competitive prices, great customer service and fast delivery. On one occasion there was a shortage of a particular flower, but they notified me in advance and offered to refund me or to substitute with another flower. This is the nature of the flower business and you need to be able to adapt. I was very pleased with how they handled this and it was not a problem at all, it just proved to me how professional they are to work with.

Customers always comments on the freshness of the flowers, and how beautiful they are! This company allows me to make more money on the weddings I plan and I recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely Extraordinary!

This company is unbelievable! I ordered flowers for a DIY wedding and they definitely delivered!
When I called I wasn't put on hold or asked to press 10 numbers to get to an operator. It's a minor detail, but it's nice to feel important and not have to deal with cheesy elevator music. I explained to the operator what kind of flowers I wanted. The reason I called and didn't just order online was because I didn't know the names of some of the flowers I wanted to use, but the operator figured it out despite my explanation being kind of vague.
I hung up the phone with a smile on my face, and that smile was still there when the flowers arrived. They were so gorgeous and EXACTLY what I wanted. I couldn't believe my luck! They were all fresh and gorgeous, it looked like they were just cut!
I had a lot of fun making my bouquets. It turned out that I didn't need the few extra stems I ordered in case something arrives damaged or breaks in the process. I used them for decoration in my house instead. :)
Just a really pleasant service, I have nothing bad to say about them at all!
