Communication with this company is back in the dark ages, they dont communicate, told me vehicle will be at home, @latest 2pm, great , vehicle Rock's up at 11pm at night sat in yard all day, no phone calls , nothing, absolute jokers

A big thankyou to burke bros recovery they went above and beyond to help me after a daf lf. I bought died on a46 with coolent issues and a brake chamber failure .Ric who attend to us was a credit to company for his skill in his work and brought the problem daf back to leeds in good time and i might add the price was very fair .kindest regards simon sjm leeds

Absolutely brilliant service! Rescued us and caravan from a very busy M6. Wasn’t fazed when I asked if the RAC had let him know we were towing a caravan………they hadn’t!

If a job is through a breakdown company they drop the priority and keep you waiting !!!

My breakdown company sent this job almost 1 hour ago (9pm) to Burke Bro's promising recovery between 10.30pm-11pm at latest

When I phoned up to enquire directly with Burke bros at 10pm a lady answered the phone and stated "we haven't long had this job come through and you will be waiting at least 2 hours from now"

A big thank you to Matt for recovering me and my Freelander safely home in the early hours of 27th November. The AA kept changing the time of my recovery. I phoned them to get a real time and they passed my number on the Burke Bros. Matt then contacted me to tell me where he was and how long he would be. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the honesty of what the arrival time would actually be rather than the AA keep changing it by 5 minutes every 5 minutes for over 5 hours! Matt arrived, friendly and helpful and got the car loaded and recovered. He put me at ease, which is a big bonus being a woman on her own and I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and professionalism. An absolute credit to the company!

Great service after a 30 hour ordeal waiting for recovery I finally got put through to this company via the RAC and they turned up in the morning and drove me 101 miles home with no issues. Thank you so much for the driver I didn't catch your name as I fell asleep almost immediately. I know it is your job however it was a long drive and I really appreciate appreciated it

Amazing experience

I’d go direct to Burke Bros now instead of wasting time with the RAC who used them anyway. I’m certain they would’ve recovered me much quicker if I’d gone direct. My driver, Chris, was extremely impressive at his job and interesting to talk to on a long journey. He really knew what he was doing and had loads of experience. After a nine hour wait for the RAC, then being put up in a hotel, the Burke Bros recovery truck was a welcome and impressive site. Thank you so much for rescuing me and being so helpful, Chris!

We had this company take us back to Wakefield after the prop shaft joint broke they turned up within 2 hours will updates along the way the driver charlie was very polite talkative on the way home had a really good laugh I woul highly recommend this company and will be using this recovery firm the next time something happens

OMG!!! A BIGTHANK YOU ,I cannot say enough or thank these guys enough especially Melissa , she went above and beyond to get us home safely . On way to Blackpool when my Mercedes A class gearbox crunched losing power while in lane 3 of 4 lane's on the M6 before Stafford services at 8:30 am approx. Managed to coast car over to live lane 1 with there being no hard shoulder ( CLEVER GOVERMENT) , wow that was scary. I called Mercedes breakdown assist got told be there in 45 minutes then Highways turned up had us recovered off Motorway at a cost of £192. Then get told by Mercedes assist its going to be another hour.I have service plan with Mercedes ( I WILL NOT BE RENEWING IT ) which comes with their OWN RAC assist what a waste as Mercedes will only take you to the nearest dealership within 30 miles of your breakdown location , didn't tell me this & not home considering my local dealership is Erdington B24 & it worked out to 34 miles, i had to pay the extra for the 4 miles over ,the total massive sum of £3.00 yes that's right. Well after 5 hours being left stranded on a industrial estate we finally got a call from these guys turned up as said in 1 hour of them being told, The recovery girl Melissa she is a absolute legend & asset to this company. A very friendly chatty person who eased some of our pains and made sure she got us all home safely with a smile on our faces so THANK YOU Melissa and we hope you have a wonderful holiday. These are the guys to go to should you be unfortunate to breakdown they are caring , compassionate people and quick to come to your assistance unlike some.

My car broke down on m 6 and my wife i can not walk it was told that to people on phone about it than send a truck to As but she can not get in the truck and the driver get me to drive it on to truck and said to set in car on back off the truck e drive about 2 3 miles with as Sit in car I speak to people I no and what e do was a no no For that if e was in a Accident no one new will was in car I speak to my insurance company about this

I had broken down on the M6 en route to Scotland. Burke Bros were dispatched by my breakdown policy organisation and I can't thank Joey enough. Absolutely brilliant service and a great trip back to Swansea with conversation and laughs which were most welcome after a pretty rubbish day. Absolute gem. Thank you so much Joey. Credit to the firm.

After booking a call with the RAC and waiting 4 hours i received a call from them to say they had booked a call for a local recovery company to attend and this would be within the next hour and half. 35 minutes later Andy from Burke Brothers arrived and cannot praise him enough, he knew immediately what was wrong with the car. Chatted away while he fixed it and informed us of what the problem was. He then went through the fault checker and confirmed that there were no faults showing.
We could not fault the service we received and nice to be dealt with by someone who obviously enjoys what he is doing, even at 10pm on a Saturday night.

Nathan from Burke Bros recovery was excellent and could not have done anything more to have helped us. We needed specialized American RV recovery service for our Monaco Cayman, which is quite unusual to see in the UK.
Nathan demonstrated exceptional knowledge about our vehicle and approached the recovery with impressive expertise. His resourcefulness when dealing with our uncommon RV was remarkable - he clearly knew exactly what he was doing despite the uniqueness of our situation.
What really stood out was Nathan's combination of hard work and professional courtesy. He maintained a friendly demeanor throughout the process while efficiently handling the recovery. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made what could have been a stressful situation much more manageable.
We would absolutely recommend Nathan and Burke Bros to anyone needing recovery services, especially for specialized vehicles. It's rare to find someone with both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills, but Nathan exemplifies both qualities perfectly.

We were recovered from wales to Leeds. Our driver Ian was fantastic, he was polite professional and very helpful. I cannot recommend him and the service highly enough. Thank you for making our difficult situation better and a lot more bearable. Again, thank you so much.

Speedy recovery and very reliable, best place to use

We needed to be transported home after having the AA patrol man saying our vehicle could not be repaired at the roadside after breaking down on Thursday afternoon. Dispite the fact we had waited well over 5 hours, this was not the fault of Burke Bros. The Burke Bros recovery man was great, very professional and helpful. CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH FOR GETTING US HOME! The AA need to learn a lesson or two from Burke Bros on how to treat their members with the respect they deserve.

Was recovered from a motorway with a broken hire lorry, excellent service from the driver and the recovery truck had plenty of equipment to cover the little awkwardness the job threw up. Would be very happy to use again
