I ordered online and Chris is honestly such a kind and helpful person. The dresses I got were beautiful I cannot wait to wear them.
Chris does his absolute best to get the orders ready and stays in touch to let you know when they have shipped off and stuff.
I am really happy with everything and how Chris handles everything and communicates.

We had to look for a replacement wedding outfit after we were let down by the company we ordered from originally so we popped along to the Camden shop.

Maureen was so helpful and lovely and we ended up with an outfit that was miles better than what we had ordered from the other company. So happy. There's a reason we have been getting our clothes from here for 10 years.

Fine if you don’t need to return an item.

Took a month to get a refund and had to involve my bank.

Really bad customer service, ordered two items to try on. One needed to be sent back as too small.

Original email was ignored when asking about return policy.

Sent parcel back tracked and didn’t receive any communication.

Emailed again and was ignored.

Emailed again with a threat that I was informing my bank, got an immediate response!

Waited a week and still no refund, emailed again and was ignored.

Called my bank and reported them. Got an email the next day saying they were refunding me! Lolz.

Shame as their items are really nice. Unfortunately wont get any more business from me and I’ll be telling others to avoid too.

Maureen at the Camden Lock shop is lovely and genuinely cares about makes sure your fitting is perfect and clothing is very good quality. I also ordered from the website and there was a picking mistake as the wrong colour was delivered. Called the customer helpline and Chris answered, couldn’t have been more helpful and provided a new tracking number whilst on the phone. The best customer service ever. Will shop here again.

I've been using Burleska some years now and have been consistently impressed with both their products and their customer service. The clothing is always fab quality and well priced. I have quite a collection of Burleska clothing now and have never been disappointed with anything.
Online service is great, Chris always does his best to get orders out quickly and makes sure to call if there's likely to be a delay.
In store, Maureen (the older lady of the two who work there) is excellent, she gives honest opinions and is always friendly and helpful.
The one thing that occasionally let's the store down is the younger woman who works there and fails to greet customers as she's too busy playing on her phone and doesnt even look up when you enter the store...in fact I've never actually purchased anything when she's been in the store as she's never been interested in serving me. A shame as it makes the company look bad.

This company slanders others with lies in order to push their own business. They aren’t to be trusted.

What great and personal customer service! My UB Corset is amazing and fits like a charm. Also Burleska sent me a very lovely gift! It is an off shoulder blouse that matches the corset perfectly. I love the Burleska brand. Will order again for sure.

Ordered a dress for an occasion. Expensive item.
Item arrived - so cheap quality and not even resembling the item online .
I have returned immediately - waste of time and money. Asking for a full refund for item and postage - more updates if this does not happen.

Absolutely fantastic service. Quality exceptional and Chris at the warehouse should get employee of the year award. On my 3rd complete outfit from Burleska including lots of additional tops and skirts and can’t fault any. Next day delivery. Any queries quickly sorted. Thank you burleska. I bought a corset dress from Burleska's website, but received no order confirmation - the only proof I had of purchase was on my PayPal account. The dress arrived, but wasn't right for me, so I returned following the instructions on the website, which included paying for return postage.

3 weeks later and no sign of a refund (for £118, not a small amount!), though I have proof from Royal Mail that the package was delivered. I have tried using the contact form on the website and have emailed directly but no one has responded. The worst customer service I've experienced.

I wished to return a package and have been unable to get a response from anyone. Will never be ordering from here again.

I didn't get any information on my order I had to write to them multiple times to see the information. I ordered from a warehouse in my country and they were out of stock so they sent it from Britain. Considering they are not in Europe I had to pay 60€ for border crossing for one goddamn dress. This would be acceptable IF they informed me. They did not. The customer service response was pretty fast but this is absolutely outrageous. I will never be buying from this shop. I'm hoping at least the dress will be decent. If not I will be contacting the company further. INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE ORDER.

10/10 for this website. My bustle skirt was amazing and then i ordered a pinstripe corset top, jacket and skirt. But they didn't have the corset top after I ordered. So they let me choose anything from the website, even something more expensive and let me have that instead!! They also chucked in another top for free !! Amazing customer service and amazing clothes.

We ordered 7 corset that were supposed to be same. One corset was made of different material than others and the material used was very low quality. The outer layer of the fabric started to peel of after the first use of the corset and this one with the problem was more expensive than the others. We tried to contact the company but they didn't answer.

Initially I thought their service was great as the items were shipped quickly. However the skirts were far too big. So I returned them following the instructions on their website. I could see by looking at the tracking that the return parcel had been delivered to them but they hadn't given me a refund. After over 2 weeks of waiting I contacted them multiple times but got no response. Its been a month now and still no response or refund. Would not recommend this company.

Received my dress but needed to change the size, so after corresponding with Chris I return via there instructions costing £11:99!
I am still waiting for my refund and have been told it’s being dealt with but haven’t received. I have now been waiting over 1 month.

Since posting this review I have received my refund.
My dress is lovely and more than happy with it. Sad about the fight for the refund. Glad we got there eventually 😊

I went in for one dress and left with 2. Black widow had the same dress but wanted almost twice what I paid for 2 dresses at Burleska.

I ordered the carnation skirt brass taffeta and corset in brass taffeta, when it arrived which was extremely fast just a few days, it was nicely packaged and delivered in the time slot they said. When I opened it I was very happy with the quality of the material, unfortunately I made an error on the size and the skirt didn’t fit when I got in touch with Burleska they were extremely polite and helpful, I packaged the skirt and sent it back on a Friday and my larger size was delivered on Tuesday which is fantastic service. Thank you Burleska I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family. Gillian

What can I say other than what an exceptional service from this company. I have ordered several corsets from Burleska, all of high quality. Whilst nearly all of the corsets I have ordered have always been in stock and delivered the following day, on one occasion two days before New Year’s Day my corset was out of stock. I was contacted straight away by Chris whom offered me two alternatives which were near enough the same as my out of stock order, and I received my order the next day. I have purchased corsets from multiple companies but I have to say for value, quality, range and service Burleska wins hands down. I have received several free gifts from Chris, not something you would expect to happen given the quality and prices of Burleska clothing, as if you have purchased from other corset suppliers you will already know, Burleska prices are very competitive. I am looking forward to visiting the Camden shop in the next month, nothing better than actually feeling and seeing the corsets in the flesh. My husband has been well prepared to part with his cash as he knows I will not be leaving the shop empty handed, can’t wait!!

I ordered a skirt for my daughters birthday. I was called the next day to inform me that the item was out of stock and also received an email. In the email was an apology and links to possible substitutes.
The call I received from an incredibly helpful and friendly man named Chris, gave me options to change my order or wait 2-3 weeks for more stock. I chose to wait and received responses to my emails when I tried to check the progress.
The day the item arrived in stock, Chris called and emailed me to confirm and arranged next day delivery for the item. He then informed me that he had also sent a top as a gift.
The skirt and top arrived today, both a beautiful and lovely quality.
Excellent customer service, would definitely recommend.
