Very sturdy heavy metal shell but very flimsy plastic locking mechanism. I would be surprised if this survives even moderate use. Certainly not worth the hefty price tag. I managed to break one of the plastic code setting keys on my first attempt to set my code.

The product failed when just out of five year warranty - would not open. Two of ten pins on an internal component had broken. All the pins are delicate and brittle so they are obvious failure points.
The product is not easy for anybody to install and set up and it is clunky in operation. It is likely that heavy-fingered key pressing was responsible for the damage, but this is supposed to be a heavy-duty device, right?

Unable to get into my Burton KeySafe due to a keypad issue, I called the contact number.
I spoke to Karen who is friendly, helpful and took away any stress off possibly having to get a new keys are that I had.
Thank you Karen, your saved me. Someone please give this lady a pay rise.

I purchased a digital xl keyguard keysafe in February this year, after seven months and a lot of usage I had an issue with not being able to open it, I phoned my supplier and I got a call back from Burton Safe within the hour, they told me that they would have an engineer out the next morning to open and then replace my keysafe. True to their word the engineer has just left after removing and replacing my keysafe, I am absolutely delighted with the service I have received and am more than happy to recommend this company and their products.

Having bought a really old Burton’s safe from a hotel refurb, we came into trouble when the battery on the key pad ran out and we had no over-ride key. With our passports in the safe and a much-awaited holiday to France in a few days, we were a bit desperate! I could not have received better, quicker or more understanding service - for a small cost, an over-ride key was in my hands 24 hours after my call to them. Lovely company to deal with

Purchased a Burton safe yesterday from safe.co.uk - arrived next day. The safe is fantastic quality, heavy and feels very sturdy. Certainly going to keep people out!

From my experience with this company, I would recommend them.
I lost a key for an internal draw for my safe.
I rang them up and there customer service was very polite and helpful. Within no time they sent me a key and it now functions normally.

Poor waranty of products that is hidden behind a "2 year warranty" claim. They look for any excuse to make a service call out chargeable and don't allow you to see the thing causing the issue, or watch them fixing the safe so you have no way of disputing the spurious charges.
These charges easily amount to several hundred pounds.
