Terrible

After several very good experiences with this company my latest experience has been terrible. They sent me things I didn’t order and I still haven’t received an item I did order. Initially very responsive and now ignoring my multiple emails and a phone call leaving a message. I won’t order again.

Amazingly good quality, well made product

I bought a umbrella, base and chairs, and was absolutely delighted with the quality of the products, and even the packaging that it came in.

Highly recommend these, I am rarely surprised like this, and I am very delighted with my setup.

Purchase two beach chairs at full price…

Purchase two beach chairs at full price at $499 each .
I asked if they ever have sale on, was advise on those particular colours rarely do they have a sale.
Only used once, those particular beach chairs are now reduced to $199 each .
That is a considerable $600 loss .
Not a nice feeling for a couple of weeks.
Stay away from full price items.

I have purchased the whole set through…

I have purchased the whole set through Anthropologie and literally every piece is faulty, very expensive investment for something that looks aesthetically pleasing but extremely poor quality. Anthropologie refusing to refund or replace any broken items. Beach chair arrived with missing g screws and couldn’t be used, umbrella stand rusting after two weeks, umbrella pole is splinting

Great if you don’t need to contact them

The products are beautiful and well made but if you happen to get a faulty item…just pray for sanity, because that’s all that is going to help you. Not the customer service team. They don’t read (and/or speed-read) your enquiry and then proceed to ask you questions that you’ve already covered in the initial enquiry…and then they take another week to reply to that and the cycle repeats itself.
I’m two replies in, they have asked questions that I’ve already answered in previous replies. I still have a faulty product and it’s been over two weeks of this. I’m so passed wanting a replacement now, I just want my money back so I can stop this torture 😂. It’s actually comical HOW BAD their email queue management is. Customer service should be where businesses invest their money first, because it’s instances like these, that you lose all those marketing dollars and hard work to accrue a genuine repeat customer. Life is too short to sit on emails to businesses that need you, not the other way around. Save your precious time and money and go elsewhere.

Business and Pleasure Sell Defective Beach Chairs-Worthless Warranty

I have purchased a number of beach chairs and umbrellas over the past 3 years. The chairs are wooden ( foldable) reclining lounge type chairs with a cloth fabric. Their chairs cost around $250-$300. Business and Pleasure represent that the chairs hold adults weighing over 200 lbs. What they don’t advertise is the chairs have a very limited warranty.
The wooden front dowel of my chairs that I purchased a little over a year ago snapped as a young boy ( under 140lbs) was sitting in it. The chair had been used less than 5 times.
The Business and Pleasure reps stated it was not under warranty and even refused to send a replacement wooden dowel so I could fix the chair. They said they could only offer to semi me a new chair at a very slight discount.

Stay away from this seller!
I also noticed that the other beach chairs I purchased from them are starting to fail.

Shocking product and service

Shocking product and service. Bought parasols and used for 8 weeks, Mold growth appeared despite putting the parasols away each evening. Company contacted and said there is a mold growth warning on their website. After 8 weeks usage!!!
Think carefully before you buy and read everything.
They are not prepared to help under any circumstances
