I placed an order early December, it took a week to receive it, maybe Xmas played a part, but expected it to come quicker and I received no indication of when to expect it. The contents arrived at room temperature, I had recently returned from NY where a friend cooked me a flat iron steak that was incredible. So flat iron was part of my order. What a disappointment, it didn't look like flat iron, it had loads of silver skin, I trimmed 25% of it off, making it even more pricey . It was tough and I cook my steaks to medium rare.
I also ordered wagu striploin which were very good.
I was prompted to write this because I just received an order from James Whelan, ordered on Wednesday arrived today, and they told me Wednesday that it would be here today. The packaging was bomb proof, meat still chilled. I haven't eaten it yet but I know where I'll buy my meat in future.

I’m an avid homecook and have been buying meat from artisan butchers for decades (I’d never buy meat from a supermarket) I came across butcher.ie and could get meat delivered to my door which was brilliant but when it arrived the meat was the best quality I’ve ever had. And not just their prime cuts, their cheaper meats like mince, sausage(s), chicken and burger products are all top quality. Their beef mince is lean with no grease released during cooking.
Finally their selection of products and next day delivery brings just convenience to those who don’t have a local butcher shop and don’t want low grade supermarket meat.

Great quality meat, great prices and great service. I hate going into supermarkets these days so get everything delivered. But I like good quality meats, which the supermarkets don’t supply. So having a butcher deliver me my meat is perfect! My freezer is always stocked with the highest quality and I love it.
Strongly recommend using this business, you won’t regret it!

I love Butcher.ie for a few reasons. I honestly can't recommend them enough. I've always found it difficult to source proper barbecue cuts like picanha, brisket and bavette from local shops, but Butcher.ie never lets me down.

Their delivery service is excellent. Orders arrive fresh and well packed, and the drivers are always sound. Reiner in particular was great. Even when I'm staying with my mother in Wicklow, UPS delivers my order without any hassle. Seriously fantastic service and top-quality meat every time.

Simply brilliant service

Ordered the most delicious meat from butcher, went for a tomahawk steak and added smoked bacon rashers, pork sausages and black and white pudding for a wonderful steak/Irish breakfast

Note to be missed if you want the best meat you’ll find anywhere delivered to your door

I ordered a pack of burgers from Butcher.ie and couldn’t be happier. They arrived fresh, neatly packed, and you could instantly tell they were made from quality meat.
