Disappointing
I placed an order early December, it took a week to receive it, maybe Xmas played a part, but expected it to come quicker and I received no indication of when to expect it. The contents arrived at room temperature, I had recently returned from NY where a friend cooked me a flat iron steak that was incredible. So flat iron was part of my order. What a disappointment, it didn't look like flat iron, it had loads of silver skin, I trimmed 25% of it off, making it even more pricey . It was tough and I cook my steaks to medium rare.
I also ordered wagu striploin which were very good.
I was prompted to write this because I just received an order from James Whelan, ordered on Wednesday arrived today, and they told me Wednesday that it would be here today. The packaging was bomb proof, meat still chilled. I haven't eaten it yet but I know where I'll buy my meat in future.
