Not so whisper quiet
While searching for a small quiet dehumidifier, I came across the DRIMO PRO that claimed to be "whisper quiet", running at just 43dB. I thought this would be great for the study and/or bedroom. Upon receiving the unit, it turned out to be louder than my Dyson fan as well as the pedestal fan with the compact dehumidifier running between 55dB and 65dB - definitely not library worthy. I reached out to the supplier on 6 January in the hope there was a way to reduce the noise. Unfortunately I have not had a response back from ButlerMe and with a 30 day trial nearing an end, I am loathe to return it only to be out both $$ and unit.
I will say that the unit does work and does extract water from the air - stars for that. So if you have a room where noise is not a consideration like a workshop or bathroom, then this unit may be sufficient, but I would not recommend it for the bedroom or study. However their support is questionable at this time due to the lack of contact by the supplier.
