I am very dissatisfied with my ribeye (Entrecote) steak order, purchased on January 24th as part of a promotion for €24.99 and received on the 27th. When cooked, the meat was excessively tough and rubbery, making it inedible. Ribeye steak is normally very tender, juicy, and fatty, but instead, the fatty part was mostly sinew. When I called Butlon, communication was very difficult. Finally, the customer service representative told me that the meat was not good quality, that they ordered the meat from Germany, and that the only option was to give me a €5 voucher or a €5 refund. First of all Butlon, consumer rights exist, and you are not complying with the law. It is your problem if you receive poor quality or incorrect meat to sell; you must be responsible for your own mistakes. A customer should be full refunded in these cases or resend order.
